TERRIFIC Thanksgiving gathering

The location was very convenient for the Fort Worth area. The house is very accommodating with good public areas and outside gathering spaces. We appreciated the variety of games available for the teens. We would suggest that grip bars be added in tubs/showers for safety equipment and night lights in bathrooms would be helpful. Auxiliary heat in the carriage house bathroom would be very appreciated b/c of the stone and tile floors. The auxiliary heat in the 1st floor bedroom was not working and the night was very chilly. The instructions were very clear and simple. The children all want to return for more good memories.

Amazing Hospitality

Our multi-generational family visited Fort Worth for the TCU-U of A football game. This was a perfect location from which to base our action packed weekend. The home was VERY well appointed for cooking breakfasts at home. We ate out for lunch and dinner but enjoyed coming back to the house and enjoying family game time each evening. Martha met us at. Heck in to share how to use the heat in each part of the house. We will be back to stay here because each couple /family had their own space and we also had lots of gathering space. Thank you for hosting our family!!

Perfect for a Work Retreat

We had a wonderful stay here for our HR Retreat. There was plenty of room for meetings and team building. The beds were comfortable and we were able to cook meals together and enjoy time together after "work." It was all perfect!

A&M Weekend

We had 19 in our group; all slept comfortably and the living spaces held everyone; the side yard with the gazebo provided room to unwind, relax, and play washers; the courtyard between the main house and the carriage house provided a great outdoor area.

Best Prodessional and Personal Get-Away

We loved this house and location! It's a very special historic house and very welcoming, as we're it's owners! We were a group of adults ranging from 40 to 55 and all Directors for a non- profit Board. We were able to have our personal space, socialize and cook together, but also have room to conduct an 8 hour Board Meeting. We were impressed at how well the house was stocked with everything from cooking seasonings, tin foil and baggies, soap coffee, pots and pans, etc. The beds were so comfortable and we were even able to enjoy the fire pit! Many in our group are morning walkers and enjoyed walking in the neighborhood. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and hope to return myself!!

The hosts were wonderful and very easy to communicate with. We stayed there for a conference and had multiple places for people to sleep. It was a cute place to stay in Fort Worth and definitely had that FW feel, which added to the experience. I recommend staying!

Great experience. Loved the house and the location, easy access to main roads and shopping/food as needed. Such a tranquil and beautiful place, relaxed us ALL getting ready for the big day which went off without a hitch. Had plenty of room for the kids bouncy house and the Taco Truck for the rehearsal.

Family house for wedding

Azalea Estate was perfect for our family to stay and gather before our daughter’s wedding in Fort Worth! It was great to have our entire family under one roof and to have the cottage for the bride to escape and have some privacy before the wedding. Azalea is warm and welcoming and includes everything needed for a stay! The owners were wonderful and met us at the house giving us a tour of how everything worked and how to use everything from wifi to the fire pit and outdoor lights. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated for our 4 year old to 91 year old crew! We used the house for the bridesmaids getting dressed and can’t wait to see photos taken of the bride and wedding party on the beautiful grounds! The spa tubs were perfect after a hectic weekend and the huge dining room was perfect for a post wedding brunch! This is such a gem in Fort Worth, convenient to downtown but out of the downtown hustle and bustle. If you’re looking for a large group to stay, you will love Azalea estate!!

Great experience

Martha and Lance’s B&B was absolutely perfect for our small wedding. The wedding package / decor they put together for us was beautiful. The house had absolutely everything we needed (and didn’t know we needed). We highly recommend staying here.

Martha has hosted guests from all over the world for 29 years offering true hospitality. Her son, Lance, is co-host for Historic Azalea Estate.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We loved this home and the grounds the minute we saw it. In fact, we bought it the next day! You feel taken away to another time and place while on the property! Proud to be a part of the up and coming River East development. In an older, transitioning neighborhood--3 lots, over 100 oaks trees feels like an oasis once you're on the property.

You will love the location of this home. So close to the center of Fort Worth, yet sitting in a neighborhood on almost 2 acres. The home is surrounded with huge oak trees and lush garden, park-like grounds.
