Namnet på vår stuga säger allt "Anglers Hideaway". Köpt och förvaltas av två college kompisar som har varit flugfiske tillsammans över femton år, är den här egenskapen det perfekta stället att komma bort från allt och göra vissa fiske. Beläget på den vackra Hiwassee River i sydöstra Tennessee, är denna stuga nära till alla åtgärder. Tjugo minuter söder och du kan forsränning på Ocoee River. Trettio minuter norr kan du fiska den berömda Tellico floden i Tellico Plains, TN. Eller så kan du bara stanna på Hiwassee River samtidigt forsränning och fiske! Oavsett dina dagliga aktiviteter innebär, du kan lita på en sak; På kvällen vid stugan kommer att bli oförglömlig. Koppla av i en gungstol på verandan, eller planera en cookout använder grillen. Inuti hittar du ett fullt utrustat kök, tvättstuga, matsal, stort loft på övervåningen och ett vardagsrum för avkoppling insidan. Kolla in våra bilder och komma se vår Hideaway.

Rafting: Vi har information om forsränning världsklass Ocoee River som ligger bara några minuter från stugan. Vi har också information om forsränning Hiwassee floden som är där stugan ligger. Du hittar klass 5 forsar på Ocoee medan Hiwassee är en klass 2.

Öring Fiske fisk Hiwassee floden. Flera miles av öring fiske, guider finns med Hiwassee Outfitters. Eller fiska Tellico River bara några minuter upp vägen i Tellico Plains.

Sight Seeing: Motorcyklar är välkomna och uppmuntras att komma och njuta av den vackra naturen runt Cherokee National Forest. Det finns en vingård på Hwy 411 och en många områden för en söndag enhet för bladen av hösten.

Loved it!

This was a great place to stay, if you have a pet or kids, they will enjoy the creek, fishing, and playing in the yard. There is a big picnic area within a 100 ft of the cabin, the lake is also there (huge area), and fish were seen.

Great Location/Great Cabin

We rented the cabin to fish the river all weekend. You could walk up the "other" side of the river and fish with no other fishing pressure or drive across the bridge to fish the more commonly fished side. The cabin had everything we needed and the communication with the owners was great. The creek next to the cabin was a really nice bonus. Lots of space for your fishing gear and to relax. We got a visit from our newest friend "Duke", a yellow lab that visited us one night. Rent this cabin for fishing, tubing, or disconnecting from it all and you will be most pleased.

Great cabin!

We had a great time staying at this property. Spent most of our time soaking up the awesome nature outside, but the cabin was everything advertised. Property manager was very communicative and quick to respond to our questions.

Great Weekend Getaway for our family

Great place for a family trip

We love staying here! The location is perfect for enjoying the river. You can walk to the outfitters to pick up your raft. The outfitters take you up to the river and drop you off, then you raft back down and walk back to the cabin. No need to even get in your car. The kitchen is very well stocked with all of the dishes and small appliances you might need. There are games and books for the kids. The beds and sheets are soft and comfortable. The creek right outside is the perfect spot for the kids to play. The fire pit is great for s'mores and playing horseshoes. The owners are great with communication. Note that there is no internet or cell service (we have Verizon), but there is a landline in case of emergencies. We love going there to unplug from technology. You can tell that it is an older cabin, but it is so cozy and you feel right at home. We've stayed here multiple times, we love it, and we'll be back again soon!

Our favorite summer getaway!

Perfect place to turn off and relax. We played cards on the covered patio, kayaked down the Hiawassee River, watch the river rise in the morning, etc. it was lovely! We try to go back each summer.

Great location by the river!

We love staying here at the cabin, this will be our third time visiting! It is within walking distance of the Hiwassee River so if you kayak or fish, this is the house for you! There is plenty of room for two families to spread out and the kitchen is pretty well stocked with everything you need to cook with. The BBQ grill needs to be replaced as all the burners did not work and there are places in the house that need updating and repaired. All in all it’s a fantastic place to unwind and get away from it all!

another year at anglers hideaway

Everything was up to par as always. The only complaint was that, for the first time staying here, the grill did not work. The burners on the propane grill did no t work properly so you were unable to use it. Made cooking very difficult.

Quiet paradise

We love staying here. It's so quiet and the sounds of the brook makes you relax. Kayaking at the Hiawassee Outfitters was so much fun, we did it several days.

Great time away!

We always have a great time at this cabin. Everything is clean and we love the outside space. Building a fire by the creek has to be our favorite part!
