Charmig uteplatslägenhet - idealiskt beläget nära Arboretum, centrum, UM Hospital

Privat lägenhet på lägre nivå i charmiga 1920-talets hem i Geddes Heights. 3 minuters promenad till Arboretum. Mindre än en mil från U-M Hospital och Central Campus. Cirka 1. 5 miles till centrum och till U-M Stadium. 2 sovrum med helt nytt privat badrum.

Gästerna har en egen ingång från uteplatsen till rymligt, primärt sovrum med bekväm drottningssäng; kärleks säte; inbyggda hörnskåp för kläder; en lässtol; och lugn utsikt över en frodig trädgård.

Detta primära sovrum är fäst vid ett vackert, ljust, sekundärt rum med liknande utsikt. Detta sekundära rum har en dubbelsäng. liten garderob; inbyggda lådor och skåp; en stol och lampa för läsning.

Båda rummen har egen ingång till en hall från vilken ett litet nybyggt badrum har tillgång (duschkabin, enkel handfat, hårtork tillhandahålls). Delad hall ger också tillgång till tvättstuga (vid vistelser över 4 dagar) och trappor som leder till övre, ägarbebodda golv.

Huset är stabilt byggt och tyst. Lägenhetsrummen är välgjorda för avskildhet.

Ägare är in-and-out de flesta dagar, men enkelt kontaktas. Lägenheten nås via en lockbox. Om du vill hälsas av ägarna, vänligen ordna med oss tidigare. Annars är du välkommen att bosätta sig på egen hand och komma och gå som du vill.

Vänligen notera:

- Ägare använder ibland delad hall för att göra tvätt och komma åt andra rum på första våningen. När gäster inte är på fastigheten kommer ägarna ibland att använda uteplatsen.

- Inga husdjur bor på bostaden och inga husdjur är tillåtna.

- Första våningen är underbart cool på sommaren. Under kallare månader har vi bärbara rymdvärmare tillgängliga så att du individuellt kan styra temperaturen i varje sovrum.

- Vi har wifi, men ingen TV. Vi har en minikyl, kaffebryggare och mikrovågsugn, men inget kök.

We loved the setting--quiet, mature trees in the neighbourhood, trails, and little traffic. The outdoor patio was a favourite afternoon reading spot.

Quiet, cozy place in beautiful neighborhood

This is a lovely lower level unit in a beautiful neighborhood. Quiet but a short and pretty walk to South campus, and right by the Arboretum. About a five minute drive to Trader Joes or Whole Foods. Very comfortable. Owners very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.

From the very beginning Nan was very attentive and quick to respond to questions and needs. The property is private, the grounds are beautiful. Unfortunately, it rained most of the weekend. There is a seating area on the patio that can be enjoyed.

Very nice property Very nice family They were available for check-in and promptly replaced our coffee pot when we let them know it wasn’t working Close, walk to the Arboretum and much of the downtown areas They even brought us some disposable dishware upon request so we didn’t have to wash dishes

Comfortable, no-frills guest apartment

The apartment served as a great place to stay off-campus but convenient to UM via a pleasant 15 min walk and very close to the lovely Botanical Gardens. The apartment is the ground floor/basement of a family home. It is comfortable, pleasant, no-frills, slightly worn, thoroughly clean, with friendly and communicative owners. The access lock can be a little tricky.

Oregon Ducks in Ann Arbor

If you are going to a game it is a great location! A fairly easy walk to a downtown area that has lots of food and beverages choices. It is probably .78 mile walk to this downtown area and another 1.25 mile walk from their to the game. Hosts are great people. The place is a tad rustic (Historic Home) and does not have a true kitchen, but a small fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. The only set back is the basement area with laundry room is a shared space, therefore, you could run into hosts while using bathroom or laundry. BUT, they are wonderful and very cognoscente of of guests. Very affordable rustic place in a beautiful area near part of campus.

Our rental was cozy and comfortable, and close to downtown Ann Arbor. We enjoyed the pleasant surroundings while we sat at the patio and read. Communication with our host was a breeze. We'll be back!

Quiet residential neighborhood close to campus

Very nice, comfortable place with pretty backyard patio. Ideal for people wanting to visit campus. A stones throw from the arb, 15 min walk to campus or burns park area. Owners very helpful and responsive.

Perfect stay in Ann Arbor

The apt is in a lovely neighborhood and has a beautiful outdoor patio which we enjoyed. The owners were kind and checked with us during our stay to make sure everything was great. The apt is actually better looking than the online photos. We would and will stay here again and again.

Great spot for easy walking access to A2 attractions/events.

We loved the newly renovated bathroom and ability to do laundry. The apartment had everything needed for a pleasant stay. We were happily surprised by the frige and coffee—the listing did not prominently indicate these were included. The owners were friendly and responsive.

Visiting son at UM/Ann Arbor

It was quite last minute that my sis and I decided to drive to Ann Arbor to visit my son at UM. Given the Holiday and football we were delighted and surprised to find this accommodation. The clean 2 bedroom apartment with a separate entrance in a quiet family home worked well for us. We had our privacy as well as a sense of comfort/security being in a family home. Nan and Ian were welcoming and very attentive. It is always so nice not to have to worry about any basics including coffee! Since we stayed almost 2 weeks we made use of the washer, microwave, and mini fridge. The neighborhood is ideal within walking distance to downtown, UM and the Arboretum. Overall we loved our stay!

Central location and peaceful setting.

This homey and comfortable residence is set in an ideal location, central to all things University of Michigan and Ann Arbor. The guest entrance and patio is private and quiet and nestled in a park-like atmosphere. Nan was receptive and responsive in all aspects of communication and hospitality. I will definitely be staying here again on future visits!

Over twenty years ago, we spent almost a year looking for just the right home and just the right location for our family. When we saw this property for sale, we knew we had found the perfect place for our family for decades to come. A charming house, lovely neighborhood, great schools, a big yard, a stone's throw from the gorgeous Nichols Arboretum, walking distance to virtually everything!

Location, location, location! This area is so beautiful, and we love being so close to the Arboretum (we go there a lot!) and love being so close to everything.

The house itself was designed by a prominent local architect – it is so well-built and beautifully designed – it has all the charm that we were looking for.
