Beautiful Views and Plenty of Space

We loved this property! The views were amazing - the photos don't do it justice. We also loved the open spaces in the home. The furniture is comfortable, the house was clean and we could all share a meal and time together without feeling cramped. The deck is great and we are literally about to buy the same grill. We love the Dennis Port/Harwich Port area so the location was perfect for us. We would definitely rent here again!

Perfect Family Cottage

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at this cottage. Having access to the pond was such a big hit with the whole family. Plenty of room for the adults to enjoy time on the deck and the kids played in the living room. The only issue was the parking. If the middle garden of the driveway was gone it would be easier to maneuver the cars. Other than that we loved our stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this house 6yrs ago so we were excited to return!! Plenty of room for my growing family. Love new outdoor shower & changes to boat dock area. Favorite spot is the deck, overlooking the pond with amazing sunsets. Weather was not the best this year, but plenty of activities indoor & out on the Cape ..lots of fun family time!! Cannot wait to return next summer 😊

Wonderful Time With the Family, House Could be Updated

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The whole reason for renting this house was the lake, and the views did not disappoint! We spent lots of time on the outside deck and my boys spent lots of time fishing on the dock (unfortunately didn't catch anything all week but they still had fun). We rented a kayak from Cape Cod Waterways (very nice company) for the week so we were also on the water a lot. The house location is great! We loved being close enough to everything. This trip was with extended family and the open concept upstairs was great for the nights we stayed in and played games or watched tv together. Having the downstairs living area for the kids was great too! Honestly the only downside for us were the downstairs bedrooms. The mattresses are old and we woke up with back pain. And it does get a bit musty. There is a dehumidifier in the twin bedroom, which I had two empty at least twice a day. We tried to open the windows and air out the downstairs as often as we could and that worked. Overall, not a deal breaker and we would rent here again!

Hi Lynda, thank you for your review. We're sorry that the lower level was not a "breath of fresh air"- between the humidity and being right on the water, it is an uphill battle. We will suggest that the owner look at getting a new dehumidifier to hopefully help address this issue. We hope to see you again next year!

Nice House Overall

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was nice, great deck and very clean. It was missing a few key things. An outside shower would really be helpful. There is no outside water at the house at ALL. This makes keeping the clean difficult. Also a serious lack of cookware. No big pot or pot with a lid.

Thank you for your feedback. In the future, if you need pots and pans, we have extra in the office and would have been happy to bring some over. The owner had a crack in the outside pipe and hopes to have it repaired before the 2024 season. We forward feedback to owners, so thank you for taking the time to review this home!

Beautiful View

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Not much negative at all to say about this house. For us parking didn’t cut it and not enough silverware. (Everyone coming from different locations). We figured out where to park our extra cars and the silverwear was a minor thing. House was extremely clean and the beds very comfortable. The dock was super nice and the kids “18-25” (boys) loved finding crabs and jelly fish. Agency was excellent. Very organized. Rent this without worries. You will love it.

August Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The people at Martha Murray provide outstanding customer service. We have rented through them for years. Through no fault of theirs, we were without a functioning refrigerator for about one week of our two-week vacation. This is the second year we rented this home. The view is great, and the home itself is clean and functional, although a bit worn. Also, the basement air conditioners have a dehumidifier function that helped immensely once we figured out how to turn on that function. We recommend Martha Murray Vacations and Properties to all of our friends.
