Ljus öppen planlösning med skjutreglage till flera däck med utsikt över vattnet och lounger för att koppla av och njuta av sommarstrålar. Kitchen was well appointed and again a lovelyview of the river. The furnishings were comfortable and lots of books relating to the area, we even got to complete a jigsaw. Outside shower was too rustic to use.

Perfect location and a beautiful view

This property was delightful! The views of the Bass River are spectacular. We spent so much time on the deck and in the yard and enjoyed watching all the activity during the day and the sunsets at night. There are kayaks and paddle boards available to rent just on the other side of the river and the beach was a short car or bike ride away. You just can't beat the location of this property! Mid-cape (the best IMO), right on the Bass River, minutes to West Dennis Beach and close to shopping. The home is spacious, comfortable and has everything you could need. We had my elderly mother on this trip and it was a huge bonus to have a first floor bedroom and full bath.

Great Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've stayed here previously, so there were a couple things that seemed to stand out as different. The coffee pot did not stay warm at all after brewing - we just couldn't figure that one out. Family was also not thrilled with the fuzzy bed covers, as bedspreads were no longer available. BUT - these were minor inconveniences compared to the weeklong enjoyment we had at this site.

Thank you very much for your feedback! Unfortunately with COVID, we had asked owners to use blankets that would be easy to launder, vs. the nicer quilts. Hopefully in 2022, we will be back to the normal spreads! As far as the coffee maker, give us a call next time and we could bring over a new coffee maker and/or figure it out for you! We are happy you still had a great vacation and hope to have you back for next year!

The home is very well appointed with everything you need. The master bedroom is spacious with beautiful views and the bunk room has its own bath and is perfect for kids/teens. There is also a first floor bedroom and bath that was perfect for my elderly mom who was with us. The one con is that the home does not have A/C. However, each bedroom has an A/C unit and the breeze off the river kept us comfortable even on the hottest days.

Reviewer Comments: While I was initially happy with choosing this property for a family vacation with some of my siblings, after getting to the property there were a number of things I did not realize how important they would be like the attached garage (for Coolers, bikes, golf clubs, beach chairs, fishing gear, etc.) and decks on 3 sides of the house to stay in the sun or find some shade...depending on the day. After spending a couple day at this property, I was even happier I chose this house over others, for these reasons and more. the only thing that would have made it better would have been some AC in the living space. While being inside was the last thing anyone would want to do on a summer vacation, I believe we experienced record breaking heat and on a few occasions, some AC in the livings space would have been welcome, but who can complain about a hot and sunny summer vacation:). It was a wonderful place and a wonderful time with my family.

It was our second year here and will continue to come back as time allows and use Martha Murray Vacation Rentals to do it! Our party of 6 adults and 2 children had plenty of room and space for group time as well as places to have “ me” time. A real gem!
