Description is not accurate - left on day one. Be careful.
We left this listing within five hours. 1/5 would be fair. The host's seem nice - my wife met the woman and i met the husband. There is wifi in the main house but there is not wifi in the guest house. Yet they claim there is wifi in the description but The husband was surprised when we asked for wifi password and said there isn't any. unless you sit outside one of their home's windows you will not have wifi. The pool is nice but the backyard had wasps all over the patio and pool. We're staying nearby and have had no problem with bees. The bees in the town and countryside are not wasps, and they stick to flowers, and at this property there were old nests on the grass and we couldnt get into house or pool without being swarmed. Was unsafe to be in the pool or patio - we couldnt get fresh air in house because no screens and wasps. The a/c didnt do much - old. The kitchen is old and small. The layout is challenging because the washer and dryer are after kids bedroom so you'd have to do it before they go to bed. The house smelled of cigarette smoke and the host claimed it was not cigarette smoke despite all the cleaning appliances everywhere to mask the smell. The host said it was a chemical smell from a dispensor by the bathroom to kill flies. I smelled the dispensor and it smelled like a clean scent to cover up the bad smell. We all know what cigarete smoke vs chemicals smell like. Either way the smell inside the house was so bad we all had red eyes, stuffy noses, headaches, and felt sick. We couldnt get fresh air due to wasps outside. We left even though a 7 night stay for safety reasons. Host was given opportunity to keep 2 of 7 nights but refused. Host actually kept all seven days. Sad. I would not stay here. I would recommend host get the smell out, get wifi, and get rid of wasps (not bees) or update their listing to be more accurate. The walls are painted freshly but everything else was not worth the price. I feel like we were robbed. We stay at places all over the world and have never left early or requested a refund. As far as location, it's more off the highway under powerlines than country. But nice pool, and nice people. r vrbo policy is bad and they allow this listing to stay up. if you do stay here videotape everything if you need to leave and want money back. Hopefully they fix the situation. no one had been there for months. Not surprised. I dont think they could fix it within the time we were there -it was so bad.
