En rad palmettos, havs havre och rullande sanddyner är alla som skiljer dessa rymliga stugor från Atlanten. Inom en kort cykeltur till Night Heron Park är Oceanwoods stugor avskilda och praktiska. Denna stuga rymmer upp till 8 personer med en kung, två dubbelrum och två enkelsängar. Det finns ett däck med en gasgrill, veranda med skogbevuxen utsikt, två TV och trådlöst internet. Stugan är cirka 225 meter från stranden tillgång. Hundar är välkomna till en liten extra avgift .. Det finns parkering för upp till två bilar.

Great location, needs a few updates.

You can’t beat the location and proximity to the beach and Night Heron Park. We rented bikes and enjoyed touring and exploring the island. The house is nice overall, but it could use a few updates to make the stay more pleasurable for future guests.

Excellent cottage!

452 is one of the nicer Oceanwoods cottages we have stayed in. Everything worked in the cottage, including the front door lock. The beds were comfortable and both bathrooms were nice. Unlike some others, the outdoor grill was clean, worked and even had an extra propane tank if we needed it. The kitchen utensils, pots and pans, like most other rentals, are dated but useable . We also did not see a single bug inside the cottage which was a first for us staying on Kiawah. It is dog friendly and while we did not bring ours this time it is nice to know we have the option if our dog sitter cancels on us. Overall a great place to stay!

Great Location for Beach Lovers

The location is great for beach lovers. It is a very short walk to the beach. Also, the street was quiet and we were able to play with our grandson right out front.

Spacious

Plenty of room for all of us. Really close to beach. Saw some deer. Everyone we encountered was super nice. Great vacation rental.

Didn’t love but worked fine

The home was so so. Not terrible but not great. First Oceanwoods cottage we’ve stayed in where the front entrance had not been expanded so the kitchen was very dark/small with minimal counter space. Had to purchase our own pans and cooking utensils. What was there to use was less than OK but also understand most renters don’t take care of cooking utensils. Master bath was not good. Just yucky. Hall bath was updated and great. Can’t beat proximity to beach but for what it cost, I would expect more. Had a few issues which Vacasa took care of but they lacked the follow through I’d once again expect for the price paid. I don’t know that we would stay in this cottage again.

Nice Basic Cottage in Great Location

We have been visiting Kiawah several times a year since the 70’s and Ocean Woods is our favorite location. You just can’t beat it! This cottage could certainly use a fresher look in decor, but it is perfectly comfortable for a couple’s or small group getaway, and we appreciate the owners allowing dogs. We would book again.

Excellent stay, exactly what we we're hoping for

This was exactly what I was hoping for when we booked to visit with family during the week. We had families and friends that were in other rentals on Sea Lavender & just down the road on Sea Rocket- so the proximity was perfect! Access to the beach (which is why we chose the property) was a stones throw from the driveway and the unit had everything we could have asked for- including pet friendly so that my two dogs Hoss & Moose could enjoy the family time as well. Great unit, stay and company....we'll absolutely be considering this again for future visits.

Quiet and Comfortable

Quiet neighborhood. Short walk to beach. Bed is comfortable and Kitchen is well equipped. Enjoyed the screen porch. Second time in this house. Had a great time. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Renters beware

The house was a total disappointment. The house we booked got cancelled and Vacasa picked this house for us instead. The back door was broken and they used a 2x4 to lock it, the master bed was so used we rolled into the middle, the master bath sink occasionally dripped, there was mold in both showers, there was no hot water after 2 people took 5-7 minute showers, half the time the 10 digit code to enter the house wouldn’t work, there was tape on the dishwasher holding it together, the house smelled musty, the pantry door was off with glass shelving from the fridge on the floor, a kitchen drawer almost fell out onto my son and the cabinets were dirty with black stains around the handles. We also had water issues to where Vacasa had to use my personal phone to speak with a plumber that was at the house and we had to have the water shut off for an hour. I’m disappointed Vacasa didn’t do a whole lot to make this right either. My positives for the house was that the sofas were comfortable and there was a nice screened in porch to enjoy.

Excellent Choice

This was our second time staying in this house and again, it did not disappoint. It truly feels like an actual home and not a bare bones rental. It was exceedingly clean and the beds and sofas were very comfortable. I found two great books to read from the extensive book collection. We never heard any noise from our neighbors at night. You just can't beat the location as far as proximity to Night Heron Park and the beach and you're right across the street from beautiful, enormous beach front homes. Afternoons spent on the screened in porch were relaxing. Being able to bring our two dogs is always the best part for us and no one would know this place was dog friendly in my opinion. Just loved our two weeks there, even if we did have a monsoon our last morning! Clay and Donna

Great Space for Family and Wonderful Location

Perfect location!!!

This house is a gem! So close to the beach! Quiet neighborhood, fabulous outdoor shower, comfortable screened in porch, had all we needed. Perfect for a family and also allows dogs. Kitchen could use updating, but was very clean and well stocked. Great price for location and would definitely stay again!

Kiawah fall 2022

Property is very nice. Just a couple of items the homeowners might want to consider: 1) install a ceiling fan in master bedroom - will save energy and use of HVAC fan function. 2) new commode in master bath - current one is too low and small. 3) exhaust fan in master bath needs cleaning - will operate more effectively and efficiently when clean. Overall property is very nice and would stay there again if available on next trip to Kiawah.

Sea Rocket Court

Cute cottage with just the right space for family of 8. Beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed the selection of board games and books. Very short walk to beach!
