Beläget på en återvändsgränd, rymlig 2 sovrum, 1 badrum med komplett badrum och egen ingång. 20 tunnland skog och ängar rikligt med vilda djur omger dig.
Ett sovrum har en queen size-säng med en skummadrass. Ett annat sovrum har en full säng. Alla Lands End sängkläder och handdukar tillhandahålls. Central luft, gott om parkering för en båt. 43 tums platt-TV med satellitservice och en gasgrill.
Lägenheten har också ett komplett möblerat kök med kylskåp, elektrisk räckvidd / ugn, mikrovågsugn, brödrost, kaffebryggare och alla disk och tillbehör du behöver.
Baspriset är för två personer, en extra avgift på $ 10 per dag, per person kommer att tillkomma. Maximal beläggning är fyra vuxna. Inga barn.

Beautiful natural country setting with a very comfortable and well appointed separate apartment on owners property. Joan & Steve are very accommodating and leave many thoughtful ‘surprise and delight’ home baked treats, bonfire ’concierge’ service, and many local tips. A true reTREAT !!!

It was tranquil, clean and everything I needed. Close to town, but far enough away to enjoy the countryside. The hosts were present, friendly, knowledgeable about the area and brought us cookies to welcome us. 15 minutes from a charging station for electric cars.

The Doorstop and hosts Joan and Steve were very attentive and ensured we had everything we needed. The rental was small but very clean and neat and the spot serene and off the beaten track but not far from many other places of interest. We enjoyed viewing the wildlife, including birds, turkeys and deer.

The space is roomy, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed getting to know Joan and Steve. We've stayed at several places in the Sturgeon Bay area and this is the first we plan on using again. Five stars!

Our stay was wonderful. Steve and Joan are wonderful friendly hosts. The place was very comfortable and in a beautiful quiet location. Check in was super easy and the place had all the amenities you would need. Hosts were quick to answer any questions. Joan even made us a delicious breakfast snack to have with our coffee. I would definitely stay here again if ever in the area.

I can not stress enough about how clean this place is! The decorations, colors, furniture, beds are so relaxing! The kitchen is extremely well equipped to handle all types of cooking/baking needs! The owners are friendly and make you feel as if you're family. Even though it's a bit of a drive to get to Sturgeon Bay, it's well worth it! I highly recommend this place!

Peaceful homebase in Door County

Joan and Steve were amazing hosts, from fresh baked cherry pie to making and lighting fires for us in the evening. The space is spotless, the beds and linens top rate, and the peace and quiet was wonderful. If you're looking for a serene homebase for exploring Door County, even in the height of the summer season, this is your place!

Adorable and Perfect Door County Get Away

Joan and Steve we're so kind and inviting! The property was a perfect size for our small girls trip to door county. They gave us tips and multiple pamphlets on places around the area. Definitely reccomend to anyone looking to go to door county!

Great location, especially if you want to vacation like a local. The hosts are very sweet and offered some fantastic recommendations of places to go see. When got back one of the nights they even lit a camp fire for us at a private fire pit (separate from theirs). Top notch place with top notch hosts! Highly recommend.

Door County Fall Getaway

This place is awesome, as well as the owners! It is updated with all the comforts of home and priced comparable (or lower) than most hotels with not nearly the amenities that this one has. This is an annual trip for us!

It really couldn't be any better.

My brother (58) and I (70) came from Northern Illinois for a couple of days fishing in late Sept. 2024. The Doorstop was perfect for our needs. It's a two-bedroom upper in immaculate condition. It's very modern, clean and very tastefully decorated. The bathroom is super clean with a full-sized shower. Ladies will really appreciate it. The property owners, Steve and Joan, live on the property. They're very attentive to needs and questions, but they do not intrude at all. Really nice people! You can't go wrong at the Doorstop!

Tranquility base

Very nice property, 20 acres on dead end road with lots of wildlife. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place! Beautifully decorated apartment with every amenity.

Weekend away

Joan and Steve were wonderful hosts. Greeted us when we arrived. Accommodations were spotless and had all we needed. Neighborhood was quiet and if you like birds there were numerous verities including turkeys. Were able to take advantage of local activities including boat tour and trolley tour. Enjoyed eating at the Fireside Restirant. Would recommend highly
