Immaculate home with all the necessities(and more). So glad we stayed here. In the middle of so many things to do- Everglades, Biscayne, Miami, community pool within walking distance. Host was so helpful with info on area and truly cared that we were happy with our stay. Highly recommend.

This is a large modern well kept home. The beds do not have sags in them and the sheets are soft. The towels are not thin. We had no issues with the quality of the Wi-Fi. Vilma provides basic bath, kitchen and laundry soaps including a nice supply of toilet paper. This is not a “we provide one trash bag and after that you buy more rental”, which I have stayed in. It also has enough kitchen seating for all guests on your reservation, another thing which has been lacking in other rentals I’ve been at.The home is in a walkable and safe neighborhood, we enjoyed morning walks here. There is nice park close by, which has a community pool and other amenities. We went to the Everglades several days, because it is so easily reached from the home.Vilma and Erasmo are the best hosts I've ever booked with. You will be welcomed as a friend, and treated as such. They are very responsive to any questions, and love to share their favorite places to visit. You will not regret booking with them!

We loved staying here! Beautiful home and very comfortable with all sorts of little amenities. We loved sitting outside every morning. The hosts, Vilma and Erasmo, were extremely friendly, and provided all the comforts of home and more. Thanks for the muffins! We went to the Everglades with an idea of what we wanted to do, and our experience was so much better because Vilma gave us information on things to do, where to eat, and how to get around. It was an amazing experience and we will absolutely go back sometime and will choose to stay here again!

A charming, cozy and clean home! Vilma was a wonderful host! Greeted us at the property, provided a tour, welcomed us with muffins & coffee for breakfast, and gave recommendations throughout our stay. This property had everything we needed, including bug spray, sunscreen, shampoo/conditioner, body wash & beach towels to name a few. We'd definitely book again!

Vilma is a great hostess. She came over and met us when we checked in and came over to say goodbye. We liked the 11a.m. checkout rather than 10 that most places require. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need and has plenty of plates, cups, glasses, and flatware( some places do not). The beds were very comfortable, and the neighborhood is very quiet. The location is very close to one of the entrances to the Everglades, and about an hour’s drive to downtown Miami. All in my group would highly recommend Vilma’s house for a very pleasant stay. Wonderful stay with an outstanding host!

On our trip to Florida, we were lucky enough to book a night at this amazing property... but we should have booked a few more nights! The house is wonderful - clean, cozy and very welcoming with plenty of room for our family of 5 adults. And I have never had a more thoughtful, helpful or kind host. To make your stay in south Florida amazing, book this property!!

Gateway to National Parks

This house was the perfect home base for exploring the Everglades, Big Cypress, and Biscayne NP. Ms. Vilma was truly the “hostess with the mostest.” The property was sparkling clean and had everything we could possibly want (and more.) She even baked for us and shared mangoes fresh off the tree. Highly recommend!

Great stay really near to the Everglade

We were in Florida for 11 days but only 4 at this location. That was way to short considering all there is to do down there. We had plan all our activities before arriving to Vilma's place. I would recommand you contact Vilma before you visit, beacause she has so many ideas and places to go, Unfortunately we were out of time.The property is really well equiped, lot of space a nice backyard that was missing a bit of shade but very convinient.Thanks Erasmo and Vilam for your great hospitaliity.

Expandable house!

We initially booked the house for my family of 4. We wanted to be near the speedway as we were there for the Triathlon National Championship. Later on, the athletes needed a place to stay and the group grew to 8, then 10 and finally the last addition for a grand total of 11. Vilma was very accommodating with all the adjustments and a great communicator. However, I would not recommend the house for so many people, 8-10 adults is the max, especially if there are mixed genders and non family members sharing rooms and bathrooms. The beds are comfortable and the house very spacious for eating/relaxing. The back patio was my favorite spot in the evening! Thanks Vilma, we hope to be back next year!

Exceptional Host - Wonderful Accomodations

The large hone is packed full with amenities.Vilma took great care to prepare the house stocked with goodies for the most comfortable stay.We were there for 3-nights and the homes location was ideal for visiting the different sections of Everglades National Park and Biscayne National Park.

Homestead retreat

It was lovely to have the whole house to our family of 3. We each had our own space and a fully functioning kitchen and dining room though we did not use either room very much. The host met us and gave us some helpful hints. It was a very quiet neighborhood and we enjoyed our time in Homestead.

Family vacation

The house was very clean and set up just like you'd expect or want from VRBO rental. The host, Vilma, was so friendly and hospitable. She came and met uswhen we arrived to give us the key and started our stay off muffins and water. I highly recommend this place and we would gladly stay here again when in the area.. it was spacious as we were traveling as a family of 4 and our sons could have their own room and space witmumuffine.

Great Homestead stay!

Vilma is a very caring and engaged host. The house is very well stocked with everything one needs to feel at home away from home. It was an excellent stay and a great base for us to explore the Everglades. The surroundings fruit farms and nurseries are also very charming

I love this home and location, quiet enough to enjoy the privilege of nature, yet not rural. Gateway to the Florida Keys while close to the Everglades. Tropical fruits grown here, while the explorer and the fishermen in us can meet and enjoy from the same location. Nothing is too far.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Bird watching takes a different dimension at breakfast or dinner time, in this house. Sitting at the breakfast room table, allow you to take a peek at the Blue Jays or Red Cardinal, just to mention a few, by the bird feeder they visit everyday.
