The Rock House - Semesterbostad i Salem Missouri

Välkommen till Salem Missouri! Kom och ta i Ozarks skönhet! Vi ligger nära Ozark National Scenic Riverways, ca 2 timmar söder om St. Louis. Montauk State Park ligger 35 minuter söder och är en av Missouri främsta öring fiske parker. Örsäsongen öppnar i mars och går igenom oktober. Vintern stöder på att fånga och släppa program.
Echo Bluffs, den nyaste av Missouri State Parks ligger 32 miles söder om Highway 19.
Vårt två sovrum Little Rock hus har ett stort sovrum med bifogat bad och queen size-säng. Ett andra kontor / extra rum Har en dubbel bäddsoffa. Little Rock-huset är utrustat med handdukar, lakan, kaffekanna, brödrost, mikrovågsugn och alla köksbehov (ledsen, ingen diskmaskin).

Country Comfort

Perfect accommodations in a small town setting. Clean, comfortable and well appointed. Host is excellent in making sure all the details are thought out down to the snack basket in the kitchen. Quiet setting and beautiful night skies.

Quiet & cozy place to stay

Next time I am in Salem, I’m staying here again. The lady who runs this house was very easy to contact for any questions. She is more than accommodating and responds very fast. The bed is comfortable, the shower stays nice and hot. Easy access to everything in town. A very cozy place to be.

What a cute place!

We stayed at Rock House for a Fort Leonard Wood graduation. It was perfect. We wanted to stay somewhere pretty that wasn't a hotel. This place was great for 3 adults. Thank you!

Lovely, clean, and central

My husband and I were in the area for some fishing and floating on the Current River. The Rock House suited our needs perfectly, as it allowed us a bit of comfort at the end of the day, a place to cook our meals, and a nearby array of restaurants and stores. The cottage, which has been renovated very well, is adorable and we enjoyed our 3-night stay. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sandy and her cottage to our friends.

Hidden Gem

The pictures do not do this little cottage justice. It is immaculately maintained and stocked with everything you could possibly need. I found the decor charming. It has a beautiful big lawn in the back with a deck to watch the fireflies in the evening. I will definitely be back when I am in the area.

A surprising gem

This little house is a gem: a charming, beautifully restored 19th century cottage. Everything in the house is comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. Think hobbit house, if the hobbits hired Martha Stewart. We stayed two nights, as a stop over during a long road trip, and it was nearly perfect. Highly recommended.

Probably the best placed I have stay in southern Missouri for my fishing trip. The house has a lot to offer for its size. This place should be the place of places when going to southern Missouri to fish located from all the streams. Just in awe that this place exists. My husband and I retired after 33 years in the Military and decided Salem was the right fit for us. The rock house started out as a get-away while we were working, and a place in the summer to persue his fly-fishing passion. I visited in the summers here in Salem with my Grandma, Aunts, Uncles and cousins, so it has always been my second home. I love to travel, buy houses (it’s an addiction) decorate and keep up with the Grandkids! My husband is Mr. Fix-It, and together we have made a special place for you to come and relax.

This property was a mess when we bought it. It took us 3 years, little by little, to get it back in shape. The house was built somewhere in the 1800’s and once was a part of a 1,500 acre parcel. No records on exactly when the home was built could be located. This is a unique property- old on the outside and remodeled on the inside. Just perfect if you have a little “Farmhouse Chic” in your soul.
