House was beautiful! We were in town for the Kentucky Derby, so everything was higher than normal, but this house was still reasonable compared to others. Location was great! Nice neighborhood within walking distance to restaurants and the river. Very peaceful and not at all concerned with safety. The upstairs suite was huge! Tons of room and everything we needed.

The property was roomy, but not incredibly clean. There was food on the dishes and the showers need a deep scrub. The door would not lock when we left and the owner never responded to messages about this.

The house is clean and conveniently located to downtown Louisville. However, the floor plan is a bit odd: the second floor bathroom is only accessible through the master suite and there are four front doors on the first floor. One bedroom is exposed with a door facing the street. Furthermore, the house is old and charming and the HVAC struggles to cool the upstairs.

Older, but beautiful house. Plenty of space for our group of four teen girls and two moms for a girls trip to the Bourbon and Beyond festival. Wonderful host who was very responsive and helpful! Cute area! Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time staying at the Victorian Center. The host was communicative and gave us a heads up about an issue inside so we knew what to expect prior to arriving. They had plenty of linens, towels, and everything else you would need to stay for a few days. This house is way bigger than pictures can perceive and it’s a beautiful house on a quiet street! Just what we were needing!

Convenient location nice neighborhood

We were in town for a basketball event at Louisville expo center. This was an ideal location close to everything but away from the clutter. Host was great would stay here again.

We hope our children learn from us as we did our Dad and can continue on the legacy one day. They are too young right now!

Varför värden valde detta boende

This home was purchased by a very dear friend of the family and her mother. Together they began an extensive remodeling project as this home is almost 100 years old. We do not know the exact age as records were lost in a fire in the early 20's. Many of the items in the house are original and are dated as early as the 1860's. When our Friend's mother passed, she decided to sell and offered the home to us first. We took it! We remodeled some more and decided to offer it to Others to enjoy as well. We hope you love it as much as we do.
