Lovely with Hiccups

The unit was very well equipped, with everything we needed and backup supplies just in case. It was also an updated unit that was beautifully done with great finish selections. We appreciated the steam shower after a day on the slopes. It is small and efficient so probably best for 2 adults or a family with small children. Westgate itself had nice amenities though some are starting to feel a little long in the tooth. The building has common laundry rooms for use, just BYO detergent. We only had a few challenges. Everything in the unit was extremely tall and high. The bed was raised to nearly 40" to allow for storage underneath so it was hard to get in and out of and a bit unsettling to sleep that high. Dishes were in a cabinet that was 6' off the ground. Step stools were provided for all of these locations, but it may not be hard for petite people or those with mobility challenges. Also, the bedroom light and ceiling fan would spontaneously come on at very random hours and even in the middle of the night making for a very unrestful sleep. Imagine getting blasted with full room lighting in the middle of deep sleep. When we mentioned to the host, they knew the origin of the issue, a shared frequency selection with the room next door which means we were most likely turning their lights and fan on and off unknowingly. This was very unfortunate that the issue was not fixed because it was challenging to sleep through the night. Otherwise, it would have been a great stay.

Small but Cozy and convenient lift access

This place is very small and only suitable for a pair of adults and maybe a small child or two. That said it is cozy and has convenient access to the lifts at Canyons Village. The pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna amenities are top notch and the ski valet is nice to have. Overall good experience.

Park City Utah Westgate

Beautiful ski in and out resort. The property was perfect. Staff were very helpful. There is an on-site shuttle that can take you to the grocery store, other resorts, and downtown to park city. Several restaurants located on resort grounds. Included a stove and microwave. Washer machine and dryers easy to locate on another floor. Will definitely stay again in the future!

Lovely stay!

We had a great experience at the Westgate Resort. Everyone was very nice, and it had wonderful amenities and a short distance to the Canyons gondola. Once you learn to navigate the multiple floors and elevators, it is easier to get around. (We found sometimes it was a shorter walk to go outside.). Convenient to the market as well as the ski shop and some restaurants. We didn’t try the pool, spa or hot tub. Appreciated the humidifier that was provided! Would definitely stay here again.

Great for Skiing

The studio was perfect for our 4-day ski trip. Nice property, a short walk to the lifts and ski rental in house. Our son loved the indoor/outdoor pool and we really enjoyed the hot tub and sauna after a day on the slopes. We‘ll be back for sure!

Great location. Convenient for riding Canyons and Park City

Easy walk to lifts, restaurants, and stores. Ski valet offered by the Westgate is also a plus. Hotel shuttle provides easy transportation to Park City Mountain and downtown. Had a couple of small issues, but was able to get in contact with the Property Manager right away and items were addressed quickly with no inconvenience. The unit had everything I needed. (Refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, plates & utensils, etc. The room is a little small and narrow, but it is a standard floorpan at the Westgate. OK for 1 or 2 people. Might be tight for more than that.

Great Location. Nice Resort.

The location and amenities of this resort were excellent. Easily walk out to hop on the slopes in seconds, great restaurants right at the main floor, pools and hot tubs were excellent. The room was clean and suitable. My only complaint was the lack of chairs/seating. There is a table to use for breakfast or card playing but not one chair to sit in. An easy fix and not worth dinging this property. Have to also give nod to the amazing shower and steam shower in the room! We had a great stay.

Good, but complicated

Nice clean place. We were looking for something with an outdoor sitting area and this popped up so we were disappointed when we got there and it did not have one. Though we know its not the owners fault we were let down. Check in was slow and a pain, they could not find our reservations and had to put the whole thing together again. This is a rental place in an existing hotel, so its complicated who to call when you need different things. The hotel is a RAT RACE to find your room. The parking ins not close. You end up going through 2 different buildings. You have to go to a certain floor, accross to the other building, up the elevator, just to get to your room. Imagine that and times it by 10 to find the pool, restaurants, shopping, outside. Its a mess. They need way better instructions to let you know how to get where you want to go. This hotel has like 6 buildings and looks like at least 1-3 more being made now. Which brings me to the view, of a construction site, Completely blocking any view of the surrounds and beautiful mountains. The parking structure is a joke to. People parked EVERYWHERE, its not even close to big enough for the hotel, we had to pard half on a ramp, against a wall, just to get our stuff in the building and we got a violation for it. . . where were we suppose to park? It was FULL to bursting. Plus to be anywhere close to your building, you have to be on the top floor at the far end, which is where everyone thats in that building wants to park and its always full. You cant turn around, you have to back out till you find an empty stall or enough space to turn around. Parking was horrid.

Good stay

The condo itself exactly as described. Check in was quick and easy. Well-equipped for our needs. Great steam shower! The only issue was some confusion on where to park and finding the correct entrance, plus a long trek to the elevators. Very nice property amenities.

Comfy Canyons retreat

This place is a super convenient and comfortable spot at the Canyons with an amazing spa. I really wish I had had more time to hang out! Navigating through the summer construction to get up there is not a problem, but it took me a while to find it because it looks like the road is closed. It is open to guests staying there though. It's a great place!
