Romantic Gatlinburg Getaway

The beautifully appointed cabin served as an excellent escape from the bustling Gatlinburg strip. Less than a mile from the Greenbrier Restaurant, and slightly more than a mile from downtown the location is perfectly situated. The jacuzzi tub, gas fireplace, and outdoor hot tub make this cabin perfect for a couple who are looking to relax after a long day walking either downtown or any of the scenic trails of Smokey Mountains National Park

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed here in January. It a cute little cabin to stay in. In our previous Vrbo they stocked it with a few minimal groceries like drinks, snacks, and some baked goods. They do not do this here so be prepared to bring all your food. Also, keep in mind if they call for snow or ice rain you will not be able to make it up to the cabin. Our truck as well as other trucks would spin in certain areas because of the steepness.

The couch was well used and the bed wasn't the most comfortable. It has a nice kitchen and the game room upstairs was fun to have. The view was nice as well as the hot tub. For the price this place is a pretty good deal. Communication was good from the resort. They texted and emailed directions, check in information and also called to see if we needed anything.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is my 3rd trip to stay at an Elk Springs resort. This was not my favorite place, but I still have enjoyed all of them. Pros: close to the city, hot tub is private, place was clean, everything we need to work worked.Cons: no privacy in game area (large outside window), neighbors are close and we could hear them at times, plan on bringing more stuff than you thought you might (for example, there was no salt or pepper, fortunately we had packets in the car or we would have had to buy some)

Great for a couples’ getaway!!!

This cabin is close to Gatlinburg and is a great size for a couples’ getaway! It’s close to several cabins but was quiet and relaxing! Nice view! The cabin was very clean. The bed was comfortable. It’s stocked with basic kitchen utensils and appliances but no complimentary coffee or condiments. There is a good breakfast restaurant and a great steakhouse just down the street! The shower control is a bit strange, but once you get it figured out, it’s good! The parking spot is right next to the front porch, so it’s easy to get in the cabin. However, the spot is a bit small and may not accommodate a larger vehicle. If you’re looking for luxury and lots of extras, this is not for you.......however, if you want a nice, clean, comfortable and safe place to stay, at a reasonable price, this is it!!!

There was also a construction site right beside our cabin with a lot of noise which was very disturbing. There was only 2-3 channels to watch. The others were all news channels so Inhad to watch the same channel the whole time.

There wasn’t really a lot of hot water to use in the shower or sinks but the bath tub had enough hot water to fill it up but the plug didn’t fit right so it constantly drained fairly quickly. The hot tub was very clean and very nice was a great experience. Overall a good experience, just make sure you bring things like they say for the extended stay like laundry detergent, dish washer pods, toilet paper, and paper towels. The bed was not very comfortable and sinks in the middle, the pillow are flat but luckily we brought our own pillows cause we are a little picky. Also it is also up a steep slope and the backing out situation is a little questionable so be prepared for that. Overall very pleased with my stay.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was fine. Cabin was not well stocked with extra of anything. One roll of toilet paper, one roll of paper towels, no extra bed sheets, no extra blankets. Bed was pretty hard and uncomfortable. Bar soap was not great, but it cleaned hands I guess. Shower water was hot but sink water in kitchen took a while to warm up. Hot tub was nice addition, screened in porch was nice. Got locked out the last night and had to call and have the door code reset, annoying after a long day of difficult hiking. Other people still logged in to Netflix accounts. Several unnecessary texts the day before/day of checking in. Small washer and dryer but only one packet of laundry detergent. Road/driveway tight to maneuver.

The cabin had all the amenities you would want. The cabin is also conveniently located from the Alamo steakhouse, which is only a 2 min drive down the mountain.

The tub itself was clean, however the ports for the jets were not. I am not sure if it was mold, mildew or what, but it came off when the jets were turned on. This was the only issue though. The rest of the cabin was immaculate. The hot tub was great as well.

After hiking all day it was great to unwind in the outdoor hot tub. However, the parking was tight and a little difficult, and lack of spare roll of toilet paper. One roll for 2 with 4 1/2 days .

Easy process, great customer service & place thats hard to leave

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My most favorite thing was how easy it was to talk with someone thats real person rather than a robot when I had questions or needed help. No hoop jumping. Everything was orderly and didn't have to worry. The cabin was beautiful and homey! I loved the fireplace and being able to sit on the couch with it on was super cozy. The hot tub was of course amazing and next to the door so I didn't have to freeze too long after getting out. There was so much dust/hair like things floating in the air that it was bothering my allergies really bad :( But it was still worth it!
