Beach vacation

Home was close to beach and easily accessible by walking over the boardwalk. Home was very centrally located and we were able to ride bikes to the fort, aquarium, walking trails, and stores. The home was well stocked and comfy but beds pretty hard.

Beach vacation

Condo was very centrally located and close to the beach. We were able to ride bikes to Fort Gaines, the aquarium, walking trails, park, and stores. Condo was clean and suited our family very well. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and we were able to cook almost daily. The short walk to the beach was perfect and we could see the ocean out our back door. My only complaint is that the beds were very hard and upstairs neighbor came in for several days and stomped around and moved furniture all night. Overall, we had a great time and a very restful much needed vacation. We would definitely recommend.

Quiet and family friendly

Great quiet beach vacation!

Place was perfect for our family! The condo was well kept up and kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook. We most enjoyed the private beach and pool. Neither were ever crowded. Great place for a week stay!

Nice Beach Stay

The unit was well supplied, the best of any I've rented. The noise from the upper unit was somewhat disturbing as they were early risers. The guest bathroom commode was sluggish and did not completely empty. The wi-fi turned off and on but adequate for email and doing searches. The instructions for checking in and finding the key to open the door could have been clearer. The wall switch which I assume turns on th fan in the master bedroom did not work. None of the above kept us from thoroughly enjoying our stay

Family of 3

We stayed here for our first family vacation, and liked it so much we are coming back next year with more family! The condo was very spacious and allowed for plenty of family activities. The location to the beach is unbeatable. The only con we had was the sliding patio door was very hard to open and shut, but it did not deter from our stay.

A peaceful stay!

We are a fam of 6 that stayed for a week in the middle of summer. We have 4 kids, ages 5-15. We chose this location for a quiet vacation. We had a fabulous time! A couple of pointers: pack everything and plan meals well. The nearest regular grocery store is 30+ minutes away. While we love to shop local, the prices for every day items are steep. As for meals out, restaurants were incredibly busy with very long waits. We all enjoyed our trip and I measure the success by my husband’s statement of-easiest vacation ever! Pros Full size washer and dryer were great Kitchen well stocked-it had everything I needed Fun, beach decor Quiet location Plenty of bath towels Kid friendly-a little stash of games kept the kids entertained! Wi-fi worked perfectly, lots of options on the TVs. I loved the little outdoor area outside the front doors where we could neatly leave all our sandy items for the next day without bringing them inside. Walk to the beach was easy Beach was fantastic! Never too busy even in the middle of summer! And if you walk down a bit you can be secluded- very nice for our busy, loud kids! Cons Listing should read 1 King bed, 3 twin beds, and 1 futon. There was no sleeper sofa as far as I could tell. One twin bed is set up as a daybed. I definitely couldn’t view the ocean from the condo. The condo listing shouldn’t be ocean front. However, the facility itself is definitely ocean front. Only the master bedroom is dark. There are no blackout shades in the other 2 sleeping areas. My kids were up with the sun. Cleanliness was just ok. Extra bedding for the futon, blankets on the beds, and pillow covers weren’t clean so we washed them. Couch could def use a vacuum. However counters, surfaces, bathrooms, and fridge were sparkly clean! It seemed difficult to find a place to stay this summer on the gulf coast so we took a chance on this little place, and it was great! The condo served its purpose, was priced right, the sand was white, and the water was fantastic! I can definitely see us coming back!

cozy condo

this condo was as described. the only issues we had was with the ac, fridge (took hours to cool when we initially got there) and the silverwares drawer track breaking. but over all it was great! the beach access made up for all of the small things. Kids and us enjoyed every moment! thank you for the memories!

Holiday at Beach

Closer to beach than thought and nice beach area. Kids enjoyed pool n evenings after day at beach. Rinse off area great for limiting sand carried into condo. Condo was perfect for week would consider a hand mixer and waffle iron added. Master bath toilet ran even after giggling handle. All and All would definitely stay again.

Very Noisy

The property was ok. It wasn’t extremely clean and honestly you can hear EVERYTHING that your neighbors are doing. It’s not for a quiet, sleep-in vacation.

Better than described

We (family of 5) absolutely loved our week at B-9!!! It was so much better than described and the beach is only a short walk away. The house smelled wonderful and it was so clean! Lovely appliances and very comfortable furniture. We could not have been happier!!!

Very nice place, but not an ocean view

The condo was spacious and nicely decorated. The management was helpful on our first day when we requested an extra key. It arrived within an hour. The pool was a nice perk and the woman who seemed to be the Surf Club caretaker (Denise) was very helpful and informative.

Surf Club

If you are looking for a low-key, quiet destination then this is your place. The Surf Club has a pool or you can walk just a bit farther to the beach. As recommended, bring your chairs (any beach activities) that the kids want to play with. Hit the store beforehand and you can make burgers on the charcoal drill provided. Or you can go down the road to Skinner's for a surf/turf style take-out dinner. You can walk the beach and collect shells, you can see sand crabs and aquatic birds. We even saw dolphins. Our stay was just what we wanted- sun, fun, & relaxing!
