Lovely villa which was very clean and perfect for our family. Ocean views were definitely the highlight with some amazing sitting areas looking out over the sea. Quite remote so car hirer needed in order to access shops and restaurants. There was a beach club just down the road but was that quite expensive. Cleaner came in every day which was nice and not usual for a villa stay and she cooked some lovely traditional pies! Quiet and relaxing stay. If you’re looking for somewhere more central probably not the place for you but perfect for what we were after. Hosts were helpful and easy to contact. Pool lovely and clean and gardens very well kept.

Fabulous villa in a gorgeous setting

The villa, pool, terraces and grounds were all stunning. There was plenty of space for our multigenerational family, including two toddlers, and we marvelled at the design of the villa which cleverly showcases the amazing landscape. The owner quickly responded to any questions and the daily housekeeping was great.

Spectacular Villa

My friends and I came here to celebrate a special birthday. We had a lovely time. The villa had spectacular views of the sea. There were so many places to sit together or enjoy on your own. The host was very helpful and made us feel very welcome.

Amazing villa, fantastic holiday and wonderful service.

All the reviews here are spot on, Alex went out of his way to make us feel welcome and looked after everything. The villa is stunning, the area so close to great beaches - we loved Marathi but also Seitan even with the slightly treacherous walk it's well worth it. Small touches like surprise food and cakes brought to the villa made it really special. We loved the pool and different areas to relax and socialise. A perfect holiday in a perfect location.

Stunning villa and excellent host

We have just returned from a once in a lifetime family holiday at this beautiful villa. Everything was perfect from the peaceful location and stunning architecture to the friendly and welcoming cleaner who surprised us with delicious Cretan treats. We would recommend this villa to anyone and will definitely be back again. A special thanks also to Alex who was attentive and provided us with everything we needed.It was definitely a holiday we will never forget.

The views are absolutely unreal. The house doesn’t look super child friendly at first glance but really is once you are settled. Walk to a taverna, walk to a beach, five minute drive to an amazing family beach. Good AC for the bedrooms at night and wonderful breezes through the house during the day. Couldn’t be more happy about our stay. We had Stefanos provide a few meals that were outstanding and the daily cleaning service made our stay relaxing and convenient.

The holiday of a lifetime

We invited friends and family to join us for a two weeks holiday and everyone had the most amazing time. The villa is just beautiful and set on a unique cliff side position with a 180 degree view over the sea. Wonderfully clean and peaceful beaches within walking distance, a great taverna beach side, attentive and discreet staff, delightful garden with rock garden and herb garden sides, an infinity pool worthy of a movie set... It was the holiday of a lifetime and a very difficult place to leave...

a dreamy vacation

We fell in love with the villa prior to arrival, from the pictures in the internet, but we didn't know what to expect until we arrived. Our first encounter with the location and view was breathtaking. The owners were most cordial and attentive, the service was impeccable, the place itself, the pool overlooking the sea, the garden, the beach next to the villa, everything was absolutely perfect. We will most definitely return next year!

The most stunning property we have enjoyed.

The first impression is one of elegance, luxury & stunning archetecture. It's simple beautiful. The design is interesting from every angle and every floor. And as a result we never ever got tired of the view from either the top balcony, the walk way, the pool or the terrace. The owners also should be given a 5 star service level, couldn't do enough for us. Incredibly nice, friendly people. We will be back in 2018 thanks Richard Giltinan

Idyllic, luxury villa in a magic location

We had seen the photos online but our experience of the villa was better than what is advertised. The view the villa provides of the sea is just priceless. You can sit by the main house in an elevated terrace and dine looking at the view or sit on the cliff edge in a sheltered jetty overlooking the water. The infinity pool also gives you views of the sea. The host was incredible - so kind and endlessly attentive and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. The big unexpected surprise for us was how great the area was. We had a <1 year old baby with us and so having a beach and a restaurant only a 5 minute walk away was invaluable.

Wonderful stay in paradise

Alex runs a tight ship and has a beautiful property. We are already discussing when we can come back. With three toddlers, the house was incredibly child-proofed with gates on all stairwells and air conditioning in all bedrooms. We could let the kids play in the house or outside with little concern. We hired a private chef Stefanos and his wife Katarina, who made us the most incredible food in Alex's house. The views, the food, the house, the beach was within 3 minutes walking with beautiful sand and crystal clear blue water. Everything was simply perfect. This is one of the best vacation rentals, if not the best, that I have ever stayed at.

Gorgeous Views, Gorgeous Villa , Gorgeous People

Just returned from a wonderfully relaxing holiday at Olea Prime Villa ! The photos do not do the villa justice - the villa itself is modern and beautifully designed.The pool large and we particularly loved the covered lounging area at the end of the pontoon. It was welcome shelter from the sun, with fabulous sea views and a lovely cooling sea breeze. George and Alex could not have been more attentive and helpful both before and after our arrival and the villa was cleaned everyday - Service they provided was as good as any 5* hotel. Can't think of anything negative to say - other than go , relax and enjoy! PS: There's a lovely Taverna 5 mins walk from the house and 5 minutes in the car is Marathi with a handful of restaurants. Service and food was better at local Taverna if you don't fancy cooking

A fantastic property!

We spent a week at this beautiful villa, relaxing and chilling in the perfect location. A lot of time was spent by the pool and at the end of the pontoon. We enjoyed our walks to the small beach where the sea was clear and calm. The housekeeper was so friendly and helpful, she brought us fresh bread and made us Crete delicacies which was a lovely touch. Alex was on hand if we needed any guidance as was his Dad, George. We managed without a car for a week, but if there for longer a car would be needed to further explore the island. We did enjoy a boat trip which we booked with Nikos in Marathi Beach and we went to a fabulous lagoon. The fish taverna in Marathi was a big hit with all of us and we had 3/4 lovely evenings there. Highly recommend this as a great space to relax and spend time with family and friends. Karen Cardwell

Perfect place with perfect service

I don’t know where to start: Service, location, view, architecture, cleanness, equipment, garden, … there is only one word suitable to describe this place and this word is “perfection”. The villa is located in a quiet corner of the Chania Region overviewing Souda Bay and the open sea with a small island just in front of it. The view is as spectacular as the architecture and the garden around the house. There is an elevated walkway high over the garden to a seating area and the heated pool. The villa is equipped with every household item you can imagine and the lady who does the housekeeping keeps it perfectly clean. She even cooked for us some delicious local dishes … they were so great that you won’t get something similar even at any 5star-restaurant ! Alex the owner and his father George were extremely helpful and cared for our wellbeing. My girlfriend and I have visited many nice places before, but we never found a location as great as this one and it will be hard to top this experience. This property is one of the best in the world.

A magic stay in a wonderful place!

We spent 2 wonderful weeks in Olea Prime, and everyone was enthusiastic in our group of 8, ranging from 10 to 70 years old. Alex, his wife and his father are incredibly welcoming, caring, helpful and discreet people. They do not just rent their house, they did their best to make our stay unique, from our arrival at the airport where they joined us, until our very last day. They offered many presents all along our stay: a generous welcome basket and several typical and delicious pastries and meals, home made Alex was always at reach, proposing useful information (starting with a Google map with many links and advices) like a real concierge service that made all activities easy: shopping, boat excursions, paddle on the bay, scuba diving (if you're diving, don't miss Elephant cave in Souda bay nearby), restaurants and beaches The villa offers all facilities, as expected from the detailed and accurate description. A gardener and a housekeeper make the place beautiful and perfectly clean. Also, you must try a diner with the chef Stefanos, that turned the villa into a private restaurant. And from Sunrise (on the sea just in front of the villa) to Sunset, we enjoyed many magic moments in this amazing property. A wonderful place we hope to return soon!

Even better than the pictures. Beautiful, immaculately clean house in picture-perfect location.

My family stayed at this villa near Chania in Crete for five days in April. The house is even nicer than the pictures. The house itself is smartly designed and the interior decor is sophisticated and comfortable in every room. The landscaping is creative and beautiful and includes ping pong, foosball, herb garden, bbq, pizza oven, hammock and fruit trees. The best part, however, is the amazing 'bridge' walkway out to the cliff-side view deck and pool area. The views are amazing - you can see everything from the rocks, plants and crystal clear water below to a nearby island to passing cruise boats and ferries, to snow covered mountains. The house also has TVs in every room, wifi, Netflix and gaming devices - but we never used any of them because being outside or just looking at the view was the way better option. Alex, the host, made everything easy. He is attentive and either himself, his wife, or his father are quick to help out if you need anything from a quick fix to the house to advice on what beaches or restaurants to go to. He also provided us a very nice welcome gift of island wine, preserves, and bread, as well as fresh eggs and fresh custard and cheese pies cooked by the adoringly friendly housekeeper. The location is a great place just to stay and never leave or as a jumping off point to nearby Chania (20 minute drive) or great beaches like Balos Beach, Stavros Beach, or Seitan Limania.

We stayed in Olea prime for a week and it was a truly enjoyable experience. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay at this beautifully decorated villa. Gorgeous and luxurious, it made our family vacation extra-special. The villa is nice and extremely comfortable, with swimming pool, and large rooms. The view of the sea is phenomenal. The villa, with many windows, was very bright, absolutely stunning and luxurious, very clean and tidy and spacious too. We all fell in love with it the minute we stepped through the door. Giorgos met us promptly at the villa on our arrival from the airport, and did a thorough review of its features; he was also quickly available for advice throughout our stay. He and Alex his son are extremely communicative and followed up promptly to every inquiry. They went out of their way to accommodate us and to make us feel comfortable. Alex arranged for us the car rentals and a chef that came one evening and cooked for us a delicious dinner, and gave us recommendations for great taverns in the area and in Chania. One morning Giorgos came with a fresh sweet pie that his wife made especially for us. Inside the villa we had all the conveniences we need: great kitchen, tv/wifi, comfortable sleeping, big bathrooms and closets. We liked to spend the mornings and the evenings on the balcony with the view, and it was simply magnificent and just like paradise. We would defiantly choose to go back here!

Best Paradise villa, best place in the World!

I have traveled a lot across Europe, Russia, USA, Brazil and the Carribean, but have never seen any place like this one before. I stayed at this villa in June 2018 for 10 nights with my family including a 12 month-old baby. This was the best experience we have ever had! The views are just stunning, with ships and boats passing by! We wanted to spend time on the beautiful bridge overlooking the bay all the mornings (woke up at 6 am to meet the Sun and enjoy the sunrise), days by the pool with the seagulls and evenings with a glass of Rose or white wine looking at the stars and listening to the winds and the sea. Thank you so much for the most attentive owner Alex who helped us right from the moment of booking going far and beyond with our tourist visa issues and Greek consulate work and then calling several times with great recommendations of the seafood, restaurants, sights and best beaches on the island, and his father George who came to check us several times to make sure we were doing well! The villa is very modern and equipped with literally EVERYTHING you can dream of - a perfect kitchen with all tools you can imagine including an ice-cream scoop, grill area in the garden, foosball, table tennis, baby highchair, baby swing, toddler swing, baby bed, the sharp corners of a massive coffee table in the dining area are safely protected with baby-hands-shaped rubber сaps, and there are protective gates on all the stairs so it it very safe with the baby! There is a fully equipped laundry-room, great bathrooms with marble and wood, the floors are amazing and everything is highly automated and clean as a cleaning lady comes DAILY and changes towels and refills everything including soaps and bread and olive oil and cooks delicious spinach, cheese and sweet pies!!! We were shocked by how cool everything was. THANK YOU SO MUCH for your best villa in the world, we really appreciate, we would definitely recommend family groups and friends groups with romantic couples to stay at this designer's modern magnificent and at the same time very romantic villa!
