Awesome stay in Rockland

We absolutely loved staying here! It was such a cozy and comfortable place for my family to relax after long days of touring the area! The hosts left us detailed instructions which made the stay super easy to follow!

We enjoyed our stay at the Rockland property. It was a great location to be close to downtown Rockland, close to the ferry terminal, and was a very cozy place to stay. We would stay there again!

Great unique place to stay

Very cool to stay in an old Sea Captain's Home. So many cool antiques, books, artwork and things to discover in the rental. The hosts Cathy and George were so helpful and recommended all the best things to do and restaurants to experience.

It was such a sweet place! My husband is a builder and enjoyed the history and uniqueness of this house. Bedding was great. I would recommend this rental and would stay here again.

The property was comfortable and Centrally located to our travels. Booth Bay to Bar Harbor. Plenty of good restaurants , why bother to cook! Great people and a Great location!!

Cozy and Comfortable

This was a great getaway with everything you need. Great artwork, books and antiques. Living room is so cozy with the wood stove, couches and chairs. Beds were very comfy. We loved this place.

Charming house with nice art and homey touches

I appreciated the hosts contacting me to make sure we knew how to get to the property, where to park, and how to access the upstairs apartment. The beds were super comfortable, good water pressure in the shower and the kitchen was well appointed. Would definitely stay here again!

As charming as it gets!

We spent a long weekend here and very much enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were fantastic. Surprisingly spacious and well appointed apartment. Hosts graciously accepted our two dogs and two children. We'd love to go back someday!

We loved visiting Rockland for the Lobster Festival. The house was the perfect location. It was spacious for 4 adults and we were even allowed to bring our pets. Quick stay

Some friends and i needed a stay for 1 night and we found this listing. The house is very cute and cozy! Very clean and comfy beds as well. The walk into town isnt bad either so youre able to explore and not have to qorry about parking

Beautiful. Comfortable. Historical.

We loved staying at this beautiful and comfortable historical home. The owners were friendly and responsive. The fantastic location enabled us to walk to the gorgeous lighthouse at sunset and stroll to downtown Rockland during the day. Also an easy drive to Acadia National Park for a day trip. Only downside: leaving! Thank you for a wonderful three days!!

George is a boatbuilder and yacht architect as well as a skilled carpenter and woodworker. Together Cathy and George have lovingly restored, renovated and furnished the grand 1862 Sea Captain's House to make two elegant apartments

Although it was in rather a sad state, we fell in love with the house at first sight, and couldn't resist the lure of restoring this gracious historic old sea-captain's house to it's earlier glory.
