Awesome beach getaway

This was our second year staying at this property. We love the setup of the villa. It’s so convenient to lots of options for entertainment and food and you can’t beat having a pool where you can watch the teenagers play from the patio.

Loved it!!!

We loved this villa. The kitchen was great with all the utensils, pots and pans, etc. that we needed. The location was really nice and near the pool. We are sad to leave, we enjoyed the month we stayed here. The Edgewater Resort is a fantastic place to stay.

Exceeded expectations!

Beautiful place and absolutely prime location! Lots of fun places and great food right across the street from the entrance. The shuttle is very convenient, especially for going across the pedestrian bridge to the beach. Host was always in touch and very accommodating for our family. We had an amazing stay and have recommended this place to other family members. Hope to be staying here again!

Great family place

Property as described. Pool right out the door for quiet swimming or go to the big fantastic pool on site. Everyone there very nice, shuttle service to and from pool was a great feature when you have children. We plan to return and hopefully stay in the same condo. Owner was very easy to work with.

Perfect

This condo was centrally located between the two ball fields. Made our commute easy. The walk to the beach was a close enough when the cart was unavailable. The pool was literally right outside the back door and never crowded. If we come back I would definitely try to book this place again.

The villa is absolutely beautiful!! It is spacious, up-to-date, and stocked with essentials (towels, laundry detergent, tissue, etc). The property itself is beautiful. There is a pool immediately outside this villa. The beach is a short tram ride away. Next to the beach is a larger pool with a restaurant a few steps away. There are activities for the kids—airbrush tattoos, movies at sunset, and arts and crafts. You can parasail and learn how to surf too. The staff are professional and courteous and the owner is amazing!!

Condo was fine- location is amazing

The condo was dirty upon arrival and I notified Tammy immediately to which she replied she has never had a complaint. The check in and check out process was great. We have stayed at Edgewater many times, but this was an average stay. Nothing stood out about this condo except the proximity to the small pool. Otherwise, there were no kids dishes, pack and play, or anything to accommodate kiddos.

Needs updating

Good owner but the resort was dated for the price. The condo was not as clean as we had hoped for. Owner was quick to respond and was apologetic. Owners living above are very loud and we could hear them walking. Just not the relaxing and clean vacation we were hoping for. We actually left a day early.

Clint I wish I had known that the condo was not cleaned to your liking. I would have called cleaning people to make it right, Sorry the neighbors were so loud. I have never had that complaint before.

Dishwasher was broken. We had to rewash dishes in the cabinets because they obviously had been unloaded from a non working dishwasher. The bottom had popsicle sticks and spoons under the rack. Housekeeping came into the villa before we had left. The lady was apologetic stating that she “thought the villa was empty.” Pillows definitely need replacing. They were stained terribly. Washed the rug in the bathroom because it was beat down and filthy. Blinds in the double bedroom were missing sections and curtains were off the rods in sections of in the master bedroom and living area. Everything else was great and the host was great. We just think the housecleaning needs improvement.

Great Resort

Beautiful setting, pool right behind condo. Easy parking in front of condo. Golf cart tram every 15 minutes to the beach and larger pool. Beach access easy and 4 chairs and umbrellas were provided (in closet) and were great. There was a leak under the kit sink, owner said previous occupant would not allow access, but didn’t follow through with repair while we were there. We had to keep making sure the water wasn’t over-flowing. Master shower needs seal around tub replaced, it’s moldy. Guest bedroom, one bed frame squeaks considerably. Only one roll of TP per bathroom, so bring some! Grocery and restaurant’s nearby. Walmart is the best prices, and really close.

Thanks Lisa, As far as the leak goes, previous guests were there for a month. I had Peadin plumbing check it. He said it was a slow drip & they didn't want it done while they were there. I was in constant contact with you anytime you had an issue. The whole building had to have water shut off to fix it which I had to schedule thru HOA. It has been fixed along with drain. As far as tissue per bathroom that is standard at the condos.

Our villa was in an excellent location and very quiet and well maintained. Tammy was an amazing host and answered any questions quickly. She had everything you might need in the kitchen utensils and pans to cook nearly anything you needed. It was a great stay!

Great summer vacation! Beautiful condo!

The condo has recently been redecorated and was just as described. Hope we can stay here again! The only issue we had was checking in at the guard gate. They only had one temporary parking pass for the condo and my daughter got it because she arrived first. Fortunately, we arrived this year before the main office closed and they were able to give us both of the passes that I paid for. Don’t know what we would have done if the office had been closed because the guard was not going to let us in, even after I showed him the email from the owner. We had a wonderful relaxing vacation with family!
