Fullt ombyggd år 2017, har denna charmiga och rymliga mysiga stuga (The Lookout) så mycket att erbjuda. Koppla av i din privata badtunna i trädgården lusthus, inbäddat i träden. Utanför omlindningsdäcket i det varmare vädret kan du njuta av att använda grillen med solstolar som omger en ny gasbrandkälla. Förbered en fest eller enkel måltid i det rymliga köket inuti med alla bekvämligheter - diskmaskin, mikrovågsugn, bondgårdssäng och stort kylskåp. Efter middagen, njut av en varm, knäckande eld i vedeldingen (ta med egna Presto-loggar! :). Tillbringa morgonen i läshaken med en kopp kaffe gjord av Keurig-maskinen (medlevererade skivor!), eller titta på en ny film som du har streamat online med Fiber Optic WiFi. Cozy Mountain Home

Relaxing Quiet Getaway

Very well appointed cabin. Super clean, well equipped, comfortable beds/bedding, and close to many recreational activities year round. We had a great time enjoying the hot tub, walks in the neighborhood, games, and just spending time together. We are very thankful for the opportunity to stay at the Lookout Cabin...good times!

Spring vacation.

We loved the cabin! Super comfy and cozy! Shauna was very responsive when we needed a new propane bottle for the grill. If we go back to the Leavenworth area we will definately stay here.

Perfect Spot for Forest Bathing + Rejuvenation

Booked this spot as a place to unwind, disconnect + not have to bring too much with us + it did not disappoint. We’ve been burned in the past with amenities that didn’t match, but this treehouse is as described. Enjoyed the amount of games + distractions included + the serene setting. The hot tub was lovely, but in case it’s not obvious, there are stairs up to the hot tub. I don’t say this about many spots, but I’d come back.

Cozy cabin vibes!

Great stay! The home is cozy and definitely has the cabin vibe we were looking for. There was plenty of room for our party of 4 to kick back and relax and we spent most our time outside on the deck. Location was spot on for what our plans were. Hosts were super responsive and overall made the stay feel comfortable. We felt like we were staying at a friends cabin.

Perfect getaway

The property is in a great location - close to Plain and Leavenworth. We appreciated being amongst the trees and having everything we needed in the cabin. Having a fire, watching movies, and relaxing after a day of skiing was perfect. If you are there to x-country ski, you are very close to one of the trailheads.

Wonderful Vacation Getaway

Beautifully kept home, it has everything you could ever need. The jaccuzi was so great to come to after spending the day in the snow. Great for kids, and dogs. Shauna is an amazing host. Extremely prompt with email responses to any and all of my queries. Can't wait to go back!

Exactly what my family needed after the hectic holidays!

The cabin is perfect. From the moment we arrived it felt like home. It is nicely decorated but livable. Everything you need is there. Our family(teenagers included) played board games, watched movies, read and napped. The cabin is spacious and gave everyone their own space but still felt cozy. We will definitely be back in the summer.

Beautiful home nestled amid Ponderosa pines

A lovely comfortable home surrounded by nature. Plenty of room and creature comforts for family of four in need of a rest and a big dose of nature. House layout perfect for family time, cooking, games and restful sleep. Hot tub perched in the pines with view of the stars. Highly recommend this home! Wonderful winter getaway

A great place to escape for a long weekend. Very central location for hiking, Lake Wenatchee and Leavenworth. The house was spacious but cozy with lots of great kitchen tools for our thanksgiving get-a-way. Our pup enjoyed curling up in front of the wood stove and the cute little pup-friendly touches around the house (food/water bowls and mat, leash hook, dog gate for the deck). The beds were very comfortable and the rooms very spacious. Our group felt like everyone had their own private space. Shauna was very quick and helpful to respond to any questions we had. We will definitely be back, hopefully with snow next time!

Relaxing getaway in the trees!!!

We headed up to The Lookout for a weekend getaway... a much needed getaway. Our first impression was really great... beautiful interior, gorgeous floors and a lovely modern rustic twist. I don't think the pictures do it justice, its so much better than the pics (which are actually pretty nice)!!! The air was fresh and the breeze was amazing... WE enjoyed BBQing in the trees on the lovely deck... I could BBQ there everyday!!! The Lookout had everything that we could possibly need. Shauna was very very communicative and I appreciate all her help with some questions I had. Thank you for everything! We hope to come back some day! :)

Great family getaway

We spent a fabulous week at the cabin with our two girls (5 and 8) and our golden retriever. The girls loved playing Mario Kart, running around Leavenworth, and having a nice week away from the rest of society. There was more snow in the mountains than I expected for early April but sitting in the hot tub at night more than made up for it. Shauna was a fantastic, responsive host and everything we needed was right there. The kitchen is well-stocked, there are plenty of games inside, a myriad of activities to do outside, and everything felt like a home away from home. Plus, you’ll get the occasional visit from wild turkeys (the non-alcoholic kind). Lake Wenatchee is a 10 minute drive away and Leavenworth about 30. Overall, a great experience for a family adventure. Thank you for everything!

Wedding weekend

We had a wedding to attend near by and enjoyed the house's location to both the event and Leavenworth. The house was is very cute and well maintained. The only downside is the upstairs bathroom shower was not working so we all had to use the shower downstairs. Not ideal for 4 adults getting ready at the same time, but understand it's what happens with older homes. I do think a complaint about a VRBO stays in general is the requirement to take off linens and cleaning prior to leaving. When you get charged a cleaning fee and you're paying more than a hotel, often times, why are you asked to clean before you leave? I don't mind if you're staying at someone's house, but when you're paying approximately 400+ a night, taking linens off beds should be done by cleaning staff not the paying guests.

Amazing family cabin!

This cabin exceeded our expectations! It is so charming and everything we needed was there. It was super clean inside and had enough beds to accommodate 4 adults and our 3 kids, but it actually has another pull out trundle for a 8th person! It is a open concept on the bottom floor so as I was cooking, the kids played games on the table while hubby and brother played wii in living room.....but we were all able to talk and see one another. It was perfect for our family getaway. We BBQ’d on the deck, sat by the fire table in the evening while enjoying the view of trees, and also enjoyed the HUGE hot tub at night. Loved the lights in it! It is on a upper area of the deck and amazing, it is actually the biggest hot tub we’ve seen at any cabin! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, we had plenty of towels, there is a washer/dryer if you need it, and the kids loved the variety of games that were there. We also loved that chair swing on the porch so much I have to find one for our house! Shauna is super nice, easy to book and responds right away to booking request and any questions I had. We will surely be back! We’ve always stayed at hotels in Leavenworth which was great, but after this cabin experience....this is the way to go!!

Decent stay

Pics definitely made it look nicer, bigger and newer. Mouse deterrents in pretty much every outlet was a turn off. Could've been cleaner for my liking. Asking us to do laundry was weird. It served it's purpose for our trip

Wonderful getaway

I work 7 days a week all year long. Once in awhile I need to escape. I’m so glad I found this place. Just what was needed. Definitely will be back! Highly recommend this cabin to anyone.

We are a family of 3 from Everett/Mukilteo, WA. Our son is 17 and loves it here at the cabin! I'm a Canadian who married an American from Montana. My husband Tim is an engineer. I teach English as a Second Language to immigrants and refugees at a local college.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We chose this property in the Leavenworth area because there is so much to do here! The cabin is a 10 minute drive from Lake Wenatchee, the quaint and central Plain hardware store, and Plain Cellars winery. It's also only 30 minutes from Leavenworth and Steven's Pass. In the winter, we are able to snowmobile, snowshoe, and cross country ski directly from the cabin with access to the Wenatchee national forest just down the street. So fun and very convenient! In the summer we bicycle right from the cabin and head into the forest service trails. There are an abundance of hiking trails in the area as well. In Autumn the leaf colors are amazing as well. We also love looking in all the fun shops of Leavenworth, and getting ice cream with my son. We chose the cabin because from the first time I entered it, it reminded me of my childhood cabin--it had that cabin-y cedar smell and looked so cozy and welcoming.

We love the cabin look with walls made of pine, and the modern, clean look of the kitchen/living room area. Also attractive to us is the welcoming
wrap-around deck with 3 seating areas (we added a fire pit, too, to be used in spring and fall!), and the gazebo-style hot tub and peaceful setting in the trees.
