Om boendet

Stuga som går förlorad i skogen och på stranden av Truman Lake. Komma bort till en ingen mobiltelefon, ingen Wi-Fi, ingen tv-plats som utstrålar lugn och ro. Denna stuga har varit i vår familj i många år och är min laddning plats att gå till varje april och november. Kort 1/8 mil promenad nerför backen till viken eller en mycket kort bilresa över motorvägen till Higgins Landing båt lansering. 15 minuters bilresa till Iconium, eller 30 minuter till Clinton eller Warszawa. Vi tillåter endast husdjur på en förutbestämd grund och ingen jakt eller skjutning på fastigheten, men var på utkik i creekgräverna i viken för pilhuvud. Detta område var en viktig indisk spårväg och flera pilhuvud har hittats i omedelbar närhet runt viken. Om du behöver ringa ett telefonsamtal, gå bara / kör tillbaka till motorvägen (100 meter) eller den lilla hörnaffären vid Z och ZZ Hwy (3 miles).

Father and adult sons fishing trip

Property was awesome, clean, well stocked and uniquely decorated. Really down in the woods but not far from paved road. Great firepit, Good beds, appliances, TV, WiFi.

Great location!

The cabin was wonderful and very clean. It’s located across the road from a boat ramp which allowed for easy access when putting the boat in and taking it out. It was had everything we needed.

Perfect Little Cabin

Awesome place to stay! Had everything you could need. Fish cleaning area was a huge perk. Boat ramp just a quarter mile away. Not sure what more you could want. Can’t wait to go back again!

Perfect cabin in the woods!!

This cabin is perfect!! Super clean and remodeled inside!! This is perfect for the fishermen or just a couple get away!! Quiet and perfectly laid out!! You have to come experience it for quiet place to relax and let the stress melt away!! Outside fire pit is huge and the back patio is really big and nice!! Set up to clean your fish or just sit!!

Perfect for a private couple get away

Area is fairly secluded with not the greatest phone service which was fine with me and the wife (we still had some service to text the kids). Enjoyed the cabin really nice setup with some history behind it

Great stay

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The beds were comfortable. The bunk beds are built well and can hold adults sleeping on them. Nice, quiet, & relaxing. It was a great stay.

Remote and peaceful

This little cabin is tucked away near the shores of Truman lake. Very clean and comfortable. Do bring a book as there is not any TV or cell phone reception. Just solitude.

Nice cabin. Very convenient to lake! Quite place, but a little overgrown on weeds. Also, the mattresses are terrible. Sorry, but if we were to stay again, those need to be updated. Could not sleep well.

Great getaway cabin with family.

We had an absolute blast at the cabin. The family went artifact hunting and had many finds. The boat ramp right across the highway is very convenient and the owner “Brian” was very informative about the areas artifact and fishing...we will stay again. The cabin is clean , with a trip to the store in Warsaw you can get everything you need for your entire stay.

Nice getaway cabin.

Rented to get away and do some fishing. The cabin is nice and secluded which is what I was looking for. The cat fishing was ok , had a few keepers but talked to a few locals on the lake that said the croppie fishing was amazing, I seen some they had, they were nice size and limited out on fish. I did find some artifacts (points) on the lake bank 👍. I’m going back down in a week to try again.
