Nytt till VRBO, denna charmiga, hundvänliga samtida med moderna bekvämligheter sover 10: helst 4-6 vuxna och barn. Perfekt för två familjer att dela. Denna 1800 kvadratmeter hem har 3-4 sovrum, 2-1 / 2 bad och ligger på en privat väg. Den generösa bakgården ger dina barn gott om utrymme att springa runt. På vintern snubblar snön på och ger en naturlig slädehöjd. Bäst runt!
Förtrollad plats ligger 12 minuter från skidbreen, och under fem minuter till sjön Sunapee och Perkins Pond. Under en månbelyst himmel, titta på stjärnorna från däcken. Bara 90 minuter från Boston.
Köket är fullt utrustat. Förutom de listade bekvämligheterna har köket en liten matberedare, en fransk press och en crockpot. Nytt expanderade däck (från november 2018) har en Weber kolgrill.
Wifi, internet och Comcast-kabel. 40 "UHD 4K LED smart TV med Bose soundbar. Ström från dina favoritappar. Gäst Netflix tillgänglig.

Huset ligger några minuter från Mt. Sunapee och en timmes bilresa till Okemo, VT. Ta Epic Pass och åka skidor båda bergen, plus Stowe (1 timme 50 minuters bilresa).
Under vintermånaderna är ett fordonshjul med snödäck ett måste. Sunapee har några branta kullar, och när det snöar behöver du hjul med bra dragkraft.

Beautiful House, Tranquil Setting

We enjoyed a terrific two week stay! The deck is awesome and the mountain views are spectacular. The location is perfect and within close proximity to shopping and restaurants as well as the lake. The house and kitchen are well equipped and the main living area is a perfect size for gathering as a family. We will definitely return!

Something for All

This comfortable house had the right mix of bedrooms and bathrooms for our group. Skiiers had Sunapee, hikers had lots of trails to choose from, we all had nice evenings around the fire having family style dinner.

Spring Wedding

Wonderful stay in Sunapee. We visited for a family wedding atop Mt. Sunapee and enjoyed it immensely. Sheryl was wonderful to work with, very responsive. We had 6 adults in the home with no issues, everything we needed was available. Would highly recommend this home for vacations!

Comfortable house at a great location

The property is very clean and well equipped. The location is excellent, with lots of opportunities for hiking. Access to the small beach at 5 minutes drive is a nice bonus. The newly installed AC keeps the house comfortable even when it is very hot (temperatures reached the 90's when we were there). The owner is super responsive. We stayed here with our 3 college-aged children and had a fantastic time. We already booked for next year!

Enjoyed our ‘full nest’

We had a great time with our adult kiddos who each carved out 2 weeks to spend with mom and dad! The home was perfect for our family of 5 with each kid having their own room. The kitchen is well stocked with any tool you may need and the wood burning stove is a great way to heat the house. Mount Sunapee is only 15 min away and we skied every day. Okemo is an hour drive as well. The wifi works great, but if you have multiple zoom calls at once it does get a little glitchy but nothing we couldn’t deal with. Loved it!

Wonderful Stay

We stayed here for 2 weeks over Christmas. The house was very cozy. The beds and the furniture were very comfortable. It was well stocked with everything we needed for our vacation. The location is centrally located to several places, it was within 1 to 2 hours from Chester and Woodstock Vermont, and Boston and Salem, Massachusetts. Close by is the quaint town of Sunapee, it has a lot of little shops and good restaurants. The view of the mountains is amazing, especially when it snows. The host, Sheryl was very welcoming and even had a gift bag waiting for us when we arrived. She had wonderful recommendations for restaurants and places to visit.I would highly recommend this house.

Sibling Reunion

This was a wonderful place to reunite with siblings, which we've made a point to try to do annually. It's so peaceful and quiet here, and plenty of room to spread out. I would suggest letting people know to bring their own streaming apps for the TV. The owner was very responsive to our questions while we visited. We would recommend this to others!

August 28, 2022 - Great place to stay!

The house was clean and had everything we needed. We even cooked in a couple of nights. The yard was great for the dogs! The proximity to the lake, the mountains and some shopping was great too and still felt private and quiet on the dirt road off the main roads. It was such a relaxing, peaceful week. Sheryl was a great host! Thank you!

Perfect!

This was a perfect home for exploring the Sunapee region and beyond. The house was clean, spacious and supplied with all of the basics and more. We had such a lovely vacation. The gated deck was nice for our pup to survey the yard.

Second stay was great again

We came back for a second year and had a wonderful time again. The house was even better with the new couches and gas grill. It is very well equipped and clean. The nearby beach is cozy and the area is excellent for hiking. New London is close by for restaurants and shop, including a large Hanna-fords supermarket. Highly recommended!

Going home

I chose this area of New Hampshire because my parents used to live in New London. I had not been back to the area for about 10 years. My children grew up visiting the area and we were looking to rekindle those memories. Sheryl was very easy to work with and her home was perfect for our purposes. We visited old and new sites, fell in love with Dewey Beach, took two tours around Lake Sunapee on the M.S. Mt. Sunapee, visited wineries, at at Tucker’s and so much more. I did not want to leave.

Cozy cottage

The view is beautiful from the the entire backside of this home. Practical housing for different guests on different floors. Lake Sunapee area is both beautiful and charming.

Fantastic spot at Sunapee

We had an amazing stay at Sheryl’s place. The house is great - it is clean, well laid out and well equipped with a great view of the mountain. The detail Sheryl puts into it is evident in things like how well stocked it is and the wealth of information that is provided both about the house and the area. We stayed here with two families and our dogs - four adults and four kids ages 3-11 and it was perfect for our group with plenty of room. We had to skip skiing at the mountain (easy 10 minutes away) one day and had a great time sledding in the backyard. You can also tell that the deck and backyard would be a great spot in the summer. In general everything we needed in the area was no more than 10-15 minutes away. Sheryl was great and stayed in touch before, during and after. The check-in and check-out processes were clear and expedient. We are definitely going to stay at Sheryl’s place again!

Wonderful Ski Getaway

The property is conveniently located near Mt Sunapee (10min) and is very clean. This was perfect for our family of four and dog. Sheryl checked in with us several times and was an excellent host. The beds were very comfortable (important for my back) and the kitchen was well stocked. The woodstove was one of the best I have ever used and access to garage parking was very nice. The couch was on the older side but other than that the house was perfect for our family. Can't wait to rebook!

Sheryl's place is one of it not the best place I've ever rented. Her attention to detail for the renters is really special. She doesn't scrimp on amenities and truly wants you to have a pleasant stay while you are at the house. This is our second stay at the house. Our first was in April 2020. Since the first stay -which was wonderful- she's actually added even more amenities- she even added a desk with a large monitor for people needing to work! I wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending this place. It's comfy, has plenty of space, is perfectly situated from town, and is great for a short or long stay. We came back, so it tells you something about the house and our experience. Wonderful experience all around!

Great stay for a larger group or family

Comfortable house, clean, well equipped kitchen, amazing stove to heat the house with a huge stack of wood. Sweet welcome basket and good communication with owner. Great stay overall, beds (mattresses) are a bit uncomfortable though.

Peaceful and cozy retreat

We had a wonderful family vacation at Sheryl’s Sunapee Guesthouse. The views are breathtaking, the location is ideal (a little bit country but not too far from the lakes and Mt Sunapee), and the house itself is perfectly cosy. Sheryl was very responsive, informative, and left many thoughtful things (and tips) around the house to make us comfortable. My husband and our two young sons had a really great time. Thank you Sheryl!

Wonderful stay

Great property, lot, and location. Access to Dewey Beach was fantastic, close to Sunapee Harbor, and a short drive to state park. Yard is well-maintained and fun to play in - and deer, turkeys, and other critters pass by your deck.

Our COVID Winter Getaway

I rented Sheryl's home for 6 weeks this winter to have a place to go with family given COVID restrictions. We had a wonderful time. We are a multi-generational family ranging from ages 3 -67 years that enjoys skiing, hiking, and cross country skiing. The house works great for 2 families and was totally workable when all 9 of us were there. Living area is spacious, kitchen and dining area very well equipped for family meals and dining. Downhill skiers skied at Sunapee, Okemo, and Whaleback (a great low cost option for new skiiers). We discovered many dog-friendly cross country and hiking options. The location is terrific and very close to Sunapee and multiple other conservation lands. Sheryl was a great host - always available with questions. Would definitely recommend.

I’m a freelance journalist, adjunct professor and vacation host maven. In my leisure hours, I like to paint furniture, cook and entertain, photograph landscapes and cityscapes, read books with good character development, and pursue outdoor activities. I discovered Sunapee, NH in the late 90s for its hiking and ski trails, as well as the famous League of NH Crafts Fair. Sunapee is not far from Greater Boston, but a world apart in culture. For one thing, there are no mega-resorts trampling its quiet beauty. But it’s not so tranquil that if your car gets stuck in a snow bank, you feel alone. Because wouldn’t you know it: a local with a pickup truck and chains is likely to drive by and pull you out of dire straits.

I bought this home in the early 2000s. Its presence sets the stage for either a quiet respite or a spirited get-together with family and friends. Now I enjoy sharing it with others so they can create their own version of bliss. I use it solely as a vacation rental property. In the off seasons, family members go up for an occasional weekend, but do not leave any personal belongings there.
