Detta stora, bekväma hem ligger på en lugn grusväg nära vandringsleder. Huset har 4 sovrum, 2 1/2 bad, ett bibliotek och en källare. Det ligger på en 2 hektar tomt omgiven av stenmurar och mogna träd. Det är en kort cykeltur eller kör till vackra stränder, underbara restauranger och en pittoresk strandstad.

Block Island namngavs en av Nature Conservancy's "Last Great Places" i världen. Över 40% av ön är bevarad mark - allt tillgänglig för vandrare, vandrare, löpare och upptäckare. Det är en vacker ö som är tillgänglig med färja från Point Judith, Rhode Island, New London, Connecticut och Montauk, New York.

Under sommaren är huset endast tillgängligt för veckovis uthyrning - måndag-måndag.

Om du vill ta med en bil till ön, ska du göra en färjebeställning med Block Island Ferry så snart som möjligt. Den enda färjan som tar bilar lämnar från Point Judith, RI.

Du måste ta med egna lakan, handdukar och solstolar.

Perfect Beach Getaway

The house was a perfect place to house my family for a Block Island Reunion. Follow the instructions from the VRBO guide to the house instead of GPS to avoid getting lost. The house is located on top of a hill on the southern part of the island so it had a great breeze for those warm days. The yard and patio were our favorite places to hang out after a day of exploring or at the beach. And there was plenty of space indoors to accommodate the 7 full size adults. There are plenty of fans in the house as well to keep each person cool at night. I highly recommend this spot for family gatherings on the island.

Hi!

The dishes and appliances all needed to be washed before we used them including the refrigerator, the house had a mold issue. The house had a lot of moisture inside even with the humidifiers running nonstop our clothes were damp just from hanging in the closet.

Relaxing getaway

We enjoyed our stay for a long weekend in September. This peaceful house is located in a quiet part of the island off a short dirt road. We enjoyed the natural light provided by plenty of picture windows, a fun library/study , large outdoor deck and 4 comfortable bedrooms for our family of six to stay in.

Beautiful Home/ Perfect Long Weekend

This house was beyond perfect. Enough rooms (and bathrooms) for everyone have enough space to be comfortable for a long weekend. The yard and deck are both large and beautiful. This house was fully stocked with all the kitchen amenities you would need to prepare dinner and drinks with your friends while enjoying the beautiful calmness of the property. Beds are extremely comfortable and have pillows and comforters. The home owner was very accommodating and reached out with all the information we needed for the weekend with clear instructions in a friendly manner. My group and I truly felt like we were “at home” in this house and decided we would absolutely rent again.

Wonderful Getaway

This was our second year here and we found it to be just as great as we did last year. Location is perfect for us, not too far from downtown restaurants, shopping, and beaches, but far enough for peace and quiet.

Family wedding on Block

On the island with our adult children and our grandchild for a family wedding. The house was a perfect set up for our family, 2 bedrooms on first floor and 2 on the 2nd floor provided plenty of sleeping space and privacy. Open kitchen, dining area and living room provided a wonderful space to spend time together as a family. A special spot was the spiral staircase leading up to a wood beamed study that provides another area to relax, we called it the Harry Potter room! There are games, children's books and some toys which was much appreciated and enjoyed. We loved that it had a big yard, back deck for hanging out and privacy. The outdoor shower was a favorite, loved that there is a ping pong table in the basement along with a washer and dryer. Everything you needed was there. The owner was extremely accommodating and if we had a question responded immediately. Location is perfect and not far from the center of town. Would highly recommend and would definitely rent again.

September Family Wedding on Block Island

We booked this house so we could spend some time before and after we attended a family wedding on Block Island. The property was beautiful with a large yard and wonderful breezes. We spent a lot of time on the back deck enjoying the outdoors. Inside of the house easily accomodated 7 adults and 1 child. The house is off the beaten path on a dirt road yet only 5 minutes from town. Kitchen is fully equipped. We very much enjoyed our time here and would definitely consider staying here again.

Gem on Block Island

If you are looking for convenience and tranquility on Block Island, look no further. This spacious, charming home on a beautiful, large property was everything we had hoped for and more. A ten-minute drive from the ferry and Old Harbor gave us quick access to restaurants and shops, and the well equipped kitchen made "eating in" easy. The home was clean, well maintained, and welcoming, but do remember to bring your own sheets and towels - it seems to be a Block Island tradition. The owner was very prompt and friendly when we had questions, and a nearby caretaker was available if needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this quintessential New England property.
