We were a family of 12 and a mix of ages. We all loved our 2 week stay. The villa is set in a lovely peaceful area but with easy access to all the amenities.It was very hot when we were there and the pool was fantastic for keeping out of the heat and aircon in all rooms was a relief, especially at night. The villa is set in a lovely peaceful area but with easy access to all the amenities. The property has everything you need and more and it feels like home rather than just a holiday rental. We didn't hire a car which was do-able. It is a steep walk up to the town but we managed and used the local taxi's and buses a lot, which we worked out was cheaper than hiring cars as we would have needed 3 vehicles for us all for days trips etc. The local town Benalmadena Pueblo is lovely, we found a great bakery, butchers, supermarket and there are some great restaurants and bars. The coast is so close too, you are spoilt for choice for things to do. We went to Malaga, the Zoo, the beach but I think lazy days by the (very clean) pool were probably our favourite. Jenny is a lovely friendly host and she answered any queries we had straight away. Thank you Jenny for sharing your lovely villa. We hope to return one day!

Peaceful and Lovely

This is a beautiful home with large gracious rooms. Plenty of room for all ages. Great kitchen with all the gadgets and mod-cons. The pool is full sized and very secure with the iron fencing.It is much easier to use a taxi, Uber or the train to visit the surrounding areas as parking in the smaller towns and Malaga is impossible.My one negative comment is that the lock on the outside gate is old and the tumblers are worn thus it is very finicky and we were never sure that it was going to open.

Amazing holiday!

What an amazing place to stay! Perfect for all ages. Plenty of space inside and out for anyone to get quiet time if needed. Kids absolutely loved having the playhouse to play in when needing time out the sun. Communication with Jenny was fantastic. Always on hand to answer any questions and nothing was too much trouble. The house is so well equipped, has everything you need. This really was a brilliant find and definitely will be returning. We loved that the pool was gated all the way around, helped with the children. We can't thank Jenny enough for letting us stay in her beautiful family home. It was lovely to feel so welcome and relaxed

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Jenny’s beautiful house in Benalmádena. From the very first contact months before our arrival, communication was warm, personal and incredibly helpful. Jenny even offered a video call beforehand so we could already get a feeling for the property.When we arrived, we immediately felt welcome. Jenny had thoughtfully done some shopping for us, which was such a lovely surprise after travelling. Throughout the entire stay she was always available, responsive and genuinely caring without ever being intrusive.The house itself was wonderful — spacious, comfortable, clean and perfectly equipped for a family stay. We especially loved spending evenings outside with drinks in the pagoda area. It truly felt like a home rather than a rental property.Jenny also shared local tips for beaches and restaurants, brought extra towels immediately when needed, and even invited us to enjoy fruit and herbs from the garden. Those small personal touches made the experience extra special.Another thing we really appreciated was her flexibility on departure day. Since our flight was later in the evening, she kindly allowed us to stay longer so our granddaughter could still have her afternoon nap. That level of thoughtfulness is rare.We have stayed in many holiday homes over the years, but this was one of the few places where we genuinely felt at home. Thank you Jenny for your warmth, hospitality and kindness. We would love to come back again.

Villa Acuario is lovely

Villa Acuario is the perfect holiday house. An oasis of tranquility and convenient to all the vibrant cultural site, sporting activities, shopping, and great restaurants in the Malaga area. The pergola is heaven—gorgeous views of the sea with soft breezes and comfy sofas. The garden is lovely and fragrant. The pool is large and central to the house and guest house. We had an awesome family reunion of 11 people of all ages from ages 1 to 70 years old. Everyone said it was the best holiday ever!! The main house is an ideal balance of a comfortable family home and elegance. The bedrooms (ensuite) are split on either side of the living, dining, and kitchen areas allowing for privacy for all the guests. The kitchen is a “cook’s kitchen”. There are 4 dining table options—next to the kitchen, formal dining table with a view of the garden and 2 large outdoor tables. The guest house allows for additional privacy and areas for people (for example older children) to gather together. The whole property feels like you are staying in your own private luxury resort. We spent half a day touring each in Malaga and Marbella, boating, hiking, and swimming on beaches and then went “home” to relax, talk, enjoy each other’s company and the beauty of the sea, house, and gardens. Jenny is a most welcoming and helpful host. She is available to answer any question, make recommendations (she recommended a fabulous chef to cook for us) and give local advice on where to hike or find necessities.

Drömhus för många

Jag har länge planerat att ta mina fyra barn och alla barnbarn på en lång semester under samma tak och i ett varmt land. Vi hittade paradiset och har här firat min 60-årsdag. Perfekt för en stor familj som ändå vill ha möjlighet till avskildhet om man så önskar. Den inhägnade poolen är fantastisk, simmade 1000 m om dagen. Värdinnan är underbar och mycket hjälpsam om det skulle behövas. Rekommenderar starkast detta ställe för större sällskap.

Fantastisch!

Een heerlijke vakantie gehad in een fantastisch huis. Alles was aanwezig voor ons gezin van 13 personen. Eigenaar is heel behulpzaam en hartelijk. Foto's van de website komen overeen met de werkelijkheid. Uitzicht is werkelijk fantastisch. Heerlijke tuin! We hebben genoten en zullen zeker nog eens terug gaan.

Perfect Holiday

We have recently returned from a 10 day holiday at this amazing property. The main house, summer house and pool (basically everything) could not have been more perfect for our large family group of 12. We immediately felt at home and at ease. As mentioned in other reviews, Jenny, the owner, was exceptional, nothing was too much trouble. I have booked a number of villas previously and this was definitely the easiest and best interaction and villa I have had. We really didn't want to leave,!

Fabulous summer holiday

We had a wonderful week with extended family in Jenny's house. Fitted 4 different families with different aged kids all of whom had a blast. Really well appointed kitchen with loads of equipment plus herbs, oils etc which was great. Loads of stuff to keep everyone busy......pool toys, pingpong table, basketball hoop. Also a piano which thrilled one of the guests! Location was great. Steep but very possible walk into beautiful Benalmedena Pueblo, also lots of convenient supermarkets nearby. Garden was beautiful and had loads of secret spaces for hiding out with a book. Only small criticism would be for such a large house parking is very limited. All in all a wonderful house, great holiday and a very approachable and helpful team!

Oppholdet på dette feriestedet overtraff våre forventninger. Usjenert beliggenhet med fin utsikt, romslig og rikt utstyrt for en storfamilie. Eieren var svært hjelpsom og imøtekommende i forhold til spørsmål vi hadde før og under oppholdet.

A beautiful family home

We have had a brilliant week at villa Acuario. Jenny was very helpful before we arrived and during our stay answering any questions we had and offering advice about the area etc. The house it self was perfect for a larger group with children. Lots of exploring for the children to do in the gardens and the little play house was great! Filled with toys too. The pool was gated which made it nice and safe for the little ones. Very accommodating for babies. There was two travel cots available and high chairs so it really was perfect - we had six children under the age of 5! We had everything we needed. We spent our days around the pool using the bbq for lunches and had our evening meals out at some lovely restaurants. The pueblo would be walkable for adults but as we had so many young children we chose to get taxi’s. They arrived within 5 minutes and only cost 8 Euros to the pueblo (old town) and 13 to the beach / marina. Overall we had a fantastic week and if we were so exhausted from running round after small people all week we’d be booking again!

Perfect house, great location and lovely host

The best vacation thanks to the amazing house, beautiful garden and super pool. Jenny the host was so nice, informative and welcoming. The house is designed with a lot of love and care and so was the garden. We were 2 families and we spent 3 weeks with small kids and grownups and it was perfect. The pool has a fence so it was very safe for the small kids. It was August but there was cool air especially in the lovely pagoda, the view was amazing. Jenny the host was so nice and helped us in any question or request we had. The place looks even better then the pictures. Even the cleaner was super nice and we asked her to come every day to cook breakfast ( additional of course) and we totally fell in love with her. The house (including the guest house), pool and garden is highly maintained. The old town next to the house is very nice and has good restaurants. Thanks to all of this we had the perfect vacation and we definitely plan to go back.
