Lovely place to stay. Made very welcome, owners gave us a summary of places to see and visit. Place was spotless and very well equipped. Would highly recommend for anyone wishing to sightsee around that area.

Delightful bite in a great location

My husband and I spent a relaxing week in Mark and Sylvia’s lovely gite. It was just as the photos and description portrayed and equipped with everything needed to make it feel like a home from home! Mark and Slyvie were exceptional hosts, very accessible but not intrusive, and full of information about local events and places to visit. We cannot recommend their gite highly enough.

Fantastic experience in a delightful home and warm helpful owners.

The view of the Vesere Valley's undulatinng hills and woods is a showstopper but it didn't end there. Architectural details preserved and wrapped in the convenience of a modern home. Sylvie and Mark are delightful.

Summer Holiday

Beautiful property in a beautiful location, with excellent views of the surrounding countryside. We had not visited this part of France before so had planned where we wanted to visit. Our hosts local knowledge and information helped to fully enhance our holiday experience. Looking forward to returning some time in the future.

We Enjoyed a Great 10-day Stay

Mark and Sylvie have created a beautiful life in Rouffignac, and have masterfully renovated two older traditional stone houses into very comfortably modernized gîtes that maintain the character and charm of the past. There is a great number of activities to do in the immediate region. Even with ten days there is still so much more we would have liked to enjoy.

Sylvie and Mark were welcoming and provided us with much local information. The property was mostly to our expectations. The stairs to the bedrooms are very steep and not suitable for everyone especially as there is no upstairs toilet. Also the nearby road which looks like a lane in the photographs is quite busy and noisy at times. However we did enjoy our stay

Lovely place situated in the most beautiful part of Dordogne, near historic places/patrimony, lot of activities nearby like canoing on the river, walks, horseriding etc.The host are really nice french/english family and professional hosts.The house is clean and nice with airconditioning. Heerlijk huis met prachtig uitzicht. De eigenaars spreken zowel Frans als Nederlands en zijn heel vriendelijk. Parkeren kan naast het huis. De keuken is voorzien alle nodige apparatuur. Helaas geen toilet op de verdieping, wat lastig is voor de wat oudere en minder mobiele bezoeker. Prima plek in de Dordogne om de omgeving te verkennen.We komen er graag nog eens.

Un très joli séjour à Rouffignac

beau gite spacieux et récemment renové. Très confortable et bien équipé. Avec vue et piscine en prime. Communication et accueil efficaces, cordiaux et simples. Rouffignac est un village où l'on trouve des commerces et un marché très utiles. La grotte est exceptionnelle.

Excellent séjour

Super séjour aux environ de perigueux. Très beau village à 25/30 minutes de perigueux. La maison est superbe et très spacieuse. Aménagée avec goût et surtout, efficacité. Pas de chichi et de surplu. Le nécessaire juste top ! Je recommande vraiment ce logement et j y retournerais avec plaisir. Les hôtes sont très gentils et très accessibles aussi. Je conseil et recommande. Merci pour ce beau séjour.

Endroit et accueil parfait

Un excellent moment de cette location. Un accueil souriant et bienveillant, une location d'une propreté exemplaire, une literie un tres bon état, des draps qui sentent bons la lessive, des petites choses laissées pour notre arrivée (lessive, gel lavant, café, sucre) et qui sont très utiles. Une vue magnifique avec panorama au top. Merci à vous Sylvie pour cet accueil sympathique et vos crêpes excellentes.
