Lake View house

We enjoyed our stay, great view of the lake. Great kitchen and layout of the house. House located close to the outdoor pool. Sleep lots of guests with downstairs separate living room.

Comfy home for a crowd

We shared the home with our two sons and their families and had a great time and plenty of room. Close enough to walk to lots of fun activities. Loved the westerly view of lake and sunset.

Wapato vacay home

Size of home great. Large bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Location perfect for families. Close to pool and walking to beach. Need in house book with rules and instructions. Grill filthy. Needs to be better stocked with toilet paper. Paper towels and garbage bags. Would stay there again

Excellent home

The house was a lovely location. Plenty of bedrooms with king sized beds. Decent furniture for our purpose. Lots of little extras such as refrigerator in garage and extra down stairs, toilet tissue, soaps , paper towels, beach chairs. Well kept home. We thoroughly enjoyed our beach time, moored the boat in the marina, rented a jet ski, also tennis, volleyball and miniature golf right there

Great family house!

Loved the location and the stunning views from the deck. Easy to access the sandy beach and pool. Great layout with plenty of beds. Three families stayed with 11 people total and there was plenty of room to spread out between the upstairs and downstairs. Looked to book the same house again next year but unfortunately was unavailable. Really enjoyed our stay!

Disappointed

When we arrived, none of the deck furniture was out. Maintenance came the next day to put out the furniture but it was missing cushions. We then lost hot water. They came out to take a look and said it was the pilot light but still no hot water. Three days of no hot water and they stopped responding to text messages asking for updates. The toilet in the lower level stopped filling with water. So we were unable to use that bathroom. Very frustrating.

Loved the house design and great location! However...

The house met our basic needs and was in a awesome location. The house had several bedrooms with 3 bathrooms, which is always a plus for a party of 7 women. The USB connections in all the bedroom night stands was a definitely PLUS!!! Improvements needed: The rug under the dining room table was a trip hazard because it was rolled up on one end and wouldn't lay flat. Several in our party tripped on it more than once during our brief stay. We planned to cook all of our meals during our stay which worked okay. The kitchen is equipped with many things but not for the # of people the home accomodates. Bakeware was not big enough for our party of 7. We ended up borrowing some bakeware from a friend who lived in the area. Dining room table only had 6 comfortable chairs. There was a 7th chair available but a clunky fit for the table and definitely not as comfortable. House was freezing when we arrived. I get having the heat turned down to save $$ until the guests arrives however it was so cold that when we turned on the heat it caused moisture to build up everywhere in the kitchen. The heat vents downstairs were closed and because they were located on the ceiling none of us were tall enough to reach them. The kitchen area needed a deep clean - sticky wall under the bar counter; and inside at least one of the drawers. The home was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay primarily because it was more about being together.

Great home but not a 5

The house was great with a lot of space for the 10 of us. The house had everything we needed, even several seasonings and some olive oil. There were beach towels provided above the washing machine as well. Although the home was fully stocked, it did not provide enough dish washer detergent, toilet paper, garbage bags, or paper towels for 10 people. The televisions should have directions. It was very difficult to get to the cable when we were ready to settle down and watch a game after a long day in the sun. We were also Very disappointed in the state of the grill. It was not clean enough and would flame up no matter what we were grilling, making it very difficult to cook our meat without charring it. Overall the house was great! It wasn't perfect, but we were very happy to be together in such a beautiful place.

25 Years of Wapato Point Family Vacations

For 7 adults and 2 active young boys, we all agreed that altogether is was just a the right place for all, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. Over the years, we've stayed in larger and smaller homes on the point, with some on the water and others near the pool. We found the kitchen, dining and living room to meet our needs, and enjoyed the large deck with a great view. We felt the owners are taking great care of their home (emphasis excellent temperature controls for temps in the 90s. We will definitely keep this home on the top of our list for next year and beyond. I guess I could complain about something, but I don't sweat the small stuff. It was just an awesome three generation family vacation.

All in all everything was great I would say that there is really only 2 parking spots a tight driveway for only 2 pickups. The place was very nice though.

Perfect Family Vacation

We had a wonderful week at Wapato Point Lakeview! The house was very clean and had everything we could have needed. More than enough room for 10 of us to relax and sleep comfortably. The kids loved having their own family room space downstairs. It was really warm so it was nice that the house had A/C. The location and view are great. Right across the street from the community pool and a short walk to the kayak, jet ski and boat rental area. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location and view from the deck

The house was located in the lovely Wapato Point community and directly across from the main pool. The deck was nice to relax on and watch the boats go by on the water. Compared to other companies I have rented from (VRBO, FlipKey), this is the first time I have rented through Vacasa. WIth that said, there were a few things I was surprised to find that I think could make renting more attractive in the future: 1. Dishwasher was broken (Vacasa did not have a record of it as being broken even though there was a crumbled note on the front of the dishwasher saying it was inoperable; and never got it fixed the entire week we were there), 2. Many electrical outlets did not work (including all the outlets in the 3 bathrooms). A guy came out to fix but we had to have him come back b/c not all got fixed 3. Some necessities: no cleaning supplies (to wipe counters and such during COVID), no hand soap next to any sinks (kitchen or bathrooms), no tissues, no mention in the listing that we should have packed pool towels. I guess I have come to expect some of these little things when I have rented from other agencies. Would have made our trip nicer so that we didn't have to keep going to the grocery store for supplies. (Vacasa says that they would provide the cleaning supplies and that they would be dropped off but never did; they said that they do not provide any of the other items - would be nice to note that pool towels are not provided and that the guest should pack them) 4. Gas Grill: Could not turn on the propane. Knob is completely stuck. Eventually we got it to light but is a real fire hazard. Just strange how such a nice house, in such a nice location was missing a few necessities and did not take care of ahead of time some key items which at this price range would be expected.
