Great beach house!

This place was great! It was so close to the beach and the shops in seaside we walked everywhere! It has a cute back porch that was great for having your morning coffee or having dinner on. It has everything you need for a great beach vacation:)

Great location, affordable old home

The house was extremely clean and well kept, but there was a crack in the shower floor and the dryer went out when we were there. The Vacasa team was so so wonderful and got a new one in the house the same day so there were no other problems! I would not count on that couch as a real bed though as it was very uncomfortable, as was the main bedroom.

Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again. I can’t even believe how close it was to everything. We basically didn’t even have to drive anywhere. It’s literally less than half a block from downtown Seaside. 2 blocks from the beach. Cute, clean backyard. Clean little house. Slight old house smell. That may have been intensified by the fact that it was all closed up and uncomfortably warm. We did stay in mid July so it is warmer. The problem is only 3 windows in the house open up. The bedroom and kitchen windows open but have no screens and the bathroom opens. None of the other windows open. Opening the front and back doors with the windows on the storms doors open did help. Some minor things like the left half of the toaster doesn’t pop up and the water from the shower kind of gets water all over the floor but they provide plenty of towels. Vacasa was very responsive when I texted them about 2 issues I had. The problem was that nothing was done about them. There was no parking pass anywhere in the house. The spaces in the apartment complex across the street would not have been far but one car always parked across one or two of the spaces sideways. However, the street in front of the house is public parking available to anyone so we were not without parking. They stated later that someone said when I contacted them that they would meet me with a parking pass but this was not the case at all. I was confused as to why an employee would say they said that when they didn’t. The sofa bed was probably the only problem. The sofa sinks in the front and when we went to pull the bed out many pieces appeared to be broken and non-functional to the point it would not come out and would not go back in. One of the springs for it was on top of a pillow in the linen chest/coffee table. When I texted they said they will have someone out to fix it that day. That was Monday morning. We left Thursday and no one had ever come out. They did apologize for this. Honestly I am going to make sure I book this house next time I go to Seaside. Even the walk back from the beach late at night was a short, safe, well-lit walk.

It was just what we needed! Great proximity to the main strip and the beach. Access to laundry and basic kitchen utensils and dishes. There was a musty smell to the place and dust in some of the nooks and crannies, but overall, relatively pleasant!

Older home, well taken care of

The Sunfish Cottage was close to everything -- it was a short walk to the beach, as well as restaurants and things to do along Broadway. We were able to park our car the whole time we were there because everything we wanted to do was less than a half mile walk. It was very quiet, and the accommodations were very comfortable. The home is older but is charming and well taken care of. It is at the top of our list for our next visit to Seaside!

Quaint Seaside Cabin

We enjoyed the cabin’s cleanliness, location (easy walking distance to the convention center) and quiet neighborhood. It’s older, also well-appointed and spacious (compared to a hotel room).

Good place!

We couldn't figure out the heating system based on the instructions given, but they had two space heaters to use! We only used one, because using both made the lights flicker and we got nervous haha. But the location and sun room (and cute backyard) were perfect for me and my friend to stay in!

The Sunfish 2.4.24

It's a cute little house perfect for two! And a pooch. The bed is very firm as described. Be prepared. The kitchen was nice and clean. Had the basic items. Great sunroom, living and dining room. Laundry room is nice. Back yard is small and fairly private. At least on a cold winter day. Two short blocks to the main drag and three long ones to the beach. Excellent walking or biking location to start your day from.

Great Location, Not Ideal when Cold Out

This spot was great! Had nice amenities and was conveniently located near downtown, the beach and other activities around Seaside! Only complaint is the heater took forever to warm the house and turned off randomly even when goal heat was not met. There are space heaters, but it was still pretty chilly. The hosts were great communicators and easy to work with.
