Mitt hus ligger nära Hillsdale-butiker, busslinjer, 10 minuters bilresa till Downtown Portland, 2 miles till veteraner och OHSU-sjukhus. Gå till biblioteket - Hillsdale bageri, Starbucks, glassaffär, spelbutik, över ett dussin restauranger, matvagnar. Du kommer att älska min plats på grund av platsen, atmosfären, bekvämligheten och människorna. Mitt hus är bra för par, soloäventyrare och affärsresenärer. Tesla elbilladdare i lokalerna. Vardagsrummet är STORT! Den har en stor TV med DVD-spelare. Soffan lutar sig tillbaka för att titta på en film eller kan göra sig till en queen size-säng för att ligga och titta på filmer med hänga ut. Wonder home and neighborhood

The lovely hills outside of Hillsdale with many trees. Everything was great in the home. My only problem was with vrbo and the lack of clarity about the check in process. Great hosts respond to my confusion about this. Highly recomend

Great stay!

My family of 5 (3 kids under 6) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was affordable and gave our kids plenty of room to move around which we never would've been able to get in a hotel.

Gorgeous setting

The trees surrounding this place are fantastically beautiful and give the place a very peaceful atmosphere. Everything was easy and it was exactly what we needed for a family visit over Easter weekend.

Convenient location!

We loved our stay here. Super cute and comfortable. We were 20 minutes from anywhere in Portland. Also, 60-90 minutes from the coast, Columbia River Gorge and Mt Hood.

Thanks for a great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay! This secluded neighborhood high in the hills is perfect for any family or group of friends interested in hunkering down with a few days worth of groceries to enjoy some quiet time and movie nights in peace. We particularly appreciated the selection of books and board games at the house, and it was very considerate of the host to have the smart TV logged into guest accounts on several apps for easy entertainment options.

Great Stay in Portland

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was beautiful and easy to get to all of the sites we wanted to see. The beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. The owner worked with us as our group arrived at different times and the first was very early. He allowed for early check in for us. Thanks so much!!!! Loved walking to the bakery and restaurants as well as the food truck park - all a short walk away.

pleasant stay

The property is in a lovely neighborhood and a short distance from the grocery store, coffee shop, and restaurant. The owner is responsive. The only comment we would tell others is that the heating system is on remote, so call the owner if you need help. Also, be careful of the lip in front of the fireplace. It can be a tripping hazard if you are not paying attention.

Great neighborhood house

Great house in the hillsdale neighborhood. Somehow we missed the third bed in the listing so that was a nice surprise. House was spacious for our family of four. Nice family room, big kitchen, normal bathroom with two normal sized bedrooms with comfortable mattresses. Bonus room with third bed fireplace and a breakfast nook, with great windows and nice lay dart machines. Owners live downstairs but you don’t notice at all. Great quiet street close to things to do in Portland. Especially nice to have grocery store and restaurants and ice cream an easy 10 minute walk. We will definitely stay here again when next in Portland.

Great home in a quiet neighborhood

We had a great stay! Easy check in and checkout, which made leaving a very easy process (many rentals have a long list of cleaning requirements before checkout, this was easy and didn’t take much time, so no rushing around in the morning). We stayed in a lovely quiet neighborhood up in the hills off a winding road. Neighborhood is peaceful and feels very safe. We didn’t hear from the residents staying beliw nor see him, so you don’t feel like your inconveniencing him by walking in a squeaky floorboard. House was nice and clean, although I’d be sure to replace the shower curtains every few months from all the moisture), and the home was well stocked with the basics. The only thing we would have liked is a tea kettle so you don’t need to use the coffee pot or microwave to warm your water. We have a lovely peaceful stay and would come back anytime. Thanks for sharing your wonderful home with us.

Lovely house and neighborhood

We had a very nice stay. The Hillsdale neighborhood is so pretty and very quiet,. Host was very responsive and easy to contact. There is ongoing construction of new home right next door which didn’t disturb us, but might if you’re a late sleeper. House was very clean, comfortable beds, great water pressure in shower. Plenty of towels and extra sheets/blanket. One suggestion for the host would be to better stock the kitchen. We could have used more cutlery, more sharp knives, and some additional staples such as some common spices, maybe some sugar; zip lock bags and aluminum foil would have been good too. We also would have liked to have been able to open windows. But other than these minor things, we had a great stay. Thanks Eric!

Good location, basic amenities

The location was good for exploring PDX. Kids liked the board games. The hosts were slow with communications. There were one too few towels, so we contacted them via text as directed on the instructions. However, the first host said that they couldn't help us because they were out of town and directed us to contact the other host via VRBO. That host did not respond to a text or vrbo message. We had to re contact the first host to suggest they contact the other host to help us out. After that, we received a towel. The property was adequate for our needs, with a kitchen and laundry. The kitchen had basic cooking tools, but we needed to cook some foods sequentially because of limited supplies. The stove top burners have some difficulty lighting from ignition/food buildup and one portion of the gas ovens convection was not working. The washing machine had mold growing in it. I texted the host about the stove and washing machine. Hopefully they received the text (no reply), but I'm posting here so they can address those. The bedroom that abuts the host's residence has a thin door with a 1 inch gap underneath. We could hear and smell their cooking in the evening. The floors squeak loudly in the rental property, and kids across home had a hard time sleeping when others were awake. Only 2 of 3 bedrooms had window coverings. The bathroom, front room, and bedroom windows without coverings overlook streets. There was hammering from 8 to 9 pm.

The stay was terrific. We were 3, and had enough room to spread out and relax. The house was extremely clean when we arrived. We enjoyed the kitchen - it had many options we needed. The bathroom was stocked with thick, luxurious towels. The beds were comfortable, there was storage in the bedrooms, and the closets had plenty of hangers. It was a quiet, beautiful neighborhood. Ryan was fast to respond to any questions I had.

My name is Ryan, I recently graduated college. I enjoy tutoring math, intelligent conversation/discussions, gaming, exercise. My family owns this big wonderful house. I live in the newly remodeled daylight basement, which has a separate entrance, with my father. Because my father has terrible allergies we have special filters on the house. We are fortunate to not be allergic to our friendly standard Poodle, Corky. We all love action movies, nature, reading and good food.

Varför värden valde detta boende

My parents purchased our Hillsdale home in 2013. At that time only the upstairs was finished. My parents and I lived through remodeling the backroom that has many purposes (game room, queen size murphy bed, laundry, sun porch). They also remodeled the daylight basement where we live now. We decided to make it a vacation rental as our location is amazing!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The neighborhood is older homes like ours and people use our street for walking and riding bikes. It is so close to over a dozen amazing restaurants and parks. Every Sunday during the summer, and every 2nd Sunday in the Winter, there is a farmers market just down the end of our road. We recently remodeled the daylight basement. We put in some major insulation so we can't hear our guests except for hard shoes and everyone tells us that they find our place to be very quiet.

The property also includes a Tesla Wall Connector and a NEMA 14-50 outlet for free EV charging.
