Plats, plats, plats! Min stuga ligger inom 6 miles från New River Gorge Bridge i ett avskilt skogsområde. Stugan har två sovrum och en bäddsoffa, ett fullt utrustat kök och en badtunna. Kabinen är 6 miles från Adventures on the Gorge (AOTG). AOTG är den största äventyrsstaden i staten. De erbjuder whitewater rafting, zip linjer (2 kurser), bergsklättring / rappelling, mountainbike, Timber Trek (hinderbana i träden-ny), färgboll, stå upp paddle boarding, kajakpaddling och mycket mer. De har tre restauranger / barer. Jag är grundare och pensionär VD för AOTG och jag skulle gärna hjälpa dig att planera din resa eller svara på några frågor om orten eller området i allmänhet.

När du besöker Fayetteville hittar du en liten stad med mycket på gång. Det är ett bra ställe att besöka på semestervänliga människor, bra shopping / restauranger, atmosfären i lilla staden och världsklassens spänningar, precis intill New River Gorge National River och Bridge. Smaka på spänning och en önskan att koppla av. Vi tar hand om resten.

Paul was a fantastic host. He was timely with accurate communication. The cabin was very thoughtfully appointed and we had everything we needed or wanted for the week. We cooked the majority of our meals and enjoyed the well equipped kitchen and grill. The cabin was clean and cozy and the whole property was very well maintained. I highly recommend these cabins for a serene getaway or a family fun vacation!

I would like to add some context to Alicia comments. The beds in both rooms are queen mattresses. This is her mistake. Her group did exceed our capacity (she brought 7 guests) and had pets so maybe that is why it felt smaller to her. The reason for the height of the grass is we experienced 12 straight days of rain in our area. Alicia checked in Wednesday and the grass was cut Thursday afternoon, which was the first dry day in almost two weeks. We spoke with her group and explained that to them then.

We loved staying at Mountaneer Cabin 2. The location was perfect! We enjoyed easily getting to the park and in a day and a half, hiked Endless Wall, Long Point and Castle Rock / Grandview Rim trails. We had some great meals nearby also, with our dog - Gandlebar Kitchen at Arrowhead Bike Farm and Freefolk Brewery with Ample Pizza. We’d highly recommend both!The cabin was very clean and Paul was great to work with, before and during our stay. It was nice to be able to also bring our dog, who enjoyed fetching the ball in the side yard.We would definitely recommend Mountaneer cabins to anybody coming to the area.

We thoroghly enjoyed this clean little cabin. Weve stayed at a lot of VRBO homes and this was so well equipped. We cooked most meals there and had everything we need. We will b back.

Loved this cabin. It was so cozy that it made us wish we'd planned to stay longer just to hang out here! Absolutely a perfect place to have a mountain getaway close to Fayetteville and the national park!

Every thing was good, except I got up this morning found a cockroach under our buns on the counter. It grossed me out. I wrote a note and put it on the counter.

Very sorry you had to deal with that. We have an exterminator spray twice a year and have not had any reports of bugs recently. From the picture it appeared to be a wood roach rather than a cockroach. I will get them back in to spray again immediately.

The cabin was great! Very clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. Hot tub was also clean and private. Used the grill and fire pit area. Only thing wrong was we couldn’t find linen for the pull out couch which we did need. Not sure if I was supposed to bring but I thought linens were a part of rental. Not a huge deal -we managed. Me and my two young adult sons had a great time zip lining and white water rafting- both were a short drive away. Highly recommend!

The cabin was very clean, updated and well maintained! Our host had great communication and check in was very easy! Our only negative was the hot tub cover was a little hard to mange for two older adults! Also, providing some firewood would definitely add to the stay, especially in winter!
