Georgianska familjens stuga - 3 minuters promenad från stranden

Denna härliga georgianska stuga är en av en pittoresk rad nära kyrkan och med utsikt över en lugn torg. Det är mycket varmt, bekväma och välutrustade. Charmig inhägnad trädgård som nås på övervåningen genom stugan tillsammans med en separat bilaga som sover ytterligare 3 personer. En av de bästa platserna i Lyme; val av två helt olika stränder-en känd för fossiler, var bara 2/3 minuters promenad. Butiker precis runt hörnet.


"Apple" är gas centralvärme och försedd med allt du behöver i vägen för sänglinne, handdukar, täcken, kokkärl, porslin och bestick. I köket finns en 4 ring gasspis och inbyggd elektrisk spis, mikrovågsugn, kyl, frys och diskmaskin. Den rymliga matsalen med långa bord och bänkstolar är öppet genom till loungen, där gott om bekväma sittplatser och en smart 43 "4K TV skapar ett mysigt familjerum. En dörr leder en trappa upp till sovrum, badrum och trädgård. Den vackra uteplatssträdgården är helt innesluten och är utrustad med bord, stolar, bänkar och en vacker trädborrning med ytterligare sittplatser.
Tvärs över trädgården, som endast nås genom stugan upp några branta trappor, är "båthuset" som består av ett sovrum med dubbelsäng (med dragkedja och länk king size-säng och 32 "Smart TV), ett enkelrum, dusch och tvättstuga .

Lyme Regis är en vacker liten stad med något för alla. Bortsett från attraktionerna stranden, hamnen, pubar, bergstopp vandringar och golfbana, är själva staden är full av pittoreska byggnader och små gränder. Nära till "Apple" kör floden, på sin väg genom staden. Här möter du Lyme övriga invånare - ankor!

Very clean, nice and comfortable. Perfectly located in town and very very close to the sea. Very quiet. Lovely terrasse.Only one negative point was the strong and unpleasant smell of fresh paint in the annexe from the beginning to the end of our stay (end of April) even with the windows open all day. Not suitable for a baby in those rooms.

Dear Jocelyne, I apologies for not responding to your comments sooner. Firstly I am really sorry about the very strong smell of new paint you experienced in the boathouse. I do not need to go into details but only to say this work was supposed to have been done in January in which case there would not have been a problem. On another matter did one of you family members leave a jumper in the bedside cupboard in the cottage in the main bedroom, if it was yours then we have it safe here at our home and we are willing to send it back to you free of charge. Another fantastic stay in Lyme

Beautiful family feel to this extensive and well appointed cottage. We entertained friends including a young family across our 7 days and found the boat house space really useful to this end. Plenty of everything that is important from crockery to seating to games and books. Would recommmend to all, best cottage yet in our four years of coming to Lyme.

Could not have asked for more friendly hosts. Great communication before and during our stay. The flat was immaculate when we arrived. Since we stayed over the Christmas holidays, the host kindly put up a Christmas tree to enhance our holiday experience. Many people know Lyme Regis as a summer destination. We opted for winter and were able to immerse ourselves in the local community by attending a local play, singing around the Christmas Tree, and attending midnight Mass. The flat is located in the perfect location. Minutes away from the bustling main street and also a car park for our vehicle.Although it was cold and windy, we enjoyed walking along the beach to look for fossils. The location also allowed us to make day trips to many great stately homes, castles, and cathedrals in the area.

We travelled down to celebrate a family memebr’s 50 birthday in his home town and with his family.

The property I has some original features that capture its history. It is well looked after and set among the houses that lead down to the sea & picturesque beach. We were a party of 7 and there was plenty of accommodation. All the beds were fresh and clean and all the facilities ready for us to use as a family. The owner couldn’t have been more helpful and personable. We had a very enjoyable short stay and would be happy to go back there soon

This is a delightful cottage with every imaginable comfort. It is around the corner from the beach front on a quiet street and near to all the possible amenities of Lyme Regis. Charles is an excellent host and readily available. We would love to stay in the cottage again!

Lovely position in Lyme Regis

We really enjoyed our week in this delightful cottage which was fine for us as a couple. No on-site parking but the car park up the road was very convenient especially as it meant we didn't have to drive through the narrow streets. Very central and easy to walk into Lyme Regis where there are loads of great restaurants. Sleeps 8 but we were glad we weren't a bigger party at this time of year as downstairs is quite small. Great outside space for the summer though.

Escape from lockdown

Chose this excellent self-catering cottage for a short break to get away after the Covid Siege. This property deserves it's 5 stars: clean and tidy, well equipped, central location and all the rest. Very nice! and definitely recommended for a stay in Lyme.

Appletrees is a perfect spot to stay in Lyme Regis. Close to the town centre nd some great places to eat. Would recommend it and hope to go back to visit again

Perfect location and property

As a group of single, (almost) middle aged adults, this was the perfect property for us with plenty of rooms and space for us all to enjoy time together and apart and the same could be said for families too. The large outside space is a real joy and very versatile with both covered and uncovered seating areas. The property has the added bonus of being at the bottom of the hill and for those of you who know Lyme Regis, it's always easier to go downhill at the end of the day! We would all recommend this property.

Lovely little house in a perfect location

We really enjoyed our stay here. The High Street and coast are 5 minutes walk away, the locals are really friendly and the house has everything you need. There were 7 of us staying here and just enough room for everyone. The annex space out back has been deigned really well to give a large very double room with a huge and really comfortable bed which we struggled to leave each morning!

My father bought Appletrees as a family holiday home back in the 1950's. As my boarding school was in Taunton it was useful as a holiday get-away. Now with our family grown up we are bringing our own grandchildren down to Appletrees.

Appletrees is ideally situated close to the beach, but away from the crowds in the oldest part of Lyme Regis.
