Detta är en två våningar stuga belägen i ett privat trädbevuxet område bredvid en bäck. På övervåningen finns två privata sovrum med fullstor sängar och ett nyrenoverat badrum. Hyresgäster måste tillhandahålla egna sängkläder, filtar, kuddar, handdukar och badrumsprodukter. Kabinen kan sova ytterligare två personer genom att använda futon i ett underhållningssal nere. Köket är utrustat med en elektrisk spis, mikrovågsugn, kylskåp, brödrost och kaffekanna. Krukor och kokkärl, tallrikar, bestick och bestick finns att använda. Awesome cabin

We were so pleased with the property, It rained quite a lot but the cabin made is all good. It has everything you need to have a great stay and the creek is very relaxing to sit by and hear. Rain on a tin roof is wonderful and we loved every bit of it. Can't wait to go back again. Chris n Renee

Quiet get away

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. We particularly loved sitting on the porch and listening to the stream and the wildlife. The place was as advertised. It was clean and neat. Everything was in good condition and working properly. The hosts are very welcoming, and communication was easy. I highly recommend!

Much needed R&R with nature!

Cozy, quite, relaxing cabin, well stocked, well decorated with quality furniture, very clean, relaxing creek right off the the back porch, few sightings of wildlife (large red-headed woodpecker and a few deer) and of course....the large firepit & charcoal grill, where family visited & ate for the day. Highly recommend. Will re-visit in the future.

Peaceful

Our stay was wonderful. The cabin is clean, well stocked and the beds are amazingly comfortable. We enjoyed our stay, especially sitting on the porch and listening to Montgomery Creek flowing by. The cabin is just far enough off the road to feel like a cabin in the woods. We will definitely stay here again when we visit family in the area.

Loved this place

My husband and I stayed here for an anniversary get away and we really loved the property. The house was clean, cozy and comfortable. The outdoor areas were great, we really enjoyed sitting around the fire and watching the stream very close by. The owners were very nice and explained the history of the property which was very interesting. I would highly recommend this cabin for a relaxing get-away.

A very nice place

The cabin and location were just right. Everything was clean and worked the way it should. The fire pit area was very nice. The only downside (and this is to no fault of the owners) was a fair amount of debris in the stream that must have washed down during high water. Some type of community effort is needed to clean out the stream, as it is adds a nice touch of nature to the area.

Everything Exactly as Described in Listing

Charming location. Rich and Liz were friendly and nice during the check-in process. Bringing our own sheets, pillows, towels, etc. was expected since it was clearly stated in the listing, but made our trip a bit more challenging logistically and there is no washer and dryer in the house, so we had to deal with wet towels and dirty linens on the last day. Again, as stated in the title of this review, all of that was clear in the listing so it's not a reflection of the host, just something to plan for and understand beforehand. The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils, cookware, etc. The Keurig coffee machine is actually both a typical Keurig that takes K-Cups but is also a conventional drip coffee maker as well, which was very nice. There are coffee filters in the kitchen. They state the refrigerator is smaller than typical, but it was more than adequate for our us and was plenty large. The WiFi Internet was better than we expected, which was a nice bonus. The location near the creek was very pretty and we loved hearing the creek in the background. The property outside for parking is well lit and maintained. All in all a very good experience.

Secluded, but close to city, food and events

Liz and Rich were very nice. Place is very clean, inside and out. Very peaceful and loved the stream that is on site. Loved the visit to Bilgers Rocks, food at Denny's Barrel Pub was great. Both within 10 miles of cabin. Will be back. Want to see the elk next time.

Relaxing, Private, and Great!

We were looking for a place to stay in the area so that we could go visit family without imposing on them as house guests. We were also hoping to find somewhere with a camping vibe as our boys love getting out in nature at what they call "camping houses". This location fit the bill perfectly. Everything is as described, if not better. The house is quaint and clean striking a wonderful balance between feeling like a cabin while also having all of the amenities you would expect in a house. The outdoor area is where it really shines, with a great fire pit, access to a grill, and wonderful creek. We took our shoes off and waded around each day were there. Our boys loved it! It's also wonderfully secluded and private. We will very likely stay again the next time we head to the area to visit family!
