Big Oak Cabin - hög i Ozarks söder om Jasper!

Big Oak Cabin är ett bekvämt, fullt möblerat split-level hem i den högsta regionen av Ozark Mountains på 2.200 fot. Detta är ett mycket större hem än det ser framifrån! Big Oak Cabin är bekvämt beläget längs Hwy 7, på västra sidan av motorvägen. Vår fridfulla stuga har ett stort, avkopplande främre däck och också ett förhöjt, lika stort västläge bakre däck med utsikt över en damm och varifrån du kan se strålande solnedgångar! Big Oak Cabin ligger bara några miles från Buffalo River och många exceptionella vandringsleder till vattenfall och natursköna platser.

En av de bästa egenskaperna att stanna hos oss är, vi ägare är mycket välinformerade om området och har fungerat som guider till många spår. Vi känner till regionen väldigt bra och ger dig gärna all den detaljerade informationen du behöver för att hitta någon form av spår eller attraktion.

Big Oak Cabin är bara en halv mil från den majestätiska Cliff House Restaurant och fem miles söder om den pittoreska staden Jasper. Och vår egendom består av fem hektar av ganska varierad terräng som du kan roa och njuta av medan du bor på vår stuga.

Dennis texted early in the day to say we could check in then, it was ready for us! That was a wonderful surprise. The cabin was adorable and spotless, and the most well-equipped place we have ever rented. We are already looking at dates to go back with friends!

Last minute spring break trip

This place was a gem! The location was perfect and the house was roomy and comfortable. It had everything we needed and the owners were quick to respond. We definitely will be renting again.

Just perfect

Clean, comfortable, well-equipped. Not fancy, but neither are we! Great location for everything we wanted to do. Appreciated being able to have our dog with us, as well as the communication about hikes to waterfalls and gorgeous overlooks!

Relaxation at its best

The cabin, grounds and location to things was superior. We could live there. Privacy when we needed it. Family time with plenty of room. Great time.

Good property if you're looking for a base camp to ride the Ozarks

The Big Oak Cabin was an excellent choice to stay for Bob and I. From there we were able to enjoy riding our motorcycles on some of the best roads Arkansas has to offer. The cabin offers everything we needed to cook our own meals, do our laundry, store our bikes out of the weather and sleep. What more could you ask for?

Awesome getaway

Close to Buffalo river and the kids enjoyed fishing in the pond. Caught and released a couple of channel cats, the girls had a blast.

Birthday trip

Took a relaxing trip and saw the elk . Glory hope hope was good for us and the dogs. We ate at the ozark cafe , it was very good . Directions to the house were good too. Only negative was neighbor had yappy dogs every time we went outside.

Spacious cabin

Enjoyed our stay at this spacious two story cabin on AR7 near Jasper. Due to the terrain, both floors are accessible from outside: upper story from front of house, lower floor from rear. Enjoyed having dinner on the upstairs rear porch and enjoyed the sunshine. Everything was clean and well stocked and well cared for.

Comfortable

At first the accommodations appeared dated and questionable, but once unpacked and relaxed, the place grew on us. Everything was comfortable, clean and convenient. The old oak tree grew on us, and it was so nice to sit on the porches and experience the fall weather. As we left, we commented on how much we enjoyed your place and it's quiet, setting. fall weather.

Spring Break Trip with the Family and Dogs

My partner and I and our two kids (ages 12 and 14) and two dogs stayed for two nights. The property was clean and exactly what we were expecting based on the listing. The hosts are absolutely fantastic and very communicative-Dennis sent us a list of hikes in the area. We very much appreciated the little details that were available to us - firewood, spices, cookware, laundry, and toiletries. Made our short stay so easy and relaxing! We will definitely book again in the future and highly recommend this property and hosts! P.S. We also highly recommend checking out Fern Falls! Very close to the cabin and a short and easy hike to a beautiful waterfall! Thank you for sharing the link to the falls in the area, Dennis!

Waterfalls Hunting trip

We planned 4 days of hiking and Buffalo River time. Unfortunately the last 2 days were a rain out. But this cabin was cozy and had plenty to do. We played card games and even caught and released at the pond.

New year’s visit

The house was very charming. Would be great for an extended family visit because it had a living area on each floor. Close to all the hiking we wanted to do.

The Ozarks are abundant in trails that are easily hiked by almost anyone, while also having very challenging options. Varför värden valde detta boende

We fell in love with Big Oak Cabin back when it was only a private residence, and bought it to enjoy it for our own trips, as well as to share with others. Its immense trees, including "Big Oak" himself (the 350 year old tree out front) give the property an amazing character. We've never found anywhere so relaxing.
