Great stay!

My wife and I really enjoyed Pirates Landing for a short weekend getaway. The condo was exactly as described and we took full advantage of all the amenities. The owner was very gracious and had great communication. We will definitely be back!

This property was so adorable and relaxing. I loved how the entire place was decorated pirate style. The balcony views were nice,and I loved being close to the boat ramp. The hot tub could've been hotter but that's not the owners fault, but something that could maybe be addressed!!

Pirates landing

The condo was great, faces the pool/hot tub, our son absolutely loved it. The condo seems a little bigger in the living room than most we saw, very roomy, well put together and a lot of fun.

Getaway from the Crowd

This condo is clean and convenient to the beach and town. The elevator was a nice feature if one has difficulty with stairs, or for transporting luggage and groceries. It is a nice place to stay for a beach week or fun weekend. Doug and Lori are excellent hosts, and made an extra effort to welcome us and ensure we had everything we needed. If you like to boat and fish, or if you enjoy a quiet, uncrowded beach, Carrabelle in the winter is for you. The beach is a convenient 5 minute drive from Pirates Landing. The town is very laid back with a few restaurants. We enjoyed visiting the other towns on the coast.

Wonderful condo unit

My husband and myself stayed at this property for 7 nights. Condo is in a great, quiet location right on Carrabelle River. We had everything we needed, plus our own private elevator was the icing on the cake. Would definitely recommend this property because of what it offered. In addition, communication with the owner was superb.

They thought of everything

When we pulled up, we were very excited. The place was beautiful, clean, solid, and smelled amazing. The theme was great too. It was our anniversary and it was perfect for our romantic, cozy get away. I recommend staying at this adult only love nest, you will want to plan to return as soon as possible. Thank you both.

Peaceful short getaway

Very clean condo that is decorated throughout. The pictures are very accurate to what the property looks like. A very peaceful location and just what we needed for our short getaway. Everything we needed was here. The only negative was that we really wanted to use the kayak but the weather didn't cooperate. Everything else was great. Hopefully we have another opportunity to book again.

Fun spot. Love the location

Such a great location. Love the close proximity to the boat ramp. Pool was nice and refreshing after a long boat day out to Dog Island. Favorite part is there are so many people who rent out their units, so it makes a large trip with multiple couples/families easy. We all have out own houses to go back to, but are all able to meet up at for meals, pool time, etc.

Outstanding Second Stay

My wife and I spent two nights here exploring the area after moving our daughter into FSU. This property is perfect for a couple’s weekend getaway. Everything at this property is very well thought out and very well kept up. The property owner is very responsive, communicates well and sincerely wants those staying here to have a good time. We enjoyed the pool to cool down in the evening and found others staying there to be friendly. Our weekend was spent exploring the nearby towns of Carrabelle, Eastpoint, St. George Island and Apalachicola. We found good local shops, restaurants and even a few microbreweries. The state park on St. George Island is fantastic. This part of the state is becoming a favorite destination of ours and this is a perfect property to explore it all from. We will certainly be back!

We love this rental!

It was our second time booking this rental. The location, the surrounding towns with food, and fishing options cannot be beat. The pirate themed condo and booking manager again made this the most enjoyable experience. The property is well maintained and safe. It is one of our favorite places to visit. We will be back!

A West coast Pirate at heart, Douglas was born & raised near the cooler Pacific Ocean water. Learned to sail & navigate the Channel Isls. of California early on. After a brief, yet enjoyable 4 year college marooning in N. Arizona he found his way to Florida. Excursions to the Keys, years of Jimmy Buffett indoctrination & sugar sand in his shoes, he had found a home. 1st stop was central Fl & has resided in Carrabelle since 1997. 2 professional careers later is now a licensed FL Real Estate Associate, with broker, Jeffery S. Galloway.

Carrabelle is located in the Panhandle of Florida just Southwest of Tallahassee. Our quaint little community is one of the last vestiges of Old Florida on the Forgotten Coast. A true haven for those who love & prefer un-crowded coastal outdoors, natural beauty, no traffic & no crowds. You will not find a traffic light in Carrabelle, Florida. In fact, there is only one traffic light in all of Franklin County. Can you guess where?
