As of now, the poolside snack shack and upstairs bar are open and serving food and refreshments (seasonal operation hours may apply). Thank you for your review. We are about 16 miles out from the "tourist area" of Galveston and most guests seek our community for an "escape". During the winter it is very serene and perfect for long beach walks and lazy days. We are just as saddened that this historic and unexpected storm shortened your vacation and caused so much damage for those all over our great state of Texas. Guest safety and comfort is always first and foremost at Pointe West Vacation and without power or water for several days we were unable to allow you to finish your stay. We do hope you visit again. The Extra Pointe is an beautifully appointed property that offers front row beach views that are breathtaking. Be well, Your Friends at Pointe West Vacation.
