300 år gammal vacker 6-bädds New Forest halmstuga med spelrum

En verkligt fantastisk pittoresk New Forest Cottage i hjärtat av byn Woodgreen. Centralt beläget med en pub- och bybutik i närheten men också bara en kort promenad till Village Green och öppen skog bortom. Denna 300 år gamla halmtakstuga har all den charm du kan förvänta dig av en fastighetsperiod men också med alla moderna bekvämligheter för en nyrenoverad och dekorerad fastighet. Dessutom har nyligen färdigställt ett nytt trä vinterträdgård, nytt våningsrum på bottenvåningen och en ny dubbel carport med ett lekrum ovan.

På bottenvåningen finns ett sovrum med dubbelsäng med eget badrum. Perfekt för funktionshindrade åtkomst. Ett stort kök / matsal som vetter mot det nya vinterträdgården, en utomhus sittplats som är perfekt för utomhusbruk. en lounge med en brännare och 40 'tv och en matsal med plats för upp till 12.

På första våningen finns ett sovrum med eget badrum med duschrum, en garderob, ett familjebadrum med hörnbadkar, separat dusch och fönsterplats och ett tvåbäddsrum och ett sovrum med dubbelsäng. På andra våningen finns det ett sovrum med dubbelsäng och ett tvåbäddsrum med en hemlig trappa.

Utanför finns en mycket stor mogen trädgård med ett överflöd av buskar och blommor. OBS! En liten grunt rinner genom trädgården på baksidan. Trampolin och grill finns också. Vi har nu lagt till ett sommarhus på baksidan av trädgården för att njuta av eftermiddagssolen.

På framsidan av fastigheten finns parkering för upp till 6 bilar, vi har konstruerat en dubbel carport som nu erbjuder ett lek- / hobbyrum ovanför carporten som nås via trappor på baksidan. Detta har ett bordtennisbord, bordfotboll och elektronisk darttavla.

Love Lane är ett privat spår som ger fordon tillgång till två andra fastigheter. Om du vänder dig direkt från Love Lane tar du dig till Village Green och öppnar skogen bortom. Häst- och brudgummen finns i slutet av denna körfält. Den samhällsdrivna bybutiken som också har ett postkontor och ett litet kafé hittar du längre längs huvudvägen som går genom byn. Butiken säljer ett brett utbud av lokala råvaror och puben har ett utmärkt urval av öl och mat.

We had a wonderful stay at Beck Cottage for our mums 70th birthday. We had 14 in our group including 5 children & we all had plenty of room. The cottage is deceptively large & there is plenty of room in the grounds for the kids to play. We loved it & would definitely return.

Hen Weekend

We had a fantastic stay for a Hen Weekend with a mixture of ages. The property was just what we wanted and we loved being able to have use of the hot tub. Location was perfect! Would absolutely recommend staying here!!

Very much suited to our family get-together. There were 11 of us, and all enjoyed the mix of walking in the New Forest, visiting Salisbury, and the proximity the excellent "Horse and Groom" village pub.

We hired the home for a large mixed ages family group. The accommodation fitted our needs well. Proximity of the pub was great!!! One couple stayed in the shepherds hut and had a great nights sleep. Generally the rooms were all clean and tidy but there were some areas where there was visible dust. The hot tub is in a lovely area of the garden. We didn’t hire the hot tub as we thought it was overpriced and would suggest building it in to the overall price . Overall a great stay helped by lovely weather. WouldRecommend for a family get together.

Beautiful cottage

The cottage was lovely. 9 of us stayed plus 2 dogs and there was more than enough room for us all. The surrounding area was peaceful and the pub on the doorstep was great and the food there was amazing. All in all lovely 5 days away for my husbands surprise 50th. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

check-in was very easy with all the information given.Kitchen was spacious and fully equiped for our needs. We did spend a lot of time in the dinning room area of the kitchen as we found this more cosy than the main dinning room.It was lovely to have the conservatory.

Idyllic private holiday

Beck Cottage is a just gorgeous and so well managed and supplied. Everything was perfect for a long weekend from the welcome hamper to beautiful gardens. The Horse and Groom is literally a stone’s throw away with excellent pub fare. Highly recommend for a family or group of friends. Only complaint is checkout could be a bit later.

Our long weekend at Beck Cottage

We were having a three generation family long weekend and the space in the house, grounds, play barn and immediate environment was excellent. The house was clean and the bedrooms were spacious. There was a nice welcome pack to greet us and plenty of local information available. The property was warm and welcoming when we arrived and we all had a very happy time there.

Stunning Property

An absolutely beautiful house in lovely surroundings. The garden is stunning and full of character. The games room is great and set away from the property so you can have music on and play games whilst others relax in the main house. The house itself is full of charm and there is plenty of room. The conservatory and dining room in particular are very nice additions. The surrounding area is nice with a pub a minutes walk a way and has the added nicety of waking up with horses and cows in the field next to the property. Highly recommended if you want a relaxing, gorgeous property in an idyllic setting.

Wonderful weekend break in the New Forest

The family (3 generations) loved Beck Cottage. There was plenty of room for eleven of us and it was extremely comfortable. We all felt relaxed as soon as we walked in the front door. It was all very clean but did not feel overly sanitised and orderly like some holiday rentals, it felt like you had just borrowed your best friend’s place for a few days while they were away.

Well presented and equiped cottage in lovely location, perfect for larger groups

We booked Beck Cottage for a long weekend for the extended family as a 40th birthday celebration. The cottage is in a great location on the edge of the New Forest, which offers a range of activities and attractions. Members of our group visited Beaulieu, Lyndhurst, Lymington, Exbury Gardens, and the nearby Braemore House, and we did geocaching around the local village all of which we enjoyed. We found the cottage to be be well maintained, equipped and nicely decorated, with plenty of space to accommodate our group. The cottage also has a nice large garden, good for when there is nice weather, and a games room for the not so nice days, although we used both during our stay. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A lovely 50th Wedding Anniversary

We stayed for the weekend at this real, live chocolate box cottage - super inside as well as outside. A really beautiful garden and great location - immediate access to The New Forest. The inside was furnished to a very high standard and was really comfortable. A very good lounge, perfect dining room, large kitchen and adjoining conservatory. The bedrooms were very comfortable and well furnished. A welcome pack of fizz and food was a nice touch. Our anniversary dinner was provided by an outside chef near to where we live and he was able to 'finish off' well in the kitchen. It made for a lovely evening - canapés in the conservatory and dinner in the grand dining room. There were lovely walks in the New Forest and the pretty town of Fordingbridge was nearby. Unfortunately the pub at the end of the lane has now closed but this was not a game changer. There is a village shop a few minutes walk away although we did not use it. Altogether a great anniversary weekend.

Just Perfect

What a beautiful place to stay. We visited for my dad's 70th birthday in January and he had the best weekend. There was plenty of room for us all and there were highchairs, stairgates, travel cots and even a bath seat for our little ones which was such a big help. Lovely welcome pack too. Caroline was a pleasure to speak to. The property and the grounds are just lovely. We didn't want to leave!

A hidden gem - a delightful cottage

A wonderful place to stay. Great for large groups of people & family alike. All the facilities you need. Close to Salisbury and perfectly placed on the edge of the New Forest for walks.

Fantastic property

Just returned from a great family wkd at Beck cottage. I cannot recommend this property enough. Very spacious and good facilities. Plenty of room for 12 adults. The area is beautiful, and make sure you visit the local shop for some great local food. If your looking for a large property for a gathering, don't hesitate. Book this.10/10

This property was acquired to improve the range and type of holiday accommodation we have available in the New Forest National Park. The convenient location of this typical New Forest thatched cottage in one of the Forest's most sought after villages provides an ideal opportunity to sample what New Forest living is all about. It is also rare to find a cottage of this size which can accommodate large groups in spacious surroundings.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

300 years old but also recently refurbished with all the modern conveniences that you would expect. Combine that will a short stroll to the village pub and store or out in the Forest and you really do have the best of all worlds.
Recently added: New ground floor wet room, New conservatory off from the Kitchen, and new double garage with play room and games room.
