Medan transporthuset blev lagt till vid ett senare tillfälle som en bostad som var skild från bondgården, gården själv och huvudbarnet går tillbaka till slutet av inbördeskriget. Det sitter också längs John Hunt Morgan Heritage Trail, vägen för förbundsmedlembrigadgeneral Morgan tog under sin raid på södra OH.
Med det är rullande betesmarker, liten fruktträdgård och tallskog, blir det för lätt att gå vilse i dagdröm på baksidan.
De delade spåren och fiskedammen är också ett bra ställe att döda tid. Och på kvällarna är brandringen ett utmärkt ställe att varva ner och kanske få en glimt av hjortan som brukar hyra på backen.

Weekend getaway with pups

Great location & beautiful property. A little close to the road but still felt private enough to enjoy the jacuzzi on the deck. Not giving 5 stars because the mattress is a sink hole and was uncomfortable and because there was an ant problem in/under the kitchen sink.sink which

Adorable couple's cottage!

We loved the quaint comfort of this cabin! The location is centrally located to all attractions and easy to get to. The bed is super comfortable... The property is beautiful with lots of nice walking trails to explore. The only negative thing was the extremely small shower! Also, bring extra foresters if you come in the colder months!

Quaint and Beautiful

This quaint, little cabin was just what my boyfriend (now fiancé!! :-D) needed for our weekend trip to Hocking Hills. Ash Cave, Cedar Falls, and Old Man's Cave are must-sees for all visitors! The hot tub was a welcome addition to help relax after long hikes. We even had a few deer visit us while we were relaxing!

Perfect Set Up & Location

The Carriage House is a super cute gem in the Hocking Hills. We truly had everything we need, but please note that there is no wifi and I missed that detail when booking. The space is cute, clean and has a great location. Nick and Shannon provide everything you could need and the hot tub is the perfect way to end every night after hiking and sightseeing. I highly recommend this space for your visit to Hocking Hills :)

Very enjoyable!

Cabin was nice and as advertised. Stayed there for Easter and really enjoyed our first trip to the area. I loved being able to bring my dog and walk the property as well!

We're Nick and Shannon, owners of Nine Pines Vacation Rentals in Hocking Hills. In 2017, we decided to sell our cleaning business and take the leap of moving to our favorite place on Earth, Hocking Hills!
We love providing a place to stay for people, and giving them the opportunity to fall in love with the area also. Even though this is the hardest business and job we've ever had, it's also by far, the most rewarding. We hope to pass this business on to our children someday.

Varför värden valde detta boende

The first time we saw the farm, we immediately knew we couldn't pass up the opportunity to own it. Even though the Carriage House was originally built as a Mother In Law suite, it works perfectly as a simple getaway for the couple that wants to be close to everything Hocking Hills has to offer, but not at the huge cost of a fancy cabin.

Nine Pines Farm sits along one of most scenic roads in the Hocking Hills region, and part of the 'Windy 9' scenic routes. This property allows you to take in the scenery of Appalachia, without ever leaving the farm!
