Absolutely a nightmare. We read other reviews and from the pictures it looked great but I really wish we chose something else. We arrived at 8 pm and immediately were harassed by the up stairs neighbor that we were too loud. The flooring is the culprit not us, literally you have to walk on your tip toes and even then, it’s loud. Then- the couch was absolutely disgusting. My daughter sat on it without me knowing and now has BUG BITES all over her legs. Then I started checking more things and found hair and mold in the tub, the dust pile under the bed, the dead whatever that is behind the couch and the many MANY mystery smears on the walls…. We were only there for 45 minutes and had to drive home in the dark and pouring rain. The hosts have been non responsive and so un empathetic to what has happened in their rental. They actually issued us a PARTIAL refund! Hahaha partial!! They have bugs and giant brown stains on their couch and a partial refund is what you give? The greed is loud and proud and I would save yourself the exterminator fees and bug bites and just choose a different place. Lucky for you there are tons of other - very clean places to stay in Glacier. Renter beware.

Great location and nicely decorated. The hosts were communicative. Check in and parking was easy. Only negative was that the 2nd bed was uncomfortable and made sleep difficult for one of our guests

Beautiful cozy spot off the grid

All amenities thought of in the unit. This area is a beautiful spot for some nature, hiking, relaxing and indoor swimming. Cell service/ wifi not reliable in the area. Download directions before leaving wifi spots.

Wonderful location and amenities!

Loved the location- close to Baker, easy trails around the property, pools for kids and family friendly common areas/playgrounds. Quiet and peaceful, too. The unit had everything we needed!

Beautiful getaway

This little apartment has an awesome ambience. It’s right up against the forest and you can hear the rushing river that is close by. The neighborhood amenities are awesome. I wish we had more time to use them but it was a quick trip. The main bedroom bed is super comfortable!!!! My sister who slept on the futon said it wasn’t the best sleep, but not horrible. The space is small so just aware of that if you’re traveling with others. We are all super close so it wasn’t a big deal but very very tight spaces. Other than that it was an awesome place

Peaceful location near Mt Baker

We were clearly there during a slow time, but the property was peaceful and well located to Mt Baker. Walking distance to Chair 9 restaurant. Office administrator was friendly and helpful when I clearly did not read the check-in directions before arriving to the property and was surprised to find that there was no cell coverage up there. Don't worry, there is wifi at the property and a beautiful view of the river to keep you entertained!

Wonderful Winter Getaway

There was absolutely nothing more beautiful than the warmth of the unit, the view from the deck (snowfall), and my walk along the Nooksack! Lovely place with easy access to skiing, snowshoeing, food and drink.

Short and sweet

We just stayed for a night to go snowshoeing up at baker; the place was cute, clean, very central to the Mt Baker area, and we really enjoyed taking advantage of the resort’s amenities. Joanna was very nice and quick to respond to questions. Wish we were staying longer.

1/2 hour to Mt Baker ski area

Perfect base camp for consecutive days of skiing at Baker. Nicely appointed condo albeit dated. Everything worked, and it was clean and quiet. I would stay there again.

Beautiful stay at Mount Baker

We had a great time at this cute place! There was a huge rain storm so we couldn’t see the mountain or explore. The home provided lots of games, blankets, and a TV to get comfortable for indoor time. The baseboard heaters worked very well. It was clean and cozy :) The only issue we had was that when we stopped at the front desk to get our parking pass, the lady was a bit rude to us about how we came at a terrible time and advised us we won’t be able to hike. I asked her if there were any other outdoor activities we could do om our way north to Canada since we are from the PNW and don’t mind the rain. She said no, there’s nothing we can do and we should just keep moving along after our one night stay. I understand and appreciate needing to warn guests about the storm, but her demeanor was just rude and not helpful. Overall, I would come back to stay again maybe in the summer and avoid the front desk next time.

The first time we visited Glacier/ Mount Baker, we fell in love with the area. With such a wide variety of Winter & summer activities & breathtaking scenery, we knew that we wanted to spend as much time here as possible.
The Snowater resort has excellent facilities & makes even low season trips enjoyable, whatever the weather.
