Beläget mellan hav och berg, i hjärtat av Cathar land, Danielle och Denis välkomnar dig i ett grönt och fred. Med privat parkering, nyrenoverad stuga, som ligger under ägarens hem är helt oberoende och ger bra komfort. Lägenheten är mycket välutrustad, separat sovrum med eget badrum, ett konvertibelt 2 bäddsoffa i vardagsrummet, ett separat badrum, separat toalett. Två terrasser med trädgårdsmöbler och grill kan du njuta av allt utrymme. Fri tillgång till vår privata poolägare (uppvärmd pool från 15 juni till 15 september). Utrustning: tvättmaskin, kyl och frys, gasspis ugn, mikrovågsugn, kaffebryggare, vattenkokare, brödrost, bord och järn, hårtork och all standardutrustning. (Tvättmedel tillhandahålls).

A great place to stay

Just wanted somewhere we could use as a base to explore local villages and Carcassonne. We immediately felt very welcome and comfortable. Danielle was a very helpful host when we needed anything yet we were left to enjoy the tranquility of the outside areas when we were relaxing. The village had a superb art exhibition that we never dreamed would be possible in a relatively isolated locality. The local cafe, supermarket, bakers and restaurant were all withing walking distance and of good quality. A most enjoyable week away. Thank you Denis and Danielle.

Lovely home, lovely pool and lovely hosts

Just back from 5 days staying in Fanjeaux at Danielle and Denis's lovely little gite. Communication with Danielle was very smooth as was checking in. The apartment is underneath the hosts accommodation but is still very private. The gite is very well equipped and has plenty of outside seating areas and an awesome pool which is shared with hosts. It was mega hot whilst we were in Fanjeaux (46 degrees according to Pharmacy clock)but gite was nice and cool. Fanjeaux is a beautiful little town, great little café/bar, wonderful restaurant, pharmacy, grocery store and bakery all within walking distance of the gite. We had a great stay and would thoroughly recommend staying here.

Sehr schöne Location in einem sehr ruhigen Ort

Die Vermieter sind extrem lieb und hilfsbereit. Man fühlt sich gleich wie bei Freunden im Urlaub. Die Wohnung ist modern, hell und sehr komplett eingerichtet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. 2 Punkte Abzug gibt es nur, da es uns leider überhaupt nicht gefällt, dass 1 Dusche und Waschtisch im Schlafzimmer sind. Das finden wir persönlich unangenehm und ist den Bildern auch nicht zu entnehmen. Die Aussensitze sind perfekt. Man kann sich zu jeder Tageszeit aussuchen ob man Sonne oder lieber Schatten möchte (wenn sie scheint). Auch am Pool hat man ewig lang Sonne. Das fanden wir besonders schön. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen

Totally Peaceful

We had a wonderful 2 weeks staying in this little but perfectly formed gite. The gite is clean and has everything you need. Danielle is lovely and on hand if you need her. The pool is set within the mature gardens and felt like you were in the middle of nowhere. The crowing of the local cockerel is all you can hear. If you are looking for a tranquil holiday but with the benefit of being in touching distance of lots of things to do then this will be ideal. A trip to Carcassonne is minutes down the road and the area has many wine caves to visit.. I would recommend this property and we hope to return in a couple of years as unfortunately,next year it is too small for all the family.

A little bit of paradise

The garden of paradise had much in common with this beautiful place in Fanjeaux. And Daniele and Denis provide warm hospitality in addition to the bounty of growing flowers and fruit trees. I highly recommend this magical cottage in the Heart of Cathar country to anyone who wants to get in touch with what matters here on planet earth - as well as have a wonderful time exploring the neighboring countryside!

Een keurige, gezellige woning.

De ontvangst door Danielle was erg hartelijk. Nadat we ons hadden geïnstalleerd heeft zij ons een rondleiding gegeven door het mooie historische Fanjeaux. We hebben het heerlijk gehad bij Danielle en Denis. Hartelijke en gastvrije mensen die ook onze privacy respecteerden. Een fijne week in een prachtige omgeving.

Walking distance to the village amenities with a great pool and a very friendly hostess.

The village of Fanjeaux is ancient and is a delight, and Danielle immediately volunteered to give us a what was a fascinating guided tour. Our accommodation was spotless, and the very modern bathroom was a real plus, as was the lovely pool which we made good use of! The village boasts a lovely restaurant which we enjoyed - saved me cooking! We explored various Cathar strongholds and enjoyed the famous Mirepoix market. The proximity to the airport at Carcassonne was a real bonus.

Que du bonheur

Tout D abord un énorme merci à Daniele et Denis sans qui ce séjour n aurait pas été le même. En ce qui concerne le logement ca été au delà de nos espérances. C'était spacieux, fonctionnel, parfait pour un séjour réussi. Nous avons eu aussi la chance de participer a la fête de Fanjeaux qui a eu lieu du 12 au 16 août. Ce fut un moment idéal à partager en famille et avec les autres. A bientôt jespere
