Lägenheten ligger bara 10 minuters promenad från järnvägsstationen och i hjärtat av Grenoble (upp Vicotor Hugo - Place Grenette) och nära till affärer (bageri, apotek, tobak, snabbköp, barer och restauranger). Sängarna är bäddade vid ankomsten.

Mediocre

Host was confused about check in check out times, and I had to clarify the times posted on VRBO. The bedding and pillows were old. The neighborhood was dark and seemed sketchy at night - about a 10 minute walk from the center of things. Street parking only - and it’s expensive.

Quelques couacs résolus

Appartement bien situé. Linge propres. Équipement correct. Chauffage très bien. Quelques soucis à l’arrivée : volet roulant défectueux dans le salon alors qu’une personne y dormait. Ce qui signifie pas d’intimité. Le problème a été résolu par le propriétaire le lendemain (pose de double rideau). Nous avons dû demander du café comme indiqué sur l’annonce et un sac poubelle. À chaque demande, le propriétaire a été très réactif et nous a donné satisfaction. Quelques coins seraient à nettoyer un peu mieux, par exemple les barreaux du radiateur sèche serviettes qui sont très poussiéreux et qui ne donnent pas envie d’y faire sécher sa serviette. Le canapé lit au salon va bien pour une personne mais je doute de son confort à deux.

Cozy apartment, some fixtures need attention

Being next to a private adult club, the area seemed a bit dubious but we had no problems. The shower holder was broken however the owner was quick to respond to our queries but unfortunately he was on holiday and was unable to do much at short notice

Well furnished in the heart of the city

I stayed for almost the entire July and I feel staying at this property truly enriched my experience staying in Grenoble. We can walk to everything and tour the city on foot. It's also close to the train and liggtrail stations for us to explore out of the city center. Many shops within a block for easy access to food and beverage. Within two three blocks, you can find farmers market, several supermarkets, mall, kids play ground, and restaurants. On the weekends we rented car from the train station to visit Castles and mountain lakes, many spectacular places are only within 1-2 hours driving. The laundry machine and full kitchen provide convenience for prolonged stay. The owner replyes inquiry within minutes and is very nice. Dropped off a much needed fan before we even ask for it. There are few issues maybe for some but those are not problems for me. There's a stair to go up three flats so if you have limited mobility this is not the right property for you. There's no air conditioning, but it's not that hot in Grenoble even in July so AC is not common or necessary. Finally, it's in the city so street noises are in the background. I usually live in the suburb so it is something to get used to. If you are not booking for the football season it's probably going to be better. Experiencing French excitment during the FIFA final is part of my good Grenoble experience so I have no complains.

Very nice, good location

The apartment is basic, but fully met our needs. We thought that it was great for the price! It is located about in the middle between the train station and the old town. Both locations are walkable from the apartment. We had a very nice time. The owner was very nice and helpful.

We would definitely book this apartment again.

The well-appointed, cozy apartment is in the perfect location to explore Grenoble. An easy walk or tram from the train station and close to two tram stops, you can get to know the city easily. And it's a 5 minute walk from a grocery store. The apartment was spotless with all the amenities one could need. The owner could not have been more friendly and accommodating, answering our myriad questions before we arrived and then making sure we could get into the apartment as soon as we arrived even though it was several hours before official check in time. It was a little cold and rainy during our visit so it was lovely to come back to a toasty warm, bright "home away from home" at the end of the day. The apartment is on the 4th floor up a somewhat steep and winding staircase so be prepared for a little exercise.

Great location at a good price

We were looking for a budget-friendly place to spend the Christmas holiday with our son who's studying in Grenoble, and this property fit the bill perfectly. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the living room served as a great gathering place for Christmas morning. The location was very convenient as well, right around the corner from a tram station and just a 10-15 minute walk from the Grenoble train station. Our only turn-off was this staircase, which was undergoing renovation, had a strong, unpleasant smell and was a bit challenging to navigate with large suitcases. Once we were in the apartment, though, everything was great.
