Kommer ner Sunset View Lane leder den tredje uppfarten till skylten i slutet av vÄr körfÀlt, sÄ att du vet att du har kommit till Camp David! En mysig röd timmerstuga som Àr nÀstan 100 Är gammal. Ryktet har det, den tidigare resortkabinen, anvÀndes av gangster frÄn Chicago! Signaturerna i stockarna kommer att stÄ och lÀsa vem som besökt denna stuga genom Ären och nÀr de besökte! Denna charmiga röda stuga byggdes av stockar som flyter i sjön. Med 100 meter sjöfront och fantastisk sandbotten för simning. Kabinen sitter 40 meter frÄn vattnet och Àr 600 kvadratmeter. Komplett med en frig, gasspis i köket, mikrovÄgsugn, vardagsrum, badkar med dusch, fyra sÀsong veranda med tvÄ fulla sÀngar och sovloft som sover 2. Tvingad luftvÀrme och fönster A / C. Veranda har ursprungliga loggar och vÀlvt tak. En speciell utsikt över otroliga solnedgÄngar kommer inte att glömmas bort. Spot för bra lÀgereld!

Wonderful time in a beautiful, quiet setting. Accommodations, including extra air mattresses, were perfect for a Great Lake cabin experience. We hope to make it an annual tradition!

We absolutely adored this little cabin! It was perfect for our end of summer family get-away. The lake is so clean and clear and it was a blast fishing from the dock. Lots to do in neighboring towns (mini golf, little shops, mystery maze) The cabin itself was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend!

Brought back memories of the cabin my parents had back in the 1900's.Excellent fishing! crappies, blue gills sunnies, pumpkin seeds, large mouth & pike. Would have been a 5 star, had, I not kept hitting my head on that low beam in the kitchen. 1st world problems..highly recommend!

Lovely view from the cabin & dock

THIS COZY CABIN IS AS CUTE AS THE PICTURES IN THE LISTING! This is a comfortable place for a couple or (small) family. The cabin felt "rustic" but still had a full kitchen, hot water, and some comfy chairs for evening sitting. For us, the best thing was the great view of the lake.Also, good hosts--They responded quickly when we had questions before booking, and gave clear details for finding the property and gaining access. The cabin was well-stocked with thoughtful items.

Camp David

A nice quiet place on a quiet road with excellent lake access. Close to several towns in case you need groceries, etc. The sand bottom lake is a plus if you wish to swim. There is also a nice dock if you bring your own boat. Swimming towels, chairs and an outdoor picnic table is a bonus.

Old charm

It is an old building Ava you have to watch out for the low log in the middle of the structure if your taller than 5’10”! It has lots of charm and the neighbors were so so nice!

Unique cabin

The cabin is so cozy and just our style. Quiet neighborhood with a beautiful lake. It was windy the days we were there we weren’t able to grill or use the fire pit. We sat on the dock with our coffee and just enjoyed the beautiful scenery. We ate at the Wharf for dinner and the next day went to Nisswa for shopping and lunch. Can’t wait to go back!!

Cute Little Cabin

The cabin is cozy and adorable. Close to the lake which is beautiful. The furniture, while old fashioned, was extremely comfortable. We spent a ton of time relaxing on the red couch! Had a few minor issues. The chain in the toilet kept coming loose, causing issues with flushing, and the water pressure in the sink and shower were near nothing. It was also extremely cold in the bedroom, despite us adjusting the heat, and the portable heater in the bedroom did not work. Overall, we seriously enjoyed our trip! I’d recommend this cabin to couples looking for a nice weekend to rest and relax!

Everything was good! If I were to say anything negative at all, the cabin ceilings are short. And there is a beam in the middle. I am short so it didn’t bother me at all, but my husband is 6’6 and he hit his head twice. But again, not a deal breaker! The lake was beautiful and the area was fantastic!

We had agreat time. Second time we have stayed here. We loved fishing from the dock. Caught alotof fish. Had one issue which our host fixed quickly. We will go back.

This place is slice of heaven. Its so peaceful and the cabin is a perfect place to relax. Wanda is an amazing host and easy to communicate with. The town itself is small but the locals were extremely friendly. We love this place and were sad to leave. We will for sure be back next year.

Amazing time!

The cabin was lovely! We enjoyed the comfy decor and it was stocked with everything we needed and then some! Beautiful weather and Wanda was amazing in communications. Would stay again if in the area!

Vintage cabin on lovely E Fox Lake

Camp David is a small comfy vintage cabin very nicely situated on a beautiful clean lake. It is basically one room with a porch facing the lake that has been transformed into the bedroom. We really enjoyed our time there spending time on the dock, listening to loons, and exploring the lake in our kayaks. We appreciated the comfy furniture and the well-stocked kitchen. The bathroom definitely needs updating but it worked. The grill and outside furniture were in tough shape but we cleaned a couple chairs up and used them. Overall it felt like it was an old cabin with time-worn charm that’s been in a family for many years. Pro tip - watch out if you’re tall, the cabin has a low ceiling!

Short stay getaway

The cabin is nice.. I read some reviews and with the term "rustic" I wasn't sure what to expect but it was nice! The cabin is not brand new but it is fine. The bathroom is small but everything worked and it served its purpose! Everything works as it should and there are enough kitchen supplies and games/etc to keep you busy. The area is nice and quiet and the lake is great. It is shallow by the dock but the water is clear and it is deep enough for adults to swim and float around, kayak, boat etc. It was a nice relaxing few days away and it makes me sad to go back to the daily grind!

Camp David

Beautiful location, beautiful lake, great rustic cabin and was stocked with just about anything you need other than food. Quiet and peaceful only noise at night were the loons. My buddy and I love to fish and we found both East and West Fox Lake great for fishing, rented a pontoon boat from nearby resort in Emily who delivered it to our lake. Neighbors were super friendly and nice. Would definitely stay here again.

With 4 adult children, their spouses and grandchildren, we have loved every minute spent at the cabin. We love to travel and would like to share our cabin with you. It's both quaint, charming and not like any other.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Like us - when you drive down our lane and see this red cabin for the first time, it is love at first sight. It was for us when we bought it in 1985. Up for a weekend of looking at lakeshore lots, we came across this cabin when looking at Grandma's old cabin down the road. Having grown up coming to this area since the 60's, seeing the charm of this cabin, it became a part of our memory making like grandma's before us.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The charm of the red log cabin caught our attention first - but then when we walked to the lake and saw the swimming area, we knew it was perfect. You can see to the sandy bottom of the lake for a long ways out. Fabulous swimming, boating and lake fun are the greatest memories along with the famous sunsets!
