Denna söta familjkabin med 2 sovrum, 1 badrum, ligger på West Shore Drive på Chute Pond i Mountain, Wisconsin, bara en timme från Green Bay eller Fox Valley. Stugan ligger bort från vägen på en stor tomt som ger gott om utrymme för parkering och avskildhet från dag till dag stressar. Stugan ligger tvärs över gatan från fyra hjul- och snöskoterleder. Det finns gott om utrymme att parkera en trailer för dina leksaker. Du kan lossa och vara på spåren på några minuter.

Chute Pond är en 400 tunnland full tillgång sjö och är perfekt för fiske, bad, båtliv och mycket mer.

Njut av fiske, bad, kajakpaddling, fyrhjuling, längdskidåkning och mycket mer. Vi är belägna på norra sidan av flödet i en STOR kajak, djurliv och fiskeområde. När du är redo att träffa vattnet för lite båtliv kan du ta dig upp i kanalen i 5 minuter till sjöns vakna område. Bästa av båda världar! Det finns också flera öringströmmar i området.

Mountain är en semester destination året runt. Stora höstfärger och utmärkt vandring. Gå ner till Bagley Rapids när som helst på året för en fantastisk utsikt. Det finns flera fantastiska kvällsklubbar i området samt fantastiska glassbutiker. YUMM!
Sovrum 1 har en queen size-säng. Sovrum 2 har en full storlek futon och två våningssäng ovan. Det finns en andra enkelsäng i samma rum.

Great Family Getaway

This property was perfect for a week up north with our young kids. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boats, along with the large fireplace area in the evenings. Michelle is a great host and always available to answer questions in a timely manner.

Peaceful Getaway

Had a great stay with the family. Everything was perfect! Had a little rain one day, which was completely fine due to the covered patio. Besides the great views, that was the best part of the house in my opinion!

Last one before school!

Place was very clean and up to date! The backyard space was amazing and dog and 5 year old did not want to leave. This was a great place to create some memories!

The cottage was very nice. It had all the amenities, was clean and spacious. We had plenty of room for sleeping, air conditioning, washer and dryer, plenty of lawn games, grill, bonfire pit, lots of parking. Our favorite part was the covered porch area. It was very quiet and peaceful. The location was nearby many restaurant options as well. The commutation with Michelle was great too. Just a few things to make note of-this cottage is at the end of the channel that leads to Chute Pond. It is very weedy and unable to swim off the dock. It takes about 10 minutes or more to get to the open lake part. When we arrived, there was goose poop covering the dock and beach that we needed to clean off ourselves. It appeared it had been there for days and a lot of it. There is only one bathroom on the first floor and no bathroom upstairs where all the rooms are located. 2 of the rooms do not have doors but rather curtains. It was fine as my kids were in the rooms, but not very private. Lastly, the cottage is higher up, so you do need to go up and down many steps to get to the water. We enjoyed our stay and would give it a 9/10.

Mountain Vacation

Michelle was great to work with & answered all of my questions. Nice cabin to just relax & enjoy the scenery. Caught some fish & went kayaking. Very nice place to recharge the batteries.

PERFECT getaway from our city lives!

Our stay was great! We had everything we needed and plenty of room for two families of 4. We enjoyed the area around us and visited a couple little towns. We fished, we kayaked, we built a fire. It was so relaxing and just what we were all looking for. Check in was easy and the owner was very supportive! We had all the tools we needed to cook for 8 people and plenty of towels and dishes. We will for sure be going back!

Excellent! Would love to go back!

This cottage way exceeded our expectations! My teenage boys were like little kids in a candy shop! The cottage was nice and clean and very updated. The owner even checked up on us when some storms rolled through. I can honestly say that it was worth every cent! This was our first rental and a very memorable one. Thank you Doug and Michelle.

Quiet Getaway

I enjoyed our stay. The outdoor seating area overlooking the lake was probably the highlight of the stay. We went during the week and it was extremely quiet and peaceful. Communication with Michelle was on point. I was bummed we had to bring our own blankets for every bed because I had to pack 4 for the family and it was a lot of extra baggage to travel with. Other than that, no complaints. Thank-you!

Clean property, accommodating hosts

Due to unforeseen circumstances, adjustments needed to be made to our stay. Michelle stayed in communication with us the entire time. On the property, we had great access to the waterway with the peddleboat and kayaks. The accommodations was beautiful, clean, and well-maintained and the outdoor living space gave us all the room we needed to escape for a few days. As runners, the ATV trail and connecting roads gave us plenty of options to put in miles. We were able to treat ourselves at Scoopers in a short drive and enjoy time at Chute Pond.

Chute Pond Vacation

Best place to go! The property managers communication was great even took a couple late night question and explained every detail. My family and I love the property. Water activities in the back yard and ATV trails start at the end of the drive way. There’s certainly a night life on the weekends with plenty of other activities depending on the time of year. Area is surprising quiet even on the weekends with all the ATVs and boats in the area. The house was very accommodating, clean, organized, simple and modern. The house comfortably slept my party of 10 with pet. My family and I had a very memorable long weekend and would do it again in a heart beat we can’t wait till next year.

True R&R for this family from Texas

Devastation turned into the best family trip ever.... Our trip started with a message from the owner saying that this cabin had been crushed by a tree (and actually will be torn down) during a wind storm just a few days before we were to arrive from Texas. We scrambled to find something comparable but didn't have any luck. Michelle made other housing accommodations for us and we were able to still use the property, kayaks, paddle boat, dock, etc. Let me just say, WOW! We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and the lake was quite throughout our stay. That may not be the norm on the weekend though. We also enjoyed the kayaks, splash pad, fishing from the dock, fires at night, water fowl, just everything. The town was small and many places were closed during our time there but we did visit Everbreeze Resort and had good food and drinks. My only complaint and its not about this property, would be the lack of boat and UTV rentals in the area. We would have loved doing those things while here but couldn't find rentals anywhere. I highly recommend! Thank you Michelle!

A beautiful location

It was just we were looking for to get away for a long weekend! The lake and view from the cabin were great! The cabin was rustic, cute and cozy! We would definitely come back. We had lots of fun walking around and exploring!

Winter visit

The cottage was small but comfortable. There would be so much more to enjoy in the summer but we still got out to do some ice fishing and walking in the snow.

Great little place!

We had a lovely stay in the cozy home. It's just steps from Chute Pond and there were kayaks available for our use. The place was clean and the owner very easy to work with. My only suggestion would be to put doors on the bedrooms!

Beautiful Property

The property contained everything as promised by the owner. The view of the pond was beautiful, the fire pit area and interior of the house were both clean and organized. Communication with the owner was spot-on and questions were answered promptly. Unfortunately we weren't able to catch any fish off of the pier after several hours of trying, but there were a few other places to fish in the area.

This family cabin was bought in 2013 where we had been restoring it to it's original glory. In 2020 we were hit by straight line winds and were forced to start over. Since then we have built this new cozy cabin with outdoor living being a focus! Who doesn't want to sit outside when it is warm no matter the weather?! Where the cabin once sat, this is now a large flat bag toss area overlooking the water!

We bought this property for the location. We are right on the 4 wheeler trails, on the water where there is not a lot of boat traffic allowing floating, swimming, kayak and fishing without any concern but yet we can take a boat up the water way to get to the fun on the main lake within 5 minutes.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

We include a paddle boat and the use of 3 kayaks with the rental. Amazing views. EVERY morning you can wake up to unlimited wild life right on the water in front of you. Kayaking is amazing in this area. There is the Chute Pond jumping rock, slippery rock, and a sand bar on the lake for social gathering. The main lake is full access to allow for unlimited boating fun. Drive or hike to Bagley Rapids which is right up the road. Mountain Lookout Tower is 5 minutes away. There are some great ice cream places in the area and an old fashion candy store in Lakewood for those of you with a sweet tooth like me. The Weatherwood supper club is 3 minutes away and has a GREAT salad bar and food! So much more! We are located on the Chute Pond (lake) flowage. Swim off the small beach or launch the kayaks. The center of the lake is shallow making it perfect for fishing for perch or kayaking around while there is a perfect place to play and swim in the water right off the shore and dock.
