An Incredible view of Thunderhead Mountain and The Great Smoky Mountains, this 2400sq. ft. cabin is ideal for family getaways. Only minutes from Pigeon Forge and Dollywood Theme Park as well as beautiful Cades Cove and Gatlinburg. Enjoy the quiet side of the Smokies in Townsend, Tennessee just off Wears Valley Road. With 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths it's spacious enough for 10 people. Amenities include hot tub, pool table, seasonal gas fireplace, grill, patio, WiFi, and large deck with breathtaking panoramic views.This January (2024) we are making improvements!! A new hot tub, a new deck to enjoy the amazing views, and a new HVAC system upstairs just to name a few!

This is a quiet neighborhood with permanent neighbors on either side. Please be neighborly and observe quiet hours after 10pm!

Awesome View and Great Location

My husband and I had a wonderful stay with my sons, daughters in law and grandchildren! We had a great time hiking. We even got to watch it snow. Great view of the mountains. We will definitely be back! Doug is a great host!

A cozy little cabin

Stayed here for 3 nights and everything was lovely. The view was nice, the balcony was relaxing, and the beds were comfortable.

Wonderful extended weekend for our family!

This property worked well for us and our three young adult children and spouses while in Townsend for a nieces wedding. Doug was quick to respond to any questions. It's a really nice property and we enjoyed Townsend!

Relaxing

We enjoyed the home and the view. We all thought the place was delightful. We loved the sheets and our comfortable beds. Water pressure was great too. Hopefully we can visit again soon.

Great stay in Townsend!

We had an awesome 3-day stay at this property! Our group of 5 men wanted a quiet place to stay while we did some hiking and exploring in the Smoky Mountains. We were 10 minutes from downtown Townsend and 10-15 minutes from the park. The cabin was really clean, great beds and bedrooms, breathtaking view of the mountains, and the pool table provided a great thing to do on a rainy day. Would definitely stay here again - Doug was a great host!

Beautiful cabin and view!

We absolutely loved our time at this property. The owners were super responsive and proactive. The house is beautiful and the view is to die for! We had 6 adults and two teenagers and had plenty of room. We will definitely be back but maybe in the summer or spring to avoid the snow :-)

Wonderful cabin, excellent location

Such a comfortable cabin for our 3 generation group. The location is in our favorite area of the Smokies. We were easily in and out of the park for 3 days and even a morning at the aquarium in Gatlinburg. Doug was very helpful and suggested a really great hike that we had not yet tried. Unanimous vote from the group for staying here again.

The owner is a wonderful communicator. There were 3 couples in our group and we were all comfortable. Beds are great. Ate out all meals so cannot comment much on kitchen.

3 generations in the Smokies

This is our second time staying in this cabin and we hope to return as long as our family fits! It’s so comfortable and well stocked. This is our favorite quiet area of the Smokies. We especially love the new porch and the new appliances are great. The furniture is clean and comfortable. The grandkids enjoyed the games and books and asked to return before we pulled out of the driveway.

It doesn’t get any better than this!

We travel to the beautiful Smoky Mountains almost every year, and have stayed in MANY cabins. Hands down, this was the best one! House was immaculately clean and offers all of the amenities that we needed. Breathtaking views from the back porch, with a lot of up close bear viewings. We even had a sweet, friendly little raccoon visit us on our last evening on the deck. If you’re looking for a great place to stay, in the most gorgeous place on this earth, this is it!!! We WILL be staying here again!!!

June family time

Great communication with Doug the owner, very quick n responsive to all questions, cabin was great. We had 8 people n all had plenty of room. View phenominal view off deck, saw bears n cubs. Kitchen well stocked for cooking. Hot tub n pool table entertained us. Beds were all comfortable. We loved the house n would stay again.

Beautiful Cabin

The cabin is amazing. Great location and view. The owner is very responsive. We had a question about internet service and he answered right away. The kids watched a bear from the kitchen window cross the road right in front the cabin. Plenty of space for everyone. We loved it. 5 stars all the way.

We Will Be Back!

My husband and I stayed with our daughter, her husband, and their four children. There was plenty of space, the cabin was well-equipped and organized, and it was very clean. The porch was a favorite gathering spot for our families, and the view was amazing. The cabin is centrally located and near Dollywood, Gatlinburg, and Cade's Cove. Elvira's Restaurant (right down the road) is a must for breakfast. Doug responded to requests in a timely manner. We hope to return in the fall!

Beautiful!

Beautiful cabin, beautiful view! Exactly as pictured! Property manager very helpful with quick communication! As most of the area, somewhat steep inclines to driveway, plenty of room for two SUV’s to park, could maybe get three if you needed to. Great location, being 1/2 way between Pigeon Forge and Maryville. Would absolutely stay again, we really enjoyed it!

Wonderful view and lovely home

We had a group of 8 stay and it was very roomy for that amount of people. The views are unbelievably gorgeous off the deck of the main floor. I highly recommend this home to anyone else for the future.

Beautiful

The cabin was very spacious and beautiful. Pretty much fully stocked. Views are awesome! We had 5 in our party (old high school friends) we all had our own beds and separate sleeping area. Beds were very comfortable. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay here and would definitely recommend.

Nice and Quiet

Small family vacation for rest and relaxation with a bit of Touist type fun thrown in. Everything was easy to find and get to. Nothing more than 40 minutes away. Perfect place to branch out.....we went to Townsend, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Caves Cove. The gentleman who took care of us was the best and gave great suggestions! Couldn't be happier! Loved it!

Great long Weekend

8 adult family members stayed here for a long weekend, and we enjoyed it immensely. The view from the back deck is absolutely stunning, and we had everything we needed in the house. Great communication with the owner as well. An overall super experience, and we would definitely stay here again.

I grew up in East Tennessee and Shannon is from Hugo, Oklahoma. We live in Nashville, Tennessee and have four kids (five) ages 23, 21, and twin 10 year olds, plus Smoky, our 5 year old beagle. We bought this property in February of 2018, and it has been our dream to own a cabin in the mountains! We enjoy hiking, scuba diving, and boating. We love the many hiking trails that’s just a short drive from the cabin and are constantly checking each one off our list but have many more to go. This place is very special to us and we hope you find it special too!

The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is the most visited national park in the United States. The Park has more than 800 square miles of hiking trails across North Carolina and Tennessee. We are in Townsend, Tennessee, the quiet side of the Smokies. Townsend has some fantastic yet quaint restaurants and shops, a grocery store, as well as an outdoor center that has bikes, paddle boards, rafting, and outdoor gear. We are just minutes from Dollywood Theme Park and the many shops and eateries of Pigeon Forge. If your looking for putt putt golf, go carts, or abundant shopping, Pigeon Forge has it all! If you like something a little quieter, the 20 mile drive along the Little River to Gatlinburg contains some of the most spectacular scenery in the southeastern United States. A short 13 mile drive is Cades Cove, the single most popular destination in The Park. Popular for its scenic mountain views, preserved homesteads of Appalachian life, and abundant display of wildlife. Looking due south off the deck are breathtaking views of the 5,527 foot peak of Thunderhead Mountain which marks the border of Tennessee and North Carolina. Along its summit is the iconic Appalachian Trail, one of the many hiking trails easily accessible from the cabin. We are centrally and conveniently located to all The Great Smoky Mountains have to offer!
