Cozy place with a lovely view

We stayed 11 nights there was more than enough room for oeople to stay a night if they had to. Love that the river is right there and how quiet it is during the day. The host is very responsive so dont hesitate to ask some questions if need be. We plan on going back for a yearly trip!

Great place on the River

Highly recommend this house on the river. It was very clean and well kept. Quiet location directly on the water was so peaceful. I hope to come back again soon.

Great family destination

This was a perfect get-away location for our family. The cabin was clean, and had everything we needed for convenience. Sara was easy to work with and promptly responded to our questions. We enjoyed having kayaks available to use too!

Great stay!

The cottage is casual and family friendly. We loved the flat lot and easy access to the docks/lake. There is not a dishwasher so bring lots of paper plates! There was plenty of room and beds for our crew. Furnishings are worn and not real comfortable, but we didn’t spend much time inside. Great stay!

Beautiful Lake and cabin.

This cabin was clean and stocked well with everything you could possibly need. The lake is just beautiful with fishing piers, charcoal grill, nice deck and seating areas, a firepit, hammock and a large level lot. There is a closet full of games, movies, etc. for kids and adults. We have rented cabins in the Tomahawk area for many years and this was the best one we have been to. The owner was very nice and easy to work with. Our family had a great time.

Amazing cabin that covers all your needs

Our stay was amazing the cabin was super nice and clean. The garage was an awesome bonus as we were up ice fishing and could put all out gear in there overnight with atv so it wasnt left outside and didnt have to load into trucks each and every day. Property was extremely well managed even with feet of snow everything was cleared and ready for us when we arrived. We will be staying here again in the future !!

Home away from home...Seriously!

Adorable & cozy lil cabin tucked away in a secluded woody alcove. Gorgeous water front views with stunning sunrises & sunsets. Place has abundant amenities and close enough to town. Perfect cottage retreat!

Clean, comfortable cottage with everything you could ask for! Perfect location with the beauty of the river right there. My older kids had a blast with shore fishing, kayak, and fantastic outside space for games. We cooked onsite for majority of meals and truly, everything we needed and more in the kitchen. Fantastic experience. Would definitely come back and/or recommend to others!

Lake Alice stay

We loved staying at the Pine Rd. cottage. Lots of panfish caught from the docks! The kids had fun with the lily pad and kayaks. The grill and firepit were put to good use also. The kitchen is well equipped. We had trouble with the kitchen faucet and the owner was willing to send someone to fix it. Our one negative was a quite uncomfortable bed. Overall great stay!

Great Outdoor & Fishing Getaway

Walk out the deck facing the Wisconsin River and we were in awe. Definitely a little bit of heaven. If the weather would have cooperated a little better, we would have loved to enjoy the outdoor fire pit and charcoal grill. Fishing off the pier was great as well as sitting out on the back deck reading and enjoying family. The small house was clean with all necessities and perfect for a short stay (or long stay if you are able). Hope to be able to go again next year.

A wonderful stay! They thought of everything. We were extremely impressed. The only thing we needed to get was groceries. Everything else was provided. We completely felt at home. The only thing that could have made it better is it being my own place.

Father/Son trip

My son and I recently stayed at the property and couldn’t have been more pleased with our time there! Before we even arrived Sara was helpful and responsive to my inquiries. Although my son and I didn’t empty the lake as we hoped, we had a blast kayaking along the river, grilling on the back porch each night, and helping ourselves to the closet of games! It was definitely the inaugural trip of hopefully more to come. Although we didn’t leave with any trophy fish (or any fish for that matter), my son is convinced next time will be different!

Beautiful property on Wisconsin River

Husband and I loved being on the river, brought kayaks to paddle every day (they do provide 2 kayaks if needed). Just a short distance to Lake Alice. Saw deer across the river every evening. Great fire pit, nice walks to the end of pine road which is peaceful once you get away from Hwy A. 2 bars close by for dinner. Nice size bedrooms for large groups. Many updates to the cottage. The only negatives: oven was dirty and there is a stone/sand pit with loud machinery all day during the week. Those are minor issues. We loved our 3 night stay.

I went to high school in Tomahawk and love the Northwoods! This is my little get away from it all. I enjoy cross country skiing in the winter, sitting on the boat in the summer and everything else Tomahawk has to offer!
