InbÀddat pÄ tre tunnland skogsmark, Àr detta Edgartown pÀrla bara tvÄ hundra fot frÄn cykelvÀgen pÄ vingÄrden Haven vÀg, en mil frÄn centrum av staden och 1/2 mil frÄn State Beach. En snabb promenad eller cykeltur och du Àr shopping i vackra butiker, surfa pÄ konstgallerier, eller titta pÄ berömda fudge fattandet pÄ Murdick s fudge. Ligg pÄ sanden pÄ den familjevÀnliga State Beach eller gÄ vindsurfing i den intilliggande bukten. Efter det roliga, kan du ÄtergÄ till vÄr hÀrliga getaway och aldrig se eller höra andra turister nÀr du kopplar eller grillning pÄ dÀck omgiven av en trÀdgÄrd.

Huset Àr utrustat med ett modernt kök, ett vardagsrum och matsal (vardera i rÀt vinkel mot dÀck med skjutbara glasdörrar) och ett stort allrum som fungerar som ett extra sovrum. Dessutom finns fyra solbelyst, luftiga sovrum (en trappa ner, 3 pÄ övervÄningen), som omfattar sex enkelsÀngar, och tvÄ drottning storlek sÀngar. Det finns tvÄ badrum och en tvÀttstuga med tvÀttmaskin och torktumlare. Huset Àr ljusa och bekvÀma, med massor av sol som tillhandahÄlls av tvÄ takfönster.

Perfekt för familjer, par eller vÀnner som reser tillsammans. Alla vÄra gÀster har funnit att detta Àr ett mycket speciellt öhem.

Great vacation in a wonderful place

The property and property owners were terrific, exactly as described. Close to everything but tucked away to relax in private.

Great location

We loved being able to walk/bike everywhere but then retreat to the woods. House was just as advertised: very homey and comfortable. Deck was particularly lovely. Would rent again.

Vacation and Wedding week

The house is cozy set in a tree covered lot. It has pleasant living spaces, and a well equipped kitchen. The house has nice character including exposed ceiling beams in the living room. The Vrbo photos did not do it justice. The location worked well for us, just off a bike path and an easy walk to downtown Edgartown. There is also a supermarket and some restaurants within a few block walk.

Martha’s Vineyard

The house was clean and organized, but missing items for a care free stay. It is in a convenient location near edgartown with access to shops and food. The rental did not mention a carriage house on the property, which was occupied during our stay. Overall for the value, it was satisfactory.

Cottage in the woods

What a great location! Set in the woods but walkable to everything you need! Plenty of sleeping arrangements
2 big rooms on the first floor and 3 smaller ones upstairs. This was a cute, quaint, well loved cottage that had everything we needed for a lovely stay. We spent a lot of time on the beautiful new deck soaking in the sun. Seeing the original bones of the house, and imagining what it used to be like years ago was neat, seemed very historic. We would absolutely stay here again! Clean and cozy. (We traveled with 6 adults, a 5yo, 3yo, and 11mo.)

Family vacay

I loved this house! I felt this was a perfect location for us, nice and quiet and the WiFi was great (we have teenagers so that’s a plus)! The one drawback there was only one TV and it was the TV was in one of the 1st floor bedrooms, not the living room. There were two full bathrooms and 5 bedrooms! One bedroom had multiple sleeping options too which was awesome! Definitely coming back! The owners were in contact with us and ready to help if we couldn’t get off the island due to hurricane Henri.

Great location but house needs work.

The house is spacious and located in a fantastic spot super close to all Edgartown has to offer. The owner seemed very honest and was very kind. That's the good news. The bad news is the house is in need of a deep cleaning and basic maintenance. The house was advertised as having AC but when we arrived, we immediately realized that wasn't the case. We hit a super warm week on MV and the rooms upstairs in the house reached the upper 80s. Not ideal when traveling with an infant. Two of the fans provided with the house were broken as was the microwave. Upon informing the owner, he apologized, said the AC listing was an error and offered to reimburse us if we purchased new fans and a microwave. There were many other issues with the house (broken shower door, sink not working properly, too many to list). If you are a family with small children, it's probably not the house for you in it's current condition. I think the owner means well and with the proper improvements, the house could be great.

Exactly what we needed in the right location

This house was great for our group of two families (4 adults and 4 kids). We had plenty of space with the bedrooms and loved the living space connected to the kitchen. The house had everything we needed to enjoy our full week on Martha’s Vineyard. Probably the best part for us was the location because it was close to the bike rental shop, bike paths/trails, close to Edgartown but off the beaten path with a little quiet privacy. It was a great homebase and a wonderful place to stay for our first visit to the Vineyard. The Owner/manager was very fast to communicate with and very accommodating. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future, especially since the price point was better than most places on the island.

Great Host

We absolutely loved the location of the home. Close enough to walk to town or to the beach and far enough away from busy streets and noise. Convince stores were at the end of the road it was so easy. The house was comfortable but not gorgeous which is perfect for a vacation with no worries. The property manager was available at all times. We only had one issue, lack of beach chairs and he had us buy what we needed and reimbursed us immediately. It was a great vacation and we definitely recommend this home to those on a budget and looking for the best.

Great for families!

We liked the secluded location, bedroom layout which promoted good sleep for 4 adults and 3 young kids, and rustic charming feel. Host Eric was responsive to our needs and even arranged a pack n’ play rental last minute! We would stay again in the future, thank you!

Quiet home on 3 acres but near town and all necessary stores, example Stop and Shop supermarket. Near bike path and walking distance to Edgartown harbor. Beaches are easily accessed by foot, bike or car. All visitors have to do is relax and enjoy.

Quiet, nature, dining room and living room look out on deck and trees. Basketball hoop for those who play.
