Wonderful in-town stay!

Wonderful apartment within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Tastefully decorated, bed was comfortable, super cozy! We loved our stay!

Cozy cottage right in town

Immediately felt at home in the clean, comfortable, and safe inlet right off the main road. Lissette's communication and presence was perfect and so kind. It had everything we needed and would definitely stay again. Loved the sleep number bed!

Costal Exploration

This was the perfect opportunity to enjoy small town Maine at its finest. Lisette's apartment was perfect and actually as described and reviewed by others. We fell in love with the River House restaurant across the street and Bred in the Bone as well...really memorable. Thank you!

Great stay

Enjoyed our 3 night stay. Clean and comfortable. Lissette was very welcoming. Perfect place to explore the area. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Enjoyed the firepit and the beautiful view of the river from the Adirondack chairs. Will definitely return. The Maine Botanical Garden is a short drive and worth a visit.

Lovely Little Apartment

Very cute apartment perfect for a jumping off point to lots of wonderful Maine adventures. Lissette communicated quickly with any questions we had. Damariscotta was a perfect place for our summer vacation!

Lupine Photo Workshop Weekend

Greatly appreciate the accommodations for this trip. It was the perfect location for exploring the various sites our group went to photograph. The rooms were very comfortable, with lots of items to make it feel like home. The bed was very comfortable as it was one of those adjustable varieties. Only spent about 19 hours in the room during my three days there. Hence not a lot of time to enjoy the use of all the amenities. Had my own parking space, and a great location to downtown Damariscotta. Wish I could have spent another day exploring the area. Good reason to come back, which I certainly would do!

Conveniently Downtown but Cozy and Private

Charming decor in a European sitiing room style. Apartment is well-appointed with all amenities. Although located right off of Main Street, it is quiet and private. I was able to walk to the local pub and other shops. Excellent communication with the property manager throughout my stay. When I was arriving late, the host turned on the lights for me!

A downtown Daramiscotta gem...

Hospitality of the owner--first rate. We arrived after dark--Lizette personally made sure we were safely inside and happy. Our apartment was very clean with nice details for the adult traveler: the king bed, and bedding, in our (2) bedroom space were very comfortable. Excellent water pressure made the shower a treat; the bath linens are high quality. As if you own the place, walking proximity to everything on Daramiscotta's Main Street could not be easier! Parking was easy and ample.

Hidden gem

This property turned out to be even better than I expected, and Lisette was friendly and quickly available for any questions or needs. The apartment is just steps away from the river in one direction, and the village shops and restaurants in the other, tucked away from the main street with plenty of privacy and charm. Had short, beautiful drives to Birch Point, Damariscotta Lake, and Pemaquid Point parks. I appreciated having a dedicated parking space right next to the apartment as well.

Place was just perfect! A wonderful mix of boho and unique, one of a kind decor. Place was cozy, close to everything and so clean. Owner wad perfect amount of helpful and friendly. Will definitely rent again!

Beauty in Damariscotta, Mid-Coast Maine

If given the choice, I would stay here every time I visited Mid-Coast Maine. Not only is access to the beautiful downtown area of Damariscotta (a gem that is still somewhat undiscovered) perfectly situated, Lisette's cottage and attentiveness were unmatched. Even though I have stayed in many VRBO's both here and abroad, this is one of the best. Don't forget to visit the newly opened "Bred in the Bone" for early morning cappuccino as well as dinner. And the local bookstore is a gem. The food and people are outstanding and you can bring back your leftovers to keep in the fridge and reheat in the micro. Trust me–enjoy YOUR own stay in this beautiful cottage.

Perfect stay!!

Everything about our stay was excellent, especially meeting Lissette. She was welcoming, warm, and eager to make our stay relaxing and comfortable. The accommodations included everything we needed, and the location was central to downtown. An added bonus is her gardens that are beyond beautiful even in October. All the work is done by her alone, a passion of the heart. Thank you Lissette we most definitely will be back.
