This is a beautiful home, and if they get the ants under control it can be a nice place to stay again. This was the second time we stayed here, and we chose to stay here the 2nd time because the first time everything was perfect. This time, we spent our entire vacation battling ants in the home, and it was not a pleasant stay at all. I hopeful they get this under control so that we can maybe one day stay here again.

The host was very good at communicating on the day of arrival. The place was very nice and clean. The couches had a few rips in it, and there were a couple of chipped tiles. Other than that, it was very well taken care of. Only thing you might want to be aware of if you are bringing dogs is that the dog run is a bit small and only accessible through a side gate. There is a a doggy door, but it is only large enough for a small to medium size dog. We had a great time. The location is pretty high up on a mountain side. We loved the upper deck where we could watch the sun rise in the morning.

Lovely Ruidoso rustic cabin was awesome!

Very clean property, well stocked! The home had plenty of room and was overall a great place to spend some relaxing family time. And the wildlife there was amazing. We saw Elk and tons of Mule Deer....absolutely stunning.
