Summer end family vacation

I loved that this place was right on devils lake and at a very decent price. It fit the whole family and we all loved it. Will hopefuly be back next summer

Beautiful views of the lake

We stayed for a long weekend at Lazy Lookout. The home was clean and well-equipped. We really enjoyed the kayaks (paddles and lifejackets are provided in the garage). The kids also had a lot of fun playing on the small pingpong table in the garage.

Perfect cozy place to stay. Right on the lake with a great view. Close enough to whatever you plan to do. Parking was a bit hard at times as there isn’t much room and someone had parked in one of our spots. Overall, I would recommend.

Great View of the Lake

We had a very nice stay. most of our activities were in Newport so it was quite a drive. House was very nice and well kept. Tried to contact the manager about check-in etc., No response never did get to talk to anyone

Nice location on the lake. Lots of stairs to get to shared dock, beds decent comfort, enough kitchen utensils, pots/pans, however need to bring your own oil, keurig cups or coffee, seasonings. Beautiful view of lake from deck. They requested taking shoes off at front door, however our feet got really black. Overall nice stay

Gorgeous view

This was a great house. The view Is beautiful. It had everything we needed. The outdoor firepit was great and we even took the kayaks out on the lake. My only complaint is the floors were absolutely filthy. They looked as of they hadn't been cleaned in months. Thankfully I packed Slippers because I didn't even want to walk on the floor in my socks. Other than the floors the place was perfect!

Clean and comfortable...neighbor's fireworks made it nearly intolerable for 90 minutes of so...scared my dog nearly to death...shame people aren't more courteous and attentive to others...just too loud, too close, looked dangerous

The smoke detectors were going off like crazy. We changed batteries and they still wouldn't stop. There were dead bugs all over. It was very difficult to get down to the dock. There weren't in our opinion enough bedding for the couch sofa bed.

Nice place overall.

House was very nice. Lake amenities were wonderful. Biggest issue was front door lock stick quite a bit. Clearly a known issue as door lock and know were covered in wd-40. Took 15 minutes to get in house. Called property manager 3 times but never got a person. Also, dishwasher was full of dirty dishes and laundry needed tk be folded. Again called property manager but no answer. Nice place overall but we spent a fair amount of time with those chores and also didn't want to leave because we were afraid we wouldn't be able to get in.

Nice home. Noisy neighbors.

The house was nice and clean and in much better standing then the last vacasa home I stayed at. We stayed four nights and two of those nights we had noisy neighbors. You agree to quiet hours at this property when you book. It was extremely frustrating when I complained multiple days in a row about the noise. Sometimes the neighbors were loud past midnight. They didn’t clean up after themselves and left dog poop and trash in commonly shared areas. Vacasa didn’t seem concerned yo escalate until I asked for the non-emergency police number and said I would handle it myself. We had complained for two nights before anyone reached out and they told us it was the first time they had ever heard of it. So as a whole, that was disappointing. The house was clean and the amenities were enjoyable. The pedal boat was broken and there was only one oar for the kayaks so two people couldn’t use them. The deck was covered in spiders and their webs but there was a hose to where we were able to hose off the tables. It was also nice to have games that had most of their pieces and a spare tank for the bbq. The one that was on was empty. The house was tastefully decorated and the beds were comfortable. It was nice to have full size hair dryers, straighteners, and curling irons in the bathrooms. Also, there was an ample amount of towels. One suggestion would be to perhaps have some olive oil in the kitchen and maybe a reusable K cup filter that way guests can use the keurig and not have to make an entire pot, especially since coffee isn’t provided. Also maybe upgrade the kitchen trash bags. We didn’t have spares and used ones from the bathrooms. But, the kitchen bags (and bathroom bags) broke whenever anything was put into them. The washer also needs some rebalancing but it was lovely to do our clothes before coming home. One other suggestion is when someone has a dog in the reservation maybe leave some poop bags and a set of bowls for pet use? Also maybe update the information binder as there’s no place to rent boats on the lake. It seems like the listing doesn’t exactly match what’s around and maybe update the photo since they aren’t that color anymore. Overall the home was comfortable and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay.

Beautiful!

We had everything we needed. It was an amazing lake view. Close proximity to groceries and restaurants. Short drive to the beach. Weather was amazing. Only wish I could have stayed longer.

Beautiful and comfortable lakeside condo!

Perfect for one or two couples. Great view of the lake. Decorated beautifully and simply with calm colors, higher end appliances, and smelled good and was clean upon our arrival (which is always a pleasant surprise in a dog friendly rental.) We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching jet skiers and kayakers. Nice neighborhood for walking our dog. An all around great place to enjoy the lake or the beach! We’ll be back.
