Waves Edge North med sina välvda tak och en mur av fönster leder inuti och ger dig en fantastisk utsikt över Mexikanska golfen. Repeat Visitors - Will Keep Vacationing Here!

We love Waves Edge North and Anna Maria Island. This is our second time staying at this property, and when we arrived, it felt like coming home. It is the perfect set-up for a family and the accessibility to the beach is unbelievable. I highly recommend staying here when visiting AMI!

Beautiful view, close to the beach. Well equipped kitchen. Beds were very comfortable. Having a pool was nice. It is a shared pool and porch somewhat separated. We had a very nice group next to us. Thank you again it was wonderful

House on the beach

We loved our stay on Anna Maria Island. The house was just as it was pictured and it was lovely to just walk out onto the beach. Nicky was very easy to communicate with and we had no issues at all!

Wonderful Vacation in the Perfect Beach House

Waves Edge North is the perfect beach house for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful view of the Gulf. Our group from Oklahoma had never been to Anna Maria Island and we enjoyed every moment spent watching the birds and dolphins, sitting by the pool and exploring the island. The house is comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. It is located on a quiet street where you feel isolated from the hustle & bustle of the traffic throughout the busy island. We can’t wait to return to paradise next year.

Beautiful beach place

The location of this beach place was absolutely perfect. It was a cute, clean, beach place right on the beach. The pool was nice too! The owner was so friendly and communicated with us. She even left a welcome present, as well as spices and condiments for us upon our arrival. It was also well stocked for cooking. We will definitely look to stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Waves Edge. The weather did not cooperate but the property was beautiful and Nicky was absolutely the best and made us feel right at home. I also really loved the location of this property for it's proximity to everything and also the fact it was not on a main road. Would highly recommend

Great location, pool disappointing

Property itself is very pretty and the location is perfect. On our last stay we spent a lot of time in the pool. It was too cold this time, although you pay more for a pool..just couldn't use it. .

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review Janet and it was a pleasure to welcome you back for the second time. We are obviously disappointed that we went from 5* last year to 3* this year due to the temperature of the pool. The pool heater was checked twice during your stay, there were no error messages and it was working. As you know it was an exceptionally cold week for the time of the year with overnight temperatures dropping right down and as we explain in our listing if this occurs then the pool heater will not bring the temperature up to 85 degrees. Just a note that we do not charge extra for the pool or pool heat. We want all our guests to have a wonderful experience as we truly value your business so I am sorry that on this occasion the unusually cold weather caused a problem.

We are very fortunate to find this gem!

This was thee perfect spot. Quiet, beautiful setting, beach is perfect, sunsets are gorgeous, pool is very clean. The house is clean, very comfortable furniture close to everything you would want or need. Communication with management was great and the cake and champagne that was left in our fridge was delicious!! So inviting. Just really can’t say enough good about this place. I really want to take my husband soon.

The property was lovely! Heated pool, walk out to the beach, quiet, well stocked kitchen. Host was very nice, champagne, welcome card and cake in the refrigerator on arrival. However the deck is way over due for replacement, boards warped, alot of rot and termite damage. That's the only negative I have on the property.

Amazing location and view

I have been renting in Holmes Beach from the mid 1980's, and Waves Edge North has the best location and view of the beach. The accommodations were comfortable and clean. The VRBO host, Nicky, was very informative and helpful. For future renters, however, please be aware of the following: leave all food either in fridge or oven to keep away from mice; the hot/cold faucet in the guest shower is plumbed backwards; the coffee maker is broken, the ice maker is broken, and the guest toilet sometimes doesn't flush. We have never experienced any of these issues in our other rentals, but again, the location is superb!

Hi Bill, Thank you so much for reviewing your stay and it was lovely to hear from you when you left that you would like to stay again. We looked for signs of a mouse after you left and could fine none but we do ask guests to keep the doors closed and put food away as you will always find mice out near the beach. We came out to the house as soon as you called us about the shower as you said there was no hot water in that bathroom. We had asked you on the phone which way your were turning it and you told us you had tried both ways but in fact when we got there you had not turned it the right way. Once that was established I believe you had plenty of hot water. The coffee maker seems strange as it is working just fine when we ran it after your stay and other guests are using it too - it is quite new. but we will certainly keep an eye on it. The ice maker too is also almost new and seems to be just fine but there are also always ice trays in the freezer for guests to use as previously this fridge did not have an ice maker. The handle on the guest toilet has to be held down to flush deeply - I will certainly put a sign on it. I appreciate that it isn't always easy to get used to a new house in a short period of time and I will certainly take your comments onboard and see if we could leave any signs that would clarify how things work more clearly. We wish you all the very best going forward.

Private but not remote

We enjoyed the convenience of the location and nearness to the beach. Plenty of supplies in the kitchen and bathrooms. There are a few safety issues … splinters from the decking, uneven step/trip hazard on steps down from porch to pool, no handrail to assist getting in to pool. The nice touches like the orchid, wine and fancy cake were appreciated but save that money and put it toward new toilet plumbing and balancing the AC system. Our granddaughter learned to swim in your perfectly sized clean and pretty pool.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review Carolyn. We do encourage guests to contact us with any issues and wish you had reached out to us while staying. When you left we found the toilet plunger left next to the toilet which we then found to be blocked and we would have been happy to come and unblock it for you as it is an easy fix.. The plumbing is to code and the steps down to the pool were replaced with new a couple of years ago. The wooden deck goes with the territory of a beach house that sits in the full sun - unfortunately composite decking would be extremely hot to touch. All feedback is gratefully received as we want all our guests to have a wonderful vacation and we do address any issues that are bought to our attention. It was so great to hear that Liora perfected her swimming.

Beautiful getaway

The property was spotless upon arrival. Just the right size for the five of us, not too big not too small. Being steps from the beach was wonderful with a small child, we could go back and forth between the beach and the pool. The house is very close to the grocery store and Manatee beach has a nice outdoor beach eating breakfast/lunch place that we visited often. We were a bit hesitant to book because of having to share a pool with the neighbors, but they were so nice and we had a lovely time. The house is cute and the decor is beach themed. Great big windows for beautiful ocean views from the kitchen and living room. One thing to note is there is no railing to get in and out of the pool, so if you have an elderly or handicap person with you, they may have difficulty getting in and out of the pool. We will absolutely be coming back to this house in the future, loved our stay, and the property manager Nicky was so nice and quick to respond.

AWESOME LOCATION

Right on the beach with an easy walk through the finest white sand imaginable. The view was incredible. Sunrise was cool but the sunset, epic. Close to the trolly line, grocery store, Walgreens and (beach walking) distance to two bar/restaurants North and South. This part of the beach was never crowded and we always had room to spread out without someone right on top of us. The grill allowed us to cook some meals at the property and there were plenty of dishes and cookware to accommodate. This does have a full kitchen and all appliances. It also had a washer and dryer that came in handy. The pool was very nice and warmer than the mid-March Gulf. We had very friendly neighbors while we were there and there were never any issues with any of the facilities or pool use. The deck is in need of some TLC, and would recommend not walking barefoot. That's the only negative, truly.

Holmes Beach Heaven

We love AMI and this property is on a beautiful part of the beach. The house is very accommodating with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. It also has a loft area if needed. The kitchen is fully stocked with essentials. The champagne and cake in the fridge was a special welcome! The listing is just as described with a nice laundry room available to use. Beach essentials were available such as towels and an assortment of beach chairs, umbrellas, floats, sand toys, etc. Great location for all areas of the island. The walk to the water is maybe 50 steps and your toes are in the sand right at the gate! It's so nice and peaceful. If we had another family traveling with us, we would definitely rent here again and also rent the property adjoining. The pool is a shared space (which is clearly stated) but it was a bit awkward when we sat on our porch/patio. With the pool right below us and the other renters utilizing the pool almost the entire time, it lacked privacy. We go for the beach though so it wasn't horrible but we didn't sit on the porch as much. We just took chairs down to the beach more! It's a great place and we created special memories there. The host is a fast communicator and has all the perfect touches to make it feel comfy and cozy!

Loved it

Nice stay in beautiful Holmes Beach. Perfect location, nice amenities in the home. Would be fun to go with another family and rent both sides. Didn’t bother us to share the pool, it was never an issue. Nicky left us the most delicious cake as a welcome gift. Our daughter cried when we had to go home. That’s a sign of a good trip!
