Beläget i Quartier Latin, nära den berömda Rue Mouffetard, vår lägenhet, över 80m2, som består av ett stort vardagsrum och två rymliga sovrum, är omgiven av en grönskande och blommande terrass med en pergola för måltider . Från lägenheten eller från terrassen, kan besökarna beundra taken i Paris och njuta av en enastående utsikt. De kan också vila positivt eftersom lägenheten är bekvämt, lugnt och soligt.

Quartier Latin är förmodligen en av de trevligaste områdena i Paris. Vår lägenhet ligger mellan rue Mouffetard och Place Monge. Det råder en mycket parisiska stadsdel liv. Tack vare sina universitet, ungdomar är många och bokhandlar, biografer, kaféer och små restauranger.
På 200 meter, kan resenärer också njuta av Arenes de Lutece och Jardin des Plantes, både unika och historiska platser i Paris

Detta område är också mycket lätt gå. På Place Monge, är en öppen marknad hålls tre gånger i veckan (onsdag, fredag, söndag). Resenärer kan hitta all mat de behöver, inklusive biologisk. Det finns också flera närliggande stormarknader, öppen varje dag i veckan, banker, apotek, bagerier, bakverk .....

Slutligen, två tunnelbanelinjer (linje 7 och 10), tillgängliga stationer Place Monge eller Cardinal Lemoine, möjliggöra enkel och snabb rörelse i Paris.
Dessutom är busshållplats nr 47 50 meter från byggnaden. Denna linje korsar Paris, gå till platser att besöka först.

Resenärer har hela lägenheten och privat terrass. För alla att njuta av, alla rum öppnar mot terrassen

Vår lägenhet är mycket bekväma och välutrustade. I vardagsrummet har två stora fönster, en i omgång 4 meter lång, 2 meter från varandra, vilket både ger tillgång till terrassen och matplats under pergola.

Det stora sovrummet en har en dubbelexponering och en stor fransk fönster som ger tillgång till terrassen. Vyn över hustaken i Paris är unik och vara säker på en stor kvalitet (180x200).

Kammaren 2 kan vara TV-show, men också ett rum för ett par eller två barn med två sängar mycket lätt att vika. Om det behövs, möjlighet till en vikbar spjälsäng. I detta rum, också en mycket stor garderob tillgänglig för resande.

Kök och badrum är mycket väl utrustade och behagligt att leva.

A Parisienne Gem

A lovely Latin Quarter apartment is an absolute gem! Beautifully situated on the 6th floor with a garden balcony to enjoy the morning coffee or afternoon tea with the surrounding Paris view. It is safe & secure. Centrally located near the Metro, market, boulangerie, and restaurants. Comfortable and charming apartment in Paris

My wife and I loved the tastefully and well-appointed apartment. The balcony garden with tables and chairs was a highlight. The location was great, just a couple of blocks from a bustling dining and commercial neighborhood, and within walking distance of many sites and activities in central Paris. Catherine, the host, was very responsive to our communications and made our stay a great pleasure. We would love a return trip someday.

Beautiful Place to Stay for the Olympics

We stayed at this beautiful apartment for 8 days while enjoying the Olympics. Having stayed in Paris previously, I was not looking forward to the small hotel spaces- and this was NOT small. We each had a bedroom, a beautiful living area to relax in, a full kitchen to prep/warm meals, bathroom with a washer. The wraparound terrace was beautifully adorned with flowers and plants. The neighborhood was quiet (except for the construction taking place every morning, but that is temporary). The only drawback was the apartment didn’t have air conditioning- however, the location and positioning of the apartment allowed for breezes and a comfortable flow of air that kept the unit cool- at times a little cold. :). We had a magnificent stay— the Olympics were amazing and being able to come home every night to a beautiful, safe and welcoming place made our time in Paris just that much better. Our hosts were gracious, helpful, warm and overall beautiful people. Catherine made sure we had everything we needed and her husband even gifted us a bottle of wine to start our stay! We will definitely return when heading back to Paris!

Host was most welcoming, spoke excellent English, and explained all that I needed to know. Very comfortable place! Great views from the wrap around porch. Well equipped kitchen. Easy walk to surrounding areas especially Jardin des Plantes( down hill) and the Pantheon(up hill), and access to Metro just a block away! Felt like home to me!

A moveable feast.

Ten years ago, Teresa and I were in Paris for a two week stay, within a block of the Champ du Mars and the Eiffel Tower. We were younger and walked everywhere and saw all we wanted to see. This year, at the age of 72 and 70 years, we had the choice of Germany and Switzerland and France for a whirlwind vacation spanning three weeks, or a 21-day stay in one place; my wife chose three weeks in Paris, and found this gem of an apartment, with a large kitchen and a wraparound balcony overlooking the rooftops of Paris, and it turned out to be the best choice we could have possibly made. For Teresa, the Farmers Market, one block away was perfect for homemade meals; the pharmacy and grocery stores were a two minute walk away, and even Notre Dame was within our personal range, and me with a wonky hip. For myself, Ernest Hemingway, Victor Hugo, La Contrescarpe and Rue Mouffetard were one block away, along with the Pantheon and the church of St Etienne du Mont (Midnight in Paris) were our neighbors in this historic Latin Quarter. We found a great restaurant and a talented bartender to keep us fed and entertained, for weeks. We used the Metro once, and G7 taxis a lot, and loved it. We could go on and on, but want you to have your own impressions, though we will say “You will not be disappointed!” We’ve thanked the landlord and family for the distinct privilege of sharing their home and for the many memories we will relive for the rest of our lives. ❤️❤️

Amazing Terrace!

We had such an amazing stay and Catherine was very helpful as we had a very late arrival!! Latin Quarter was so wonderful to explore and enjoy the night life. We sat and enjoyed the terrace every night with the view of the top of the Eiffel Tower and Pantheon.

Perfect accommodation

This property is fantastic, perfect for a family of three. Immaculately clean with extremely comfortable beds and a well-appointed kitchen. The crowning feature is the garden terrace. Because it was summer and we were out exploring most of the time, other than sleeping we spent the mornings and evenings enjoying and cooling off on the terrace. It has sweeping views of the city and lovely flowers. Catherine was an excellent communicator and host. The surrounding neighborhood is charming and beautiful. We hope to return. Thank you!

Exceptional home in great location

From the moment we entered this amazing apartment, we felt at home. All of our needs were anticipated and met to the highest standard. Best of all, Catherine was warm and responsive to our queries and double-checked that we were comfortable. The apartment itself is spacious and beautifully furnished, with plentiful sunlight and privacy. A natural breeze kept us comfortable ---even during a heatwave and 106 degree daytime temperatures, the wraparound terrace was pleasant for late evening meals. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful experience

In three extended visits to Paris, this was by far the greatest place we’ve stayed in. Amazing neighborhood, with everything you need close at hand. A farmers’ market a block away 3 times a week. 2 metro stations within a few blocks, one going to the left bank the other going to the right. All manner of excellent French and ethnic restaurants nearby. 6 bakeries within a few blocks! The huge Jardin Des Plantes 4 blocks away. Best of all, the apartment itself is a home, not just a rental property. I could go on and on about the quality of the bed, the kitchen and everything else. To top it off, there is an very large balcony that wraps around the South And West sides with views you never tire of. Saving the best for last, the hosts are gracious and helpful. I only hope it will be available when next we visit Paris.

Great View and Location

Our stay in Paris was enhanced by spending time on the lovely terrace enjoying Parisian sunsets. The apartment is very clean with all the amenities needed for a comfortable visit. Grocery stores, wine stores, bakeries, cafes and restaurants were all in easy walking distance, as was the metro stop. A great farmers market is available nearby three days a week. Communication with our hosts was excellent. I would definitely stay here again! The property is as lovely as it looks in the pictures.

The best of my many Paris vacation rentals

More than a perch -- a real home, superbly comfortable and beautiful apartment, well laid out with high quality furnishings everywhere. The beautiful plantings and the wrap-around terrace was a constant delight and the unobstructed views even gave us the full moon all night. The kitchen is so well equipped I invited friends and cooked fresh food from the nearby farmer's market. Catherine could not have been more pleasant and flexible as our travel plans kept changing. Giving this apartment my highest recommendation.

Amazing Latin Quarter Find

Well-appointed 6th floor apartment ideally situated near Rue Moufftard and Place Contrescarpe with 180 degree views from a beautiful garden terrace; an incredibly responsive and kind host; within walking distance of the Seine, the Louvre, the Pantheon, Musee d'Orsay, Sainte-Chapelle, and many other sites; 2 minutes from Place Mongue Metro station. Absolutely incredible stay!

Where do I begin to express just how wonderful our experience was at Catherine’s beautiful, Parisian apartment! Catherine is a consummate host, so kind and easy to communicate with. The apartment is perfectly located near lively squares with many cafes/restaurants, markets and shops. Two metro lines make it easy to get everywhere. The apartment is very spacious, modern and comfortable but the absolute “piece de resistance” is the gorgeous, flower filled wrap around terrace with unbelievable views of the Paris rooftops !! We just loved opening up the doors to the fresh air and sitting outside to eat or have a drink each day after wandering the city. We could not have asked for a better place to stay and would definitely love to visit again!

Perfect Location!

My mother and I had the most wonderful stay at Catherine's beautiful flat in the Latin Quarter. The house is spotless and very comfortable. Perfectly located to leisurely walk down to the Seine or hop on the Metro. The views from the balcony extend into the living room and are absolutely beautiful. I'm so happy that we stayed here and if I ever return to Paris would not hesitate to return to Catherine's lovely home.

Beautiful!

My family stayed at Jardin des Plantes 7/15 - 7/19. Wow, did we love the patio and views. The apartment is quite comfortable for our family of 3 with plenty of space. A market is within walking distance and there is easy access to the Metro. We enjoyed walking along the Seine and enjoying a glass of wine on the balcony. Lovely Paris apartment in the perfect location

We loved our two-week stay and didn't want to leave! This beautifully decorated apartment is spacious, includes a wrap-around terrace for dining, sunning, reading and enjoying the city views, and has a well-equipped kitchen for those who want to cook. The king-sized bed was very comfortable. The metro line (#7) is a block away and convenient travel to most destinations, and easy to use. The neighborhood is charming and quiet with cafes, bakeries and shops nearby. You can find fresh produce, meat, cheese and fish at the open market one block from the apartment three-days a week. There is no better place to stay than this beautiful apartment. The hosts were very gracious and accomodating.

Absolutely lovely.

This was our 2nd stay at Catherine Burdin's superb apartment on rue Lacépède in Paris 5e. We had been blown away, last year, by the 180 degree terrasse that crowns the apartment (6e étage) and gives you a view of about half of Paris! So we vowed to return this year and were no less blown away. This time, though, we developed more appreciation for the quiet, uncluttered beauty of the interior, as well as the always-magnificent terrasse. Catherine is a lovely hostess, not only leaving a well-stocked apartment but offering advice about all the shops and the restaurants in the quartier. (Offering, not insisting: she is the soul of discretion, and what she most wants is for her tenants to have a marvelous time at her place: we certainly did.) For us (who've been going to Paris for 50 years and once had our own apartment there), Catherine's place on rue Lacépède is simply perfect. This part of Paris is at once as quiet and secluded as you want, and as bustling and full of places to go/things to see as you could wish. We shall return to her flat, again and again: its virtues are inexhaustible.

Wonderful two week stay at Catherine’s Parisian view apartment in fun,centrally located neighborhoo.

We had an amazing two week stay at Catherine’s view apartment. We were warmly welcomed by Catherine’s daughter Fanny and were left wine, coffee, tea and staples. The apartment was immaculate and incredibly well equipped. We’ve stayed in many Parisian apartments, but this one is my favorite by far. We ate many snacks and meals on the gorgeous plant filled terrace complete with views of the Eiffel Tower which sparkles dramatically every hour. The apartment is convenient to two different metro lines: Place Monge and Cardinal Lemoine and we found it easy to get anywhere in the city we wanted to go. Next door is a good supermarket and there’s a Farmers Market at Place Monge several times a week. The apartment was large enough for the three of us and had beautiful views from the living room/dining room and both bedrooms. We were in town during the heat wave, but both bedrooms had portable fans and the master had motorized shades. The cross breezes from all the doors and windows allowed us to remain comfortable even during the extreme summer temperatures. The shower/bidet room is separated from the toilet room making it easy to share. Down the block from the apartment is Place Contrescarpe which had outdoor cafes for coffee, lunch or drinks with musicians playing at night. Along the square is Rue Mouffetard with many restaurants plus a bakery Anthony Bosson, which had the most amazing chocolate almond croissants I’ve ever eaten in my entire life, plus great breads, pastries, and lunch salads to go. I’m glad we didn’t discover that bakery till later in our stay or my pants would be much tighter! This apartment felt like a home rather than a rental, and it was very hard to leave! We hope to return soon! Thank you Catherine and Fanny!

Ideal Paris location

This apartment is delightful and suited our needs perfectly. It's clean, quiet, and comfortable. The terrace is lovely, although weather-dependent, of course. The location was great. It's a short walk to the Metro and to a cool bar/restaurant scene at Place de la Contrescarpe. One word of advice to those arriving at Charles deGaulle Airport: don't try to come into town via public transport, especially with heavy luggage. You'll have to change trains at Gare du Nord and again at Chatelet, involving many stairs. Use taxi or Uber; you'll be glad you did!
