The rental property was the perfect size for us. It had such an awesome view of the property and water. The kitchen , bath living area had everything we needed for a relaxing time at the beach. We loved sitting on the balcony areas drinking coffee.

We would like two fobs to be supplied, so in the case that the couple does separate things during the day or night and return to the condo at different times, they can each use their own fob to enter the rental facility, and not have to rely on the other one to let them in.

Stunning views

Perfectly clean, comfortable with the most amazing views of the ocean. Loved the heated pool and fire pit. Holiday decorations at the hotel were lovely. We hope to be back soon!

Overall, excellent stay.

Property was as listed. Great location with great amenities. There were just a couple minor cleaning issues it the management company was very responsive. I will definitely look to stay here again when in Galveston.

Wonderful view

The view and balcony furniture made this place wonderful. So relaxing to hear the waves morning and night. Bed was comfortable. Only negative for us was that the couch is dirty and worn but we spent most of our time on the balcony so it didn’t bother us.

Beautiful Condo with amazing views

We love the San Luis and this condo did not disappoint. Being there over a busy 4th of July holiday it was nice not to have to leave the resort unless we just wanted to. We were even able to watch the fireworks from the Balcony and avoided the crowds. The balcony door is almost impossible to open and close, that really needs to be addressed. My only other negative comment would be the TEN digit code to access the condo was a pain in the rear, it took me until almost the end of our stay to memorize the code, cut one fingernail off to be able to get in. Over all great stay and would rent this unit again.

Pidgeon problems .

Nice overall condo. Check- in was a little confusing but manageable. Nice view and nice fresh appearance. The Pidgeon poop was a big distraction on an otherwise nice balcony. Did not appear that it had been cleaned in a while and it was deep and everywhere on the balconies. That is the first time I have stayed at the condos at San Luis and I would probably pick the hotel next trip unless I just had to have a kitchen. Overall the San Luis is a great property!

Not clean

Condo had plenty of room which was nice and the AC worked great but not verify clean had hair in the shower and on the beds and the AC vents looked like they haven't been clean in years. One other thing it was hard to get in the condo with a 10 digit code.

Do not rent Vacasa

Non existing property manager. They transfer calls to after hours who also does not respond. Corporate did not resolve issues including lacking towels, lack of security- construction crew entered multiple times with teen girls in room, as an “accident”. They should never had our room code. One key for four guests meant we could not get in and out of building- this alone ruined our trip because it is required to go to food, pool, garage entry, etc.

Galveston

Great location on the 15th floor offered wonderful views of the Gulf. Unit was comfortable but I struggled to try to understand the thermostat. GThe kitchen was sparsely furnished with food. VRBO should have standards on what units have for guests. We had no idea that a Keurig was in the unitn and the owner had no pods to start us off. Things like a cooking oil, a little sugar, flour, etc. should be required in all units. Not everybody microwaves all of their meals. I did not appreciate the inflexibility6 of the check in time. When you pay over $200/night you like to check in early. The owner of this unit had a strict 4PM check in. A silly 10 digit entry code had to be put in every time.

Many problems

We’ve stayed at this property many times with no problems. Not true this time. Mailbox with fob was already open, no fob. Code to the door did not work. Door to adjoining condo was not locked. Memo on counter stating electricity and water would be off for about 8 hours for maintenance. Would have rescheduled if had known this ahead of time. Memo stated elevator would still run on emergency power. Planned our day to accommodate this inconvenience. When returned to condo, elevator did not work and we had to walk up 15 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS! Then we felt trapped in condo because we didn’t want to tackle 15 flights of stairs again. Stephanie was very helpful tackling all these mishaps, but so much vacation time was wasted.
