Escape to Paradise

Our stay was amazing! Our condo was beautiful! It was furnished beautifully and had an amazing view, while still giving us privacy. We are already recommending this condo to friends and look forward to staying there again too!

Beautiful condo with a beautiful view!

Breakfast at Gazebo restaurant right out your patio door was delicious, if you don’t mind a short wait. Walking distance to Napili Beach! Beautiful property!

A great home base

We had a great time at Byron's property. It had everything we needed. We checked in at midnight with the night guard and he walked us to our room and made sure we got in. The condo was perfect for our family of 3 and we made good use of the boogie boards and beach chairs. Thank's again Byron. Mahalo.

Great Beach Condo

This is a nicely renovated and maintained condo in a classic older complex. It has a great ocean view and one of Maui’s best beaches is only out the gate and down the stairs. Plus you can monitor the line at the wildly popular Gazebo restaurant from the lanai. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone that wants a cozy, classic Maui experience.

Lovely condo in a perfect location

Napili Beach was perfect for swimming, walking, and just enjoying the scenery. The patio had a partial ocean view and we saw whales one morning! The condo was clean and well-maintained, had everything we needed, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Nice to have a couple of restaurants within walking distance.

Another Amazing Stay!

This is a beautiful place to stay! We returned to the same condo since it was so beautiful the 1st time! The owner was wonderful and friendly and wanted to make sure we had an amazing time. She even contacted us to see if we needed anything and called after our stay to see how it was. We will continue to stay in the same condo, as well as continuing to recommend it to our friends!

Amazing view and location.

Overall this unit was as advertised and we would rate it at 4.5 if we could. For our preferences the bed and couches were too firm but they could be just fine for others. The beach equipment was top notch and much appreciated. The unit was well equipped but we did have some technical issues with the microwave and television. The interior decorating is a beautiful tropical theme! We would stay here again if the opportunity presented itself.

Great family trip!

This property was perfect for my daughters family. Her friends rented the condo next door so the kids could go back and forth and run on the grass overlooking the ocean. It was filled with all of the beach accessories needed and being able to just call The Gazebo for easy take out was awesome! The kids also loved the Koi pond and the quick walk to Napili beach. Napili Shores is a great place for families.

Everything you need for a family.

This unit was clean and stocked for a great family stay. Enjoyed having beach chairs and umbrella ready for a day at Napili Bay. This is my 4th or 5th stay at this property (not this unit). Other than oceanfront the location is ideal! Grab breakfast to go from Gazebo and eat on the lanai!

Amazing Room

We had such a great stay in this very clean and organized room. The kitchen had everything we needed including the little extras so we didn't need to buy a lot of stuff at the store(spices, coffee etc). All the beach necessities were provided and the beach was such beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the fan kept us nice an cool. Thanks Christine and Byron for providing such a nice home away from home! Aloha

Amazing Condo at the Best Resort on Napili Bay

This is our second time at The Shores and our first time at Christine's wonderful, and well-equipped condo. The resort has everything you need to enjoy your time in Maui. We enjoyed breakfast at the Gazebo, dinner at the restaurant on the property, and Waterworks for all our snorkeling and surfing needs. I enjoyed a massage at Waterworks and we cannot wait to come back. The condo is spacious, well decorated and equipped with all you need to cook and relax. We've been to Maui 10+ times and we can honestly say this is the best place to vacation. Check it out!

As perfect getaway

This was our first time to visit Maui and I researched for many hours on which area to stay, West Maui vs East Maui etc etc. West is best and this small resort is so perfect. Not high rise commercial. Not crowds & crowds of folks. Super quaint & quiet. The nightly gathering at the oceanfront pool to watch the sunset was priceless. This condo is perfect for a couple or a couple with small children. We will be back

The pictures don't do this place justice

If you want a sweet little "system" for enjoying Maui and beating the crowds, this is your place. First, its a 3 minute walk to Napili beach, absolutely stunning plus awesome snorkeling. Second, walk 5 minutes the other direction and you get more snorkeling with lots of turtles at Honokeana bay. Third, staying at this place puts you in close proximity to the Gazebo restaurant, with back-door access (you will find out what I mean when you check in), and the Sea House restaurant for dinner (make reservations days in advance). Fourth, a great market and more restaurants are within a 5 minute drive. What a gem.

Best condo at Napili Shores!

My husband and I and our two young kids loved our stay here. It was perfect to be on the ground floor and have the grassy area out front to play in. We enjoyed all meals on the patio looking at the ocean, and loved frequenting both pools! The beach is just a short walk away and is one of Maui's prettiest beaches in our opinion. The waves were a bit unseasonably rough some days, but we enjoyed the calm days. The kitchen was perfect and well equipped for all the meals we cooked in. Also key to have on-site laundry - had to take advantage of that a few times. Had a plugged shower drain when we arrived and the owners called maintenance for us and got it fixed ASAP. Thank you for letting us enjoy your condo, we'll be back someday hopefully!!

Great stay in Maui!

We absolutely loved this place!! We stayed at other condos, but this truly was the delight of them all. From the moment we arrived we knew we'd found a gem. The house has beautiful Hawaiian traditional decor, was very comfy and clean. On the west side of the island where the condo is located, you get beautiful sunset views from the patio. The beach is steps from the condo. We even got to see some whales, which was very awesome! The location is convenient for several restaurants nearby and quick access to the highway for other adventures on the island. Christine made communication easy even with the additional travel requirements. We had an amazing time. Thank you!!! We will be back!! Christy

Napili is still the Best!

Loved our stay in beautiful Napili! Our family has been enjoying the wonderful Napili Shores since the 70's, but your unit is our favorite so far! The view is amazing, the updates to the kitchen and general decor are first rate. We felt this unit also had less parking lot noise than others we have stayed in. All in all, if you are considering booking...don't hesitate! *Our only tip would be to maybe invest in a mattress topper as the bed is very firm. The sofa beds are pretty typical. Okay for kids, but a little challenging for adults. Maybe some foam pads would go a long way! Can pick them up at Target on your way in. Best beaches, dining and family fun right at your doorstep!

Beautiful condo, you won't be disappointed

5-star condo!! We have stayed multiple times and referred to friends. Beautiful, comfortable, updated decor! Nicely stocked with many of the basics (some units you have to bring everything-dish soap, toilet paper etc) Beautiful views! Short walk to restaurant, pool and beach. Owners happy to help with any issues. We hope to continue staying there and will definitely keep recommending!

PLEASE DONT BOOK THIS UNIT

This review is difficult for me because I don’t want to let this little secret out: this is the best unit at Napili Shores period. Beautifully decorated, lovely art, fully equipped kitchen with chef quality cutlery and cookware, and high quality beach chairs, towels and boogie boards. Watch the sunset from your living room couch, or step outside onto the expansive lawn to watch the spinner dolphins. Please don’t book this unit because I’m coming back and you might grab “my” week.

Family Retreat

Three adults stayed in this 1 bedroom suite while visiting with two other families. The gardens, pools and restaurants on-site were good and made dining easy. The resort is adjacent to the a very pretty beach so only a short walk to great water. The suite had beach chairs, boogies boards for us so no need to rent these. Would defiantly recommend our suite.

Byron is a open water swimming enthusiast, and Christine is a retired American Airline International Purser.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Maui 'No Ka Oi' or as we say Maui is the best. After staying on all the islands of Maui then staying on all the different sides of Maui the search for the best island and best location came down to West Maui and the Napili Shores with its magnificent beach. While all around the world and all around the islands high-rise development has eclipsed the natural beauty of the beaches and palm trees. Not at Napili Bay. Building restrictions were put in place in the 1950's that no structure could be built taller than the palm trees surrounding the Napili Bay. See for yourself the natural preserved old Hawaiian beauty of Napili Bay and Napili Shores.

One of the main attractions to Napili Shores is the large lawn area in the middle of the condo complex that extends to the ocean. This area has been a open home to children playing for generations coming to Napili Shores.
