Rustikt berg Lakefront Stuga

Kom bort från allt på vår rustika bergsjöns främre stuga på Pine Island Circle. Rymlig, trädbevuxen och mycket privat mycket, landskapsarkitektur, lång cirkulär uppfart som är bra för massor av parkering och stenbana från hus till vatten och en stor båtdocka. Stor båt brygga för solstolar, koppla upp tre till fyra båtar (med eluttag för laddning av batterier) eller fiske från båda sidor av båthuset. STOR fiskeplats på Pine Island där många fisketurneringar har vunnits!
WIFI och kabel-TV.
Stort trädäck med inbyggt sittplatser och 15 fot lång picknickbord. Angränsande uteplats har kolgrill, picknickbord och täckt gunga. Vi är i mitten av en lugn vik som öppnar in i huvudkanalen i Guntersville Lake. Enkel åtkomst till närliggande offentliga lanseringar på vardera sidan av egendom 2 miles away inklusive Waterfront Grocery och lansera 2 miles nerför gatan. Vi är belägna utanför Highway 79 mellan Guntersville och Scottsboro.

Place was comfortable and clean but home needs lots of work. Bathroom is awful( tub and medicine cabinet really bad), ripped / chipped and broken furniture, ceilings were in bad shape, lights on outside broken. Broken stuff all over the place outside. Dangerous for young children. View was great

Al, Thank you for booking with me. The tub and shower is in good condition and there aren’t things “broken all over the place”. The paint is in fine shape on the ceilings. I would have been happy to hear from you to see what I could do since you were so unhappy. I really don’t know how to respond since you didn’t mention any issues during your stay even though I provided two different phone numbers to reach me in case there were any issues.

It has a beautiful view of the lake but as far as the rest of my stay (not as good). When we first got there the blind in the living room was just hanging from one side (which we fixed). The musty smell was so strong I ended up with a sore throat and my chest hurt from breathing it. We tried to air it out but kept getting little bugs all in the house. When I went outside there was bullets for a 22 all over the area by the grill I picked up 18 of them and threw them away. It is a pretty place I was just disappointed cause I paid for 3 nights but because of the way I felt after the first night I just couldn’t stay the next 2 so we had to leave.

Hi Mary, Thank you for booking with me. The cottage is right next to the water, so it’s normal to get a little musty if it’s been locked up for more than a day. I had Guests checked out 3 days before your stay and Guests check in right after you and they both said everything was fine. Since it was locked up for 2 or 3 days, thats why I over-communicated with you to air it out when you got there. I’m so sorry you didn’t enjoy your stay.

If you are looking for a lakefront home that is clean and affordable look no further. This was exactly what we wanted and we enjoyed our stay here. Quiet (except for the crickets at night lol) and simplistic, it was like stepping into grandmas house. Would 100% stay here again.

Perfect location and beautiful property. Will be back to this one. Secluded and relaxing. The wildlife and a couple of sweet neighboring dogs made for a wonderful weekend. This spot is popular for a reason. Hope we can bring the kayaks next time. Thank you for a great getaway!

Joyce was welcoming and responsive when we had a question. The cabin is old but it was clean and everything worked as it should. We love the location and that it is also pet friendly. Our dogs enjoyed the stay as much as we did. This was our second time staying at Bishops Bay, we will be returning.

Great location and convenience for a fishing trip. Might be leaving on the term rustic little too heavy. Bath tub and shower need major attention. Furniture could use an upgrade as well. Idea location just really needs some TLC.

Although the shower is very functional, we are working to make it a little nicer! Everything was good for the stay. The only issue was getting boat backed in. Anything longer than 21 foot boat may not fit. Other than that this is a very nice place to stay and awesome view.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. I love rustic and this was rustic with a lot of character. I live how the house was decorated. The views of the lake were absolutely breathtaking. The sunrise on the lake was soothing. The beds were comfortable. Some might take issue that some things are dated and need some work. The beauty and rustic vibes totally made it for us. We will stay here again.

This was our first time here and we absolutely will be back!! The view is beautiful. We loved sitting out by the fire pit at night. It was very comfortable. There were books and games for my son to read and play with which he loved! Only complaint I have is I couldn’t stay longer!!

Great location in the heart of the beat fishing

This was an older property but exceptionally clean, very comfortable, furnishings and beds and right on the water in one of the prime Fishing locations on Lake Guntersville. Property owner was very responsive and kept us informed prior to in during our trip.
